Money and Portion Worth The Money! Let me begin with the customer service. The owner and staff are on point! Let it be known, the owner is known for offering a free appetizer and constantly checking on patrons. So don't be surprised if you get a few visits. Food - 4 stars The food is tasty and good. Portion size is definitely worth the money. Customer service - 5 stars Greeted when entering and constantly checked on. Our check. Not bad at all

First time trying this one. First, it's a pleasant low key atmosphere. We were greeted at the door with a smile and seated right away. Chips and salsa as usual. The chips are made in house and are substantial. Salsa are nice. Green is not the usual mild fare, it has a nice spice that reads more creamy tomatilla than guacamole. The red is very nice with a good amount of spice. We ordered the chicken flautas and the fajita combo (chicken, beef and shrimp) with corn tortillas (house made). The flautas were hot and fresh, nicely puffy and crisp. The chicken is flavorful. Fajitas are nicely cut, grilled to perfection and the amount is more than enough for the three tortillas which are served soft and warm in the standard warmer. A very pleasant experience and we will definitely be back

I ordered the queso flameado and it was disgusting. The chorizo was burned and the cheese was so hard it was like a big hard glob that you couldn't dip anything in. I tried to heat it to see if that would help but it didn't. But even if it did nobody wants to eat burned chorizo. The chips were stale. My enchiladas were edible no had no flavor.

The gentleman in the pink was the one who was very tentative.

We stayed a weekend after visiting the Zoo. We came in this morning for a quick breakfast before we hit the road back home. We stopped and we had a GREAT experience. Delicious food and reasonably priced. The service was fast and very friendly. The restaurant itself self was clean and welcoming. The staff treated us like we were locals. There was a gentleman wearing a pink shirt, he was either the manger or the owner who check in on us and ask if we needed anything each time. He talked to our 3 year old son and gave him a Duvalin after he ate his breakfast. We sang Happy Birthday to someone but everyone participated in the singing. We all went to the restroom before heading out and my son left his plush snake at the table and one of the servers was waiting with his snake at the door jokingly asking him if he liked her snake. We definitely will be coming back! Thank you for your hospitality and a great dinning experience.

Clean restaurant, clean restrooms. Service was attentive, friendly and inviting. Everything we had from chips and salsa to our plates were fresh, hot and most importantly DELICIOUS. We've driven by here countless times but have never stopped in, and we will definitely be returning. Do yourself a huge favor, if you're craving GOOD Mexican food, pass on Casa Ole and just come here!

When I saw the name Shuko 502 in Deer Park, I thought no way, Guatemalan food out here. But to my…read moresurprise, it's more of a Central American fusion spot, with nods to several countries. Still, the name Shuko had me curious, it's one of Guatemala's most iconic street foods, so I had to try it. For those who don't know, a traditional Guatemalan shuko is street food done right: grilled bun, steamed hot dog, Guatemalan-style guacamole (no onions or tomatoes), sauerkraut, mustard, ketchup, and mayo. Their take here is a bit different no guac on mine, but still packed with flavor. A mix of grilled meats, sauerkraut, and condiments all stuffed into a roll. Definitely not traditional, but still tasty. I also tried one of their pupusas, and it hit the spot. A classic revuelta melted cheese and chicharrón oozing out of a perfectly griddled corn masa pocket. Comfort food, plain and simple. Only downside The fries. They were undercooked, a little limp. Just needed a bit more time in the fryer. But overall, if you're into street food with a Central American twist, Shuko 502 is worth the stop.
