I was horrified to learn how my niece's best friend was treated at this salon yesterday. This lovely young woman, who is like family to us, asked me weeks ago where she should get her nails done before going to see her family in Dubai. It was going to be the first time she got a mani pedi in the US, and she has lived here for 4 years. When it was time to pay, she gave $40 cash for a $170 treatment, more than the standard 20% tip. And the technician who serviced her proceeded to shame her for not tipping to her liking, saying things like "didn't I do a good job?" and telling her $40 was not enough. While I have personally never been to this salon, I have local friends who are regulars and have recommended it highly to me (which is why I recommended it to my niece's friend). But I guess a 23-year old Pakistani woman straight out of college who drove in from West Haven to treat herself deserves to be treated differently than local Westport white women? I am embarrassed to have sent her to your salon and will be sharing her story widely. Shame on you. read more

Terrible mani and pedi. Rushed, switch technicians half way through, one was worse than the next. Both the mani and pedi chipped within 24 hours. They had to re-do the manicure once already and blamed the polish for the uneven finish. Switched to a different (pricier) polish and it was just as bad. I will never go back here. Showed the girl the picture of what I wanted 7 times and she still couldn't do it. If she couldn't do it, she should've told me in the beginning. Told me it was $95 for "extension" nails, my nails are 1 cm from my fingertip. I paid $95 for something that should've been $65. She also took 2 hours to do it. I got a 90 minute massage this past weekend. They seemed fairly priced, so I gave it a shot. The massage would have been great if i was able to actually relax. Why couldn't i relax, you ask? Well first of all (minor thing), there was no spa music or white noise or anything- just the sounds that echoed from the nail spa area. The main reason for my low review is due to the male masseuses' erect penis that kept touching me through his pants and the little sheet that was covering my naked body. At one point, as i was laying face down with my arms at my sides on the table, it actually landed right in my palm-up hand. It was unmistakably a dick and balls. When this happened, I quickly jerked my away. I could feel it near my head as well while he was massaging my shoulders so my neck tensed up as i tried to tilt away from it. It was all i could think about as i helplessly suffered through 90 minutes of this. I've never cared if a male or female did my massage, but this experience has left a horrible mental scar that I will never forget. Victoria gave the BEST facial (we both agreed) and the massage was super strong. I wasn't a huge fan of the pressure points on my skull but my friend loved it, so to each her own. Will never go back. NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE WITH LASH EXTENSIONS & NAILS! Let's start off with the lash extensions, the girl I went to was Tiffany, at first, Tiffany was great, she did a good job, but when I went for a fill, I realized she was cutting my real lashes to get the lash extensions off, secondly when she ended up putting the new set on, she glued them to my eye lid causing me great pain and agony, not to mention, she plucked one of my real eye lashes out!!! I decided I would never go back there again. As my fake lashes started to fall off, I realized that my real lashes were cut so short that it appeared like I had no lashes at all! Weeks later, thankfully, my real lashes have grown longer and now are back to normal! I had to wear strips for the longest time because of what was done to my lashes. For nails, I went to Nicole, I originally had tips on my nails and decided that I wanted them removed (Nicole did my tips for a while), when I told her to take them off, she told me No because I needed the nail to grow out more before removing the fake nail. Which didn't make any sense to me, so she did my fill and ended up putting glue underneath my nails causing my nails to become very soft, brittle and begin to turn brown. I went to another place two weeks later to get them removed and when I finally had them removed, my nails were so dull, broken and in very unhealthy condition that it's been weeks and my nails are STILL recovering. I haven't been able to put polish on them because I need them to breathe AND whenever they grow, they break so quickly due to the damage that was done. I've been seeing Tiffany for eyelashes for months. I have really sensitive eyes but she somehow is able to do the extensions without any discomfort. Lasts really long if you take care of them. Highly recommended. I have to address ridiculous review by Elle M - noone cuts your eyelashes. The weight of eyelash extensions over months will break your own eyelashes. That's a matter of gravity not a fault of a technician. Also, getting nail extensions will do some damage to your natural nails and they will grow out. read more

Today's visit was just a nightmare. Nail tech Katie was not able to properly refill UV gel, I wasn't even sure if she worked with UV gel before. First, she was so in rush buffing my nails, that she broke one nail with a nail drill, (without even saying sorry), then she put 3 coats of UV gel because she couldn't make the nail even, on the sides of the nails she just left huge bumps of UV gel, when I'm told them - this is not how nails should look, like the bumpy, huge gap between cuticle and gel, they said they look pretty - and nothing wrong with them... and yeah I paid $63, for thick, curvy, bumpy nails. Do not recommend it. Also, Hope I won't get any infection as Nail tech Katie cut my cuticle bleeding several times, without even spraying alcohol on the wound! *Update, next morning my nail fell off, it wasn't even 24 hours after a refill. I went to the salon and said I want a refund, as I'm not satisfied with the quality of my nails they offered to redo them, but I wasn't ready to spend another extra 2 hours buffing them again especially cuticle was damaged. I ended up getting my money back, but the owner was very rude, she said - " Do not come here again" which I think is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. read more

Came here for a 90-min massage and was pleased with the result! The masseuse (did not catch his name) was attentive and focused on the areas I requested. There was a small language barrier but it worked out. Areas for improvement: would be nice to have a more clear area for clients to set their clothes, purse, phone, etc. in the massage room. It was a bit cluttered and I ended up just putting my stuff on the ground. Some soft music rather than silence might have been nice as well. Overall, a positive experience. read more

Absolutely Horrible!!!! I went to Bella today and she literally butchered my finger! It would not stop bleeding and would not stop for over an hour :( I had to leave and could not even have my nails painted... The manager was so unhelpful also and while I was in tears she answered the phone so basically did not care what I had to say! If I get an infection from this cut, I am calling the health department Will never ever go back there again! They ruined my day and my finger still hurts! Ouch!!!!!! Horrible read more

I came to this given the high reviews. Initially I was met with a women who said she would give me a free 5 min massage and an additional 10 mins would be $15. When I went to pay they then said $20 was due. I wasn't going to argue and I paid it. Several days later th dip manure chipped and I went back to have them repair. I was met with we don't have time to accommodate you. I was told to come in and I waited for 25 mins before being seen. The manicurist was rude and shouted at me when I told her I don't remember the color number because they were the ones who chose it to match my pedicure. The lack of professionalism, duplicitous charging and low quality manicure will deem this nail salon low on my list. They never apologized for any of the above. read more

I used to love Posh 7 years ago when the service was professional and matched the price point. But my last 6-10 services (UV gel fill) have been abhorrent. My nail tech has touched my body to comment on my weight, before making inappropriate comments about my body size to the tech sitting next to her, who also fed into the conversation. Initially I let it go, assuming she didn't know better. But after telling her to stop, she continued making the same inappropriate comments of the same type. This, in addition to the creepy guy walking around giving too detailed massages, I've had enough. I will be checking out other smaller salons going forward. read more

Charged $90.32 (not including tip) for a French manicure. My nails look great, but the price is ridiculous. After complaining about the price I was told it cost that much because a gel polish was used. I will not be returning to Posh Spa & Nail. The salon needs to be upfront about pricing. read more

Full disclosure: I do not frequent nail salons for manicures and pedicures. However, while visiting a dear friend in Westport, she recommended we spend a couple of hours at Posh Nail & Spa for some good old-fashioned pampering. Based on my limited experience with these places, Posh Nail was quite relaxing and I definitely felt well taken care of during my time there. I don't do polish - shiny buff only. (Which costs extra, but they do a great job.) The spa pedicure is worth the splurge. Love the hot stone massage and the paraffin treatment. The back, shoulder and neck massage during the manicure is almost as good. Just be sure to bring cash for tips. They only let you put the cost of the services on your credit card. I spent $224 + $25 on tips for nails and eyelashes only for my nails to start breaking that same day. The very next morning I showed up missing 6 nails! at that point I did not want to do my nails again I wanted a refund and they gave me a hard time to then say I can give you 50% of your money back which is absolutely ridiculous. They were trying to not give me anything by insisting they would do it over I literally broke the 4 nails I had left infront of her so she can see how weak they where after I explained that it is ridiculous for them to only want to give me 50% for nails that broke the same day she said she'd speak to the owner I ended up getting my money back Then my lashes they glued the lashes to the root of my eyelash hair follicle blocking my pore and she put lashes twice the size of mine on even my smallest lash causing them to weigh down my lashes on top of all this my eyes burned the entire times and I can't even rub my eyes even in the slightest form because the glue is on my lid and it hurts also if I move them from my lid they fall off with my natural lash I've lost around 10 lashes already. I also complained about this and they did nothing about it did not even acknowledge it after I showed her my lashes At least she should have offered to take them off for free because I absolutely hate them but moving forward I will never return here the only good thing I have to say is the employees are very nice read more

I love the Posh Spa in Greenwich. It is a beautiful, clean facility with a special entryway that sends a puff of sterile air as you enter the business. I had an incredible full body massage with Madison, the licensed massage therapist who had me doing all kinds of acrobatic stretches on the massage table that left me relaxed and stretched. This massage is done in a private, lovely massage room, where you are on a massage table, dedicated to just massage, rather than a massage sitting up while getting a manicure, and Madison is an expert. She totally understood my situation as I've had 2 back operations. She was very intelligent and well educated, and I feel great!! read more

Awful experience. Was told I didn't need a reservation and waited a half hour for a mani pedi. Was rushed through the service, which was the worst mani pedi I've ever had. Todays visit was my first time and I was very happy with my regular mani pedi with an additional hot stone massage. Total was $60. Cindy was very warm and welcoming and did a great job. The salon was busy but not packed during a midday Wednesday. The only thing I missed was the free mini massage. Since the pandemic don't know if they did away with this little bonus. I was offered a membership card which gives me my 11th mani free. My old salon down the road, Finger Nail 2, kept a record of my visits but after 17 yrs I never got a single freebie and when I asked, the manager said after 10,000 pts! What???? I have to spend 10k for a free mani?!?! Hence this is one of the reasons I tried a new salon. I'm hopeful Posh will be my go to place from now on. read more

Great place for a pedicure, but steer clear if you're looking for a dip manicure. Two days in a row I went in asking for dip with 1.5 hours of free time, and they moved incredibly slow at getting my manicure underway. Not to mention the end result is just terrible. Black was my first day, where I originally wanted tips and an oval French design but they ran out of time because my technician kept leaving me for chunks of time. Came back the next to get the tips because I was frustrated with the result since they couldn't the day before and asked to pay the difference. Wish I hadn't. The red is so far from shiny and does not dry within minutes as normal gel dip manicures do. Down 3 hours of my weekend and $90 for two terrible manicures. read more

Had the worst nail experience. They must had have about 30 people WORKING. It was very busy and congested even at 10am. I needed gel removal and regular manicure. I had to wait about 10min before being seated, which wasn't bad, and 15-20min for my nails to soak (understandable). I felt forgotten as no one came to check on me and was asked to go back to the waiting area because they needed to seat someone else at the station. A "lash specialist" had to come save me in the corner. Bless her heart. She was sweet, gave me great shape, but quick with polishing and sent me on my way. Got the most irritated looks from the woman who did my gels, and as a result of her reluctance to give me a mani she gave me one of the worst I've ever had. Didn't give me a book of colors to look through and when I asked for almond-shaped nails she filed them into literal triangles. Super unhappy that I spent $40 on gels here. read more

I've been coming here for over a decade and my nails are always perfect when I leave. The massages are amazing and the staff is supper nice. Sure the traffic can be a bit high but it's a big spa.
