I have been going to this spa for the last 6 or 7 years and was always happy when I went. I brought a friend in today, a Monday at 11:00 am. I wanted a manicure, she wanted acrylics. As soon as I walked in she said she couldn't do us. I said when are you available, we will come back and she gave me no time, just continued to say no. I called for a same day appointment for gel manicure on a Friday, and was able to get one. I arrived and Lee, the nail tech, took me to her station. Lee was a little rough when it came to manicuring my nails, and when she did my cuticles one nail was small cut. I was not happy about this and did let her know. In the end my nails did look nicely manicured and painted with my favorite color. The shop itself is pretty clean. Everyone in the shop greeted me and was friendly. I'd return and recommend but maybe I'll mention to be more gentle. **update** I posted a pic of two of my nails the day after my manicure showing the cuticle is red and sore (and painful) from being roughly cut. read more

Owner has a bad attitude, she wants to choose who does your nails. Too rigid when I'm the customer and the one paying for services

A few months back, I booked an appointment, I showed up and the nail technician was not there. An assistant came over and removed my gel nail so my nails looked terrible but I ended up waiting 40 mins for the technician to show up! I would have left if they didn't take my prior nails off and then it looked terrible! Also when the technician was working on my nails she kept pressuring me to get gel again even though I said no multiple times and she still put it on. Thankfully they reduced the overall price but I will NEVER go back here again. read more

I am 7 months pregnant at the moment and was looking for a place nearby my job where I can get a pedicure because my feet were killing me. I stumbled upon this place for the first time and was amazed at the great service that was provided. First of all the pedicure station is in its own secluded room so it felt with dimmed lights and relaxing music. It felt like I was literally in a spa. The seat reclined and to be honest I almost fell asleep while the lady was doing my feet lol. I didnt expect to have a stone massage along with my pedicure so that was a very pleasant surprise. While I was getting my toes tried the lady also provided me with a back massage. It was truly an amazing experience and I can go back to work feeling super relaxed. Hit or miss. I've been here only twice. The first time was about a year ago and the technician, Latina, outperformed herself with the gel mani service she provided. However, I was in a couple of weeks ago and met with someone else who rushed me in and out of the establishment. I've never had a bad pedi until two weeks ago. Rarely do my nails peel from gel mani and my mani lasted no more than 4 days. Typically I can go for at least 2 weeks. I spent over $100 for my special pedi and gel mani. Consistency is very important in a business. If I intend to go back, I will seek the original technician who is still employed at the spa. I would say of other local nail spas I've visited Reflex has a larger sample of brands to choose from (DND v. Opi). read more

My mom and I came here today for pedicures and I also got a manicure. I had Lee working on me and she was really great. She is super good at massages too! The massage chair for the pedicures is really great and upscale. They do paraffin wax and hot stone massage even with a classic pedicure which costs $30. Then for my manicure Lee was very thorough and she really is quite the perfectionist which makes me happy. I even had a nail that I had broken below the skin this morning but it hadn't come off yet. She suggested we do a gel cover over it so it won't continue to break. She did that and you can't even tell. It looks really good and now I don't have to worry about my skin ripping off with my nail. Everything is very clean and they have curtains to separate the different spaces and to help keep things safe during Covid. Everyone was wearing a mask as well. I Had a great experience at Reflex spa! My manicure was surprisingly cheap ( I don't get them often so maybe it's normal but it was $17 for regular manicure -just paint) My nail lady Lee, was meticulous and perfectionist with every step- filing, CUTICLES, she was masterful and very kind spirited. While my nails were drying she even used a hot stone and did a little shoulder massage. VERY clean and attentive staff, and they know when to leave you alone so you can relax. $30 pedicure included a 5 min massage on each leg and hot stones afterwards. My friend and I made appointments for pedicures. We got the Reflex pedicure. Everything was fine until they sat us to dry our nails. My friend got a stone massage on her neck and upper back and my woman just disappeared. After 10 minutes of sitting there I looked back and apparently she went on break instead of finishing with me. I visited Reflex Nail and Spa before a 12-night Caribbean vacation and was so pleased with everything: the condition of the salon is clean, quiet, and relaxing. After spending most of my days in the ocean on vacation, my nails were still perfect (no chips, no peeling) by the end of the vacation. I've never experienced that before, usually after a week or so the gel starts to peel. I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. While traveling through Shelton, CT I needed a pedicure so I searched on Yelp and found Reflex close to the Hampton Inn. It also caught my eye because who doesn't love a reflexology massage? The website showed that a 20 minute reflexology pedicure was $40. This confused me at first because I thought the pedicure only lasted 20 minutes. I called to clarify and that meant a pedicure plus a 20 minute reflexology massage. Out of pure excitement at this point I drove straight there, which was only 2 minutes from my hotel. The location was very easy to see and clean. As I walked in there was an immediate sense of calm, with soft melodic music playing in the background and the employees speaking very delicately. One thing I would change inside would be the lighting. It seemed very sterile, not spa like. However I was so relaxed the majority of the time that my eyes were closed! The pedicure chairs were not your normal ones. They adjust to meet the needs of a pedicure or a massage. It was actually really cool! Julianna did my pedicure and was wonderful. She took her time to make sure I liked each step and double checked my comfort. She even dipped my feet in paraffin, which was so silky! I enjoyed the reflexology massage so much that I decided to have Julianna do a 10 minute chair massage too for an additional $15. Great decision because once again it felt amazing! Plus the price was definitely reasonable. If I'm ever traveling for work in this area again I will make sure to stop here! It's worth it!! read more

We all know the best part of a pedicure is the massage, and the reflex pedicure I had here did not disappoint in the least. These aren't your standard pedicure chairs with whirlpool basin - they do carry the water basin over to you. And the chairs are almost like half circles, and designed to easily and comfortably tilt you back or sit you up. The pedicure was quite nice and my nail polish looks great. Then comes the 20 min reflexology massage - this was lovely. I have no idea what she did, but what a fabulous massage, I felt so relaxed. They do also provide a nice back / shoulder rub while your polish dries. I went on a Friday around 12:45 and I think only three other people were there (it's on the smaller side, but I think that adds to the relaxing atmosphere). Reflex spa is very reasonably priced for the service I received, and I am so happy to have found my go to pedicure place. read more

The chair is innovated, not a massage chair, but they gave me a heating pad to keep my back warm the whole time! The pedicure was very detailed and the girl Jillian did a great job!
