They called to confirm the appointment and then they told me it was going to be a minimum of $135+++ I kindly said no thank you I'm all set. They called me back 15 minutes later and said they would honor the price. The aesthetician wore latex gloves the entire time that were a size too big at her... so the only thing I could smell was latex in the sound of that rubbing up against my face. I'm pretty sure she just used soap and water. I asked for a deep cleansing facial, she "cleansed" my face for no more than 2 minutes, max. She was washing my face, rinsing out the washcloth a bowl of dirty water that she had removed the scrub from. She would leave the room for 5 mins at a time and in the salon, the owner (?) was walking around talking on speakerphone... the least relaxing environment I have ever been in. I paid to have a face mask put on, it would've been a heck of a lot cheaper if I did it at my house. Finally, I went to check out and there was a miscellaneous $10 charge. There was no mention of "additional charges" when I was on the phone yesterday discussing the price. I think my skin looked better when I walked in. Super unhappy, would absolutely not return.

I'm so so so glad I did! The space is immaculate and they have the proper procedures in place to safely get your hair done. Yes, it's expensive (double what places nearby charge) however, I knew that going in and was willing to pay top dollar with the expectation of premium service. But instead of feeling pampered or valued as a client, I often left feeling like I was a burden. The owner's attitude is consistently rude, and I've been made to feel like the way I live or maintain my lashes creates "extra work" for them. (I barely wear makeup and I don't wear eye makeup). It's uncomfortable and unprofessional. On top of that, scheduling is rigid and inflexible, which makes it tough for clients with normal life demands. Bottom line: For the price they charge, the experience should feel luxurious--not stressful. I won't be returning.
