Been here a few times and I have not been disappointed. The champurrado is good. The gorditas are good. Fast service through takeout. I will be back to this place for a sit down meal. Great variety of everything.

    5 corn tortilla tacos

I found myself in Pasadena for a month and was desperately craving tacos for lunch. After a quick Yelp search, I found a spot that was 5 minutes away and decided to try it. Refrequeria Las Fuentes was a great choice and I'm glad I had such a strong craving that day, as I had a chance to try this spot! It's a pretty small restaurant and has a lot of different snack and more substantial meal offerings. I decided to try their corn tortilla tacos, 5 for only $7! They have many different meat and veggie offerings listed on the side of the restaurant. I didn't see the list so I just asked for 5 different meats and didn't specify which kinds. They came out pretty quickly with covered foil on a plate which I took back to my workplace breakroom. The tacos came with onions and cilantro, but you can specify if you don't want those toppings. I loved the green salsa they provided and the meats were absolutely delicious. I devoured the tacos quickly and felt pretty full afterwards, so they were definitely enough food for a full lunch! I did have to chug water throughout the day afterwards as they were quite salty, but I would definitely do it again if I were in Pasadena again. Highly recommend if you find yourself in the area!!

#1 Lunch spot in this desolate terrain, SOOOOOOOO FRESH , VEGGIES SOOOO CRISPY !!! Ive had the soft burritos....too yummy n rich [read: waistline ENCROACHING] to eat consistently but the Hard tacos [they call it Crispy] OMG, they pile the plate with lettuce tomatoes chunky avocado slice its simply the best. Everything tastes homemade and so well seasoned ...the TORTA's are life!!!! the bread is butter toasted/grilled, the fries are sizeable and fresh, the service is verrrrrrrrrrrrrry friendly considering where its located and how they behave generally in the environ... their meats dont taste like typical fast food at allll, everything is just juicy and tasty and that scraped off the bottom of the pot seasoning taste. I love the attendant lady that speaks english shes soo bubbly and endearing. Prices usually between 4-7$

My coworkers and I frequent this place a lot. Sometimes it's embarrassing how many times I eat tacos in a week. I've tried a handful of items, but usually stick with the plain beef tacos. Just a corn tortilla, mean, onions, and cilantro. They give you a lime wedge and a side of green sauce. It's my favorite inexpensive, but super tasty lunch (I order 2 for about $2.50 total). I've also had the gordita and some of the drinks (horchata and the mango drink). ALl really good as well. Service is slightly slow if you're in a hurry, but I'm not really in a hurry so it doesn't bother me. You can call ahead if you need to.

First time eating here. It's very good. Ordered nachos Mexicanos and my husband ordered the hamburgesa combo. I recommend the auqa de limon!

The restaurant doesn't feel new by any means, but lived in in the best way possible. There's colorful decor, plenty of seating, and a lovely overall vibe The menu offers your typical Tex-Mex dishes; tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, salads, etc. we ordered off their lunch menu You are given complimentary chips and salsa to start. It's a tasty red salsa (no green/verde). The staff were very professional and efficient. We got our orders taken in a timely manner, the food didn't take long, and our drinks were always filled Everything tasted great. The prices are typical for Tex-mex type restaurants. But the ambiance, service, and quality are worth a stop Some tips: The interior temperature was fairly cold, and I run hot. I'm not complaining at all, more warning those who get cold easily They open relatively early (10am) everyday, but they typically close before 9pm, except on Saturdays Cheers!

Everyone happy that we were eating there today. I ordered the chilaquiles plate. It was hands down the best ever! My wife ordered the huevos rancheros. She said the plate was perfect! We also ordered a couple of coffees. I wish they had more business. This is a great place in Pasadena, TX. I'll be back!

Not to mention, the salsas were incredible. Three different salsas, all with a little kick, but truly so delicious for very reasonable prices. The owner came out, greeted us, answered our questions about the menu, and the food came out very quickly. While this is more of a no-frills location with not much decoration, the food and value makes this easily a 5 star review for me. Can't recommend highly enough if you are looking for authentic Mexican food.

It's a small place, so it's not ideal for large gatherings and they're easy to miss. El Tostaco Regio does not serve typical Mexican cuisine. Their food is what you would find served on the streets of Mexico. So there's no refried beans, rice or a queso plate here. Most of their dishes comes with beans and a cup of broth. Their food is served fresh, but messy. Everything they make is packed with flavor, but not overpowered by spices. The tables have three complimentary sauces you can try with your dishes. If your other party is not in the mood for Mexican, El Tostaco Regio also have burgers and baked potatoes. Their menu is bilingual, thankfully. The staff are patient and kind. Prices are affordable. I will say that their AC system could've been better, considering we're in Summer now. They only have only bathroom. Aside from a TV playing Latino music, there's no decor inside at all. My major issue is that El Tostaco Regio is NOT wheelchair accessible. That's completely unacceptable!
