Asado with Napoles and all the trimmings. Brilliant

Owned by a young couple who just kill it. Place is very small, menu diverse. This is true Mexican not TexMex. Go, eat, enjoy.

Food was decent but not the best I've had. They have good prices although the portions were small! And the red Salsa was expired

It is a small place but the food is very good! Real Mexican food, none of the Tex mex stuff. I do recommend.

First time in Pasadena and we're looking for good local food. Don'Key was raved about in a few…read morearticles about local restaurants so we decided to give them a try. First off, place looks amazing. A down home joint. Tina, our server, was excellent. Water was always full, attentive but not overbearing. Wonderful lady. But the food! OMG! This place is heaven! Tamales are so flavorful and the chili sauce is tasty. The chalupas were delicious as well. We're going to be back-we HAVE TO! That drive from Georgetown will be worth it.

I have always loved this restaurant. So I was very surprised when on July 1st between 2pm and 3pm…read morewe went in to have a late lunch. The male host that seated us, didnt say hello welcome or anything, he actually picked up the menus and started walking, we followed assuming he was seating us.. since we were the only ones next. He lead us to an area to the left straight back behind the hostess area. He didnt speak and just put our menus down on a table and kept walking to further back into that area.. My daughter says is this our table? and he just glanced and nodded... what was that? We sat there for a while.. feeling so strange. This has never happened before. Usually the female hostess greets us we get seated and we are handed our venues after we are seated and we are told your server will be right with you. Needless to say we left. We did not feel like eating there anymore. You all may not worry about our little $50 Lunch.. ( thats how much we usually spend if not more)but if any other customers feel the same way after encountering that male host.. you will be seeing more customers walking out.

Not to mention, the salsas were incredible. Three different salsas, all with a little kick, but truly so delicious for very reasonable prices. The owner came out, greeted us, answered our questions about the menu, and the food came out very quickly. While this is more of a no-frills location with not much decoration, the food and value makes this easily a 5 star review for me. Can't recommend highly enough if you are looking for authentic Mexican food.

It's a small place, so it's not ideal for large gatherings and they're easy to miss. El Tostaco Regio does not serve typical Mexican cuisine. Their food is what you would find served on the streets of Mexico. So there's no refried beans, rice or a queso plate here. Most of their dishes comes with beans and a cup of broth. Their food is served fresh, but messy. Everything they make is packed with flavor, but not overpowered by spices. The tables have three complimentary sauces you can try with your dishes. If your other party is not in the mood for Mexican, El Tostaco Regio also have burgers and baked potatoes. Their menu is bilingual, thankfully. The staff are patient and kind. Prices are affordable. I will say that their AC system could've been better, considering we're in Summer now. They only have only bathroom. Aside from a TV playing Latino music, there's no decor inside at all. My major issue is that El Tostaco Regio is NOT wheelchair accessible. That's completely unacceptable!
