Great experience. My chihuahua Lola was having bloody stools and was bleeding while getting there. I called cause my vet was completely booked and needed a vet asap. They got me in an hour later and took care of my baby immediately. Ran tests and completely kept me in the loop. Had to give her iv fluids all day and the next day. They were amazing. You can tell they genuinely care about animals and love them like their own. Completely recommend them to everyone.

We have been seeing Dr. Covar and her staff for about a year now. The entire office, from cleanliness to care provided deserves 10 stars!

The wives that own this business are snobby and rude. Would not recommend taking your pets here. They are overpriced.

Edit/update: My beloved Matilda passed on June 6, 2026, days…read moreafter her 16th birthday. I want to add more love and gratitude for St. Francis (Dr. Cheeks, Dr. Garner, Dr. Landes, Mary, Kylee, Ashley, and everyone else) for never ever suggesting Matilda pass earlier, for always believing in her and greeting her with optimism and genuine happiness to see her, for bringing her relief and medical care that sustained her quality of life, for Dr. Cheeks' reassurance on the most painful day and for remembering that Matilda's ears were cute and soft, and for all of the love and support for her on her last day. My heart is broken to pieces, but I would have been broken sooner had it not been for the love and care of SFAH. Thank you, always. It would take way too long to write how much I love this place. I know everyone here, they all know my pets and me by name, and I feel like I'm a part of their family. I have made friends here, found my pet sitter here, they have gone above and beyond to make sure my dog is cared for when she comes in, and they have even helped me make flexible payments when I was struggling to pay from another country. Dr. Landes is another important part of the team, and she and her staff do chiropractic adjustments and red light laser therapy on my dog for her arthritis. I so appreciate her intelligence and resourceful ways in tackling all available healing methods. Dr. Garner is especially brilliant, invaluable, and a core part of the foundation of this business. Anytime I bring my dog in, he comes out and sits down with me and explains everything to me for quite some time so that I can make an informed decision based on my financial ability and the fact that I love my dog and want to keep her as happy as possible for as long as possible. I am so grateful for him and for the whole team. This is my forever primary vet for as long as I live in the CSRA.

I just picked this practice from the net as it has good reviews and is close to where we live. I have been nothing but please by the entire staff-clerical, nursing and vet medicine in every respect. The facility is superb, always clean and we;; kept and is of high quality. My lab had a mass removed from her lower jaw and Dr Berkshire not only did a superb job but was kind and caring to our senior lab. When I first went there I didnt tell them I was a children's surgeon and just let them go on and they explained things perfectly and in depth. They are competitive in their pricing compared to our vets in Baltimore and explain why they want a particular test or exam before hey order it. Truly professional throughout the entire staff. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PETS IN THE CARE OF THIS FACILITY!! I boarded my Boston Terrier puppy with Paw…read morePerfect grooming from July 13 - 21 during my family's vacation. I told the owner that my puppy needed to have drops put in his left eye twice a day due to lack of tear production, he said that was no problem. The drops were not applied properly and my dog develop an ulcer on his eye. The owner claimed that he "only missed the first two days of applications but that he had done his best to make sure the drops were applied" and "had I known applying the drops was critical I would've made sure that I got them to him." Aside from providing application instructions, the prescription bottle also stated the required administration. I had to drive my puppy directly to animal emergency and his eye had to be removed today! He was absolutely negligent in the care of my puppy, didn't attempt to contact me to let me know there was an issue with his eye or attempt to seek veterinary care. My children are devastated that our puppy had to have his eye removed and I was left with over $700 in vet fees due to his negligence. I strongly advise against leaving your animals with this facility.

Heartsong Spay and Neuter Clinic - Charged receipt with additional $9.98 charge

    Heartsong Spay and Neuter Clinic

Sharing the disgusting, predatory practices Heartsong Spay and Neuter Clinic…read more Tuesday, February 9, 2021: This story could have started a week ago as one of my cats was scheduled to be neutered February 2nd, but Heartsong called me on February 1st to cancel because their vet tech was out for the week. They called me back the next day, Feb 3rd and rescheduled for the following week with my other cat, Feb 9th. So My husband took our two cats to be neutered at Heartsong Spay and Neuter. He dropped them off at 7am as they told us to drop them off between 7am-7:30am. He was told it would be $175 and some change at pick up and that pickup would be at 9:00. I already paid $40 to book the appointments back in January, which is required to schedule your appointment, as a deposit. I received a call from Heartsong at 8:27am saying my cat buddy has cryptorchidism, one of his testicles was in his abdomen and required a more invasive surgery and that it would take longer. She said they could still do it but it was an additional $70, she told me the amount would be $241.12. I agreed to the $70 and called to inform my husband as he was the one picking them up. I was waiting to hear back from them about when the cat would be done and I never heard from them. I am a teacher and didn't have time to call until 10:24 to which they didn't answer and called again at 10:26 when a woman answered and I explained my situation to her as she said "for buddy and mercy? I was just about to call you". So I contacted my husband who left our house and arrived to pick them up. Upon arrival he was charged a late fee increasing the amount to 300.28. He argued and she eventually said she could take $15 off. He was done and wanted our cats so he gave them his card to pay the $285.28. Before swiping the card, she stated there was an additional $9.98 for card transactions (the receipt literally says "non cash adj"). So he paid $295.28, an additional $54 as a late fee. I of course did not discover the interaction until I arrived home from work. I am boiling. I wanted receipts, to which they did not provide an itemized receipt. I do have the card transaction with the "non cash adj" fee. I have no idea the cost of the individual services provided to my cats. I called them but they closed at 12:00pm. I did leave a voicemail concerning a price discrepancy with my name and number. I am disgusted honestly.

I came here recently to get my female cat fixed. Overall, I had a good experience. The only thing I…read moredidn't like was that it took so long to get her an appointment. We had called to schedule her something right after her kittens were born. We were told that they would be able to get her in right away. So there was no need to schedule something ahead of time. We called when the kittens were 6 weeks old like we were told, only to schedule the appointment almost 2 months out. That was very frustrating. Especially since we were expecting to get her in right away. Trying to keep a cat that seems to go in heat every 5 seconds in the house for that long is extremely difficult lol. The day of her appointment was pretty easy. I received a call the day before reminding me of the drop off time and that I shouldn't feed her past midnight. I dropped her off the next day early in the morning. The receptionist was very friendly, and went over all of the costs with me. She let me know if there were any extra costs why I would have them. So I knew what to expect just in case. I did opt to have them give her an updated rabies shot while there. My little lady is very friendly and lovable. But she gets so anxious and cries when she has to get vaxxed. It was very convenient to know they could do it while she was knocked out. The place didn't look dirty, and wasn't all that smelly. You could tell they had animals in there, but it's a very small vet clinic. So it should be expected. I came back at the time I was given to grab my cat to find out she was in heat (surprise , surprise) when they performed the surgery. So the cost was going to be a bit more, which was fine. They went over all of the after care instructions with me, and let me know I could purchase an E-collar if I preferred. They don't give them with cats since cats typically don't bother that area. I didn't get one, but she seems to be healing nicely. We decided to keep one of my cats kittens. We will definitely be bringing her here within the next month or so to get her spay surgery as well.
