One of my fav lunch spots. The nachos Mexicanos is sooooo good. Big enough to share. The chips are fried fresh so the toppings don't make them soggy. Service is speedy and I often will do a call in order and take to go. There is limited seating and parking but there is space to eat inside. I found myself in Pasadena for a month and was desperately craving tacos for lunch. After a quick Yelp search, I found a spot that was 5 minutes away and decided to try it. Refrequeria Las Fuentes was a great choice and I'm glad I had such a strong craving that day, as I had a chance to try this spot! It's a pretty small restaurant and has a lot of different snack and more substantial meal offerings. I decided to try their corn tortilla tacos, 5 for only $7! They have many different meat and veggie offerings listed on the side of the restaurant. I didn't see the list so I just asked for 5 different meats and didn't specify which kinds. They came out pretty quickly with covered foil on a plate which I took back to my workplace breakroom. The tacos came with onions and cilantro, but you can specify if you don't want those toppings. I loved the green salsa they provided and the meats were absolutely delicious. I devoured the tacos quickly and felt pretty full afterwards, so they were definitely enough food for a full lunch! I did have to chug water throughout the day afterwards as they were quite salty, but I would definitely do it again if I were in Pasadena again. I love the woman who answers the phone to take my order. She's so lovely to speak to, on the phone and in person. Las Fuentes has the best breakfast tacos. Las de huevo a la mexicana are my favorite!!! They always ask if I want beans and queso on the taco too (i always say yes LOL). I don't know if they make them with extra love or what, but they're so delicious, I savor every bite. The green salsa isn't spicy but it has amazing flavor too. Regardless of the limited parking, I can always find a spot to squeeze into Honorable mention to their mango smoothies. I love them!! read more

I absolutely love Las Fuentes its my favorite snack place since it's close to my school I can easily walk down the road after school and get a delicious Mangonada and Hot Cheetos with cheese . The service there is great no long lines or waiting periods for my order which is always wonderful because no one likes waiting in line. This place is really good, their breakfast menu actually reminds me a lot of my time living in Mexico. The food is definitely authentic. My coworkers and I frequent this place a lot. Sometimes it's embarrassing how many times I eat tacos in a week. I've tried a handful of items, but usually stick with the plain beef tacos. Just a corn tortilla, mean, onions, and cilantro. They give you a lime wedge and a side of green sauce. It's my favorite inexpensive, but super tasty lunch (I order 2 for about $2.50 total). I've also had the gordita and some of the drinks (horchata and the mango drink). ALl really good as well. Service is slightly slow if you're in a hurry, but I'm not really in a hurry so it doesn't bother me. You can call ahead if you need to. read more

I've been coming here since this place first opened, and when I moved away to Austin it was all I could think about on those hot summer days. This place offers the best tasting treats and eats of both a refresqueria and taqueria! And the do it with a joyful smile! My favorite are their vasos de elote or corn in a cup for you folks who don't speak spanish! They do more than just heating up canned corn and slapping mayo n cheese on with chile.. naw naw naw..they go all out and use the best shredded cheeses and crema and top it with lime juice which in my opinion just sets it off!! And their mangonadas and trolebuses are just heaven in a cup! When you want to cool off, get one. Best money you will ever spend! Their tortas too are frikkin amazing! This use to be my favorite hotspot. The best mangonadas the best little tacos but it's really kinda gone down hill. I've tried the tostadas twice in last 3 days and well, they were not great at all. I think it's due to the beef fajita meat I think I'm ordering. I believe it's more something else (no idea what) than it is fajitas. If you're in a rush and don't mind waiting forever do not go here.
