There were some parts that did hurt quite a bit, but it is over quick. Once the was is pulled off, the pain only lingers for a few seconds. She didn't laugh at me while I was spewing a stream of curse words every time a section was pulled. She may have had to go over some spots twice - sorry! The soothing gel treatment at the end really cools the whole area off. The whole thing was over in 30 minutes, maybe a little longer. I recently moved to Shelton and was looking for a nail salon that matched my two favorites in my former town. Reflex Nail did not disappoint! The place is spotless, and each pedicure chair was separated by clear shower curtains. The chairs were especially comfortable, unlike some salons where your head is pushed slightly forward or there isn't enough support for the lower spine/lumbar area, and the controls worked! Pedi included a few minutes of reflexology with light pressure, so it wasn't uncomfortable the way reflexology can sometimes be. Service was friendly and attentive, but not obtrusive.
