She told me I needed a referral to be seen, even though my insurance does not require one. When I attempted to explain, she cut me off, saying "no, you need a referral," and added that she "wasn't risking her job." The situation escalated quickly, with both staff members raising their voices, insisting I was wrong. Despite showing her on my insurance app that no referral was needed, she insisted that I call to get one. I called my insurance company, and after a brief wait, had a representative confirm that no referral was required. When I returned to the front desk, the staff member spoke rudely to both me and the insurance representative, even showing frustration when she couldn't understand the representative's accent. After the call, I was allowed to check in, but the interaction felt unnecessarily confrontational. Another review from two weeks ago mentions a similar experience, indicating this is a recurring issue. I had no issues with the back-office staff, including Trieveonna, Erin, and Shelinda, who were helpful.
