This business has a Groupon as "Refresh LA" for Aquashape Lipo with skin tightening/renuvion one area or two $600/$1000. The information on the Groupon is inaccurate/about lymphatic massage. Already knowing about the procedure (renuvion) I called for specifics (how large is an area etc.) who is NOT a candidate and gave a quick rundown of my health history. I was told to come in for a consult. At the consult the practioner was focused on selling me. Not wanting to waste my time or theirs I again asked - "how large is an area/what does the Groupon cover, are their additional costs?" So the doctor came in and told me uncover the area without offering a gown or privacy and was very unprofessional. After looking me over he simply said he could do it regardless of my health history. He left. The practitioner who was in the room then quoted ALMOST $7,000 without a private conversation with the doctor! So, the procedure costs $7k?!?! She did NOT answer any of the questions regarding the Groupon simply stated the value of the treatment - and for the record I didn't even want the lipo portion. I am disgusted that I was treated without any regard, shared sensitive medical information, was vulnerable etc. only to feel like the Groupon was nothing more than bait to get me in the door and waste my time trying to sell me for at a minimum more than seven times the price. Why TF would I spend that kind of money with a surgeon who needs to bait folks to get them in the door? I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. read more

"A Misunderstanding" Even now, I still don't understand how there could be a misunderstanding. My question during the first day of consultation was very simple. "Would you be able to remove the mole?" Dr. Vigilia's answer: "Yes." "How many sessions would it take?" "One session." So it really doesn't make sense how there could be a misunderstanding from that. What does make sense is Dr. Vigilia wants your money. He will do the mole removal, charge you big money (though he doesn't think $300 is large because he's rich), he will tell you to come back for a follow-up, and if the mole doesn't peel off after two weeks, he will stall and tell you to give it another month. Then after a month and a half later, he will finally say there was no way the mole could have been removed after all because "it's too deep." "Well, I wish you could have told me that in the first place." "There was no way of knowing." "But I asked you twice about it during the free consultation. You said it would take one session and that it would peel off." "There was a misunderstanding." Fine, a misunderstanding. Not so much a misunderstanding as you were misleading. And yes, please show me again the pictures from your cellphone who were "satisfied" with their mole removal results. Tell me that $300 is actually not a lot because you had a client who paid $6,000 for a botched mole removal, so I should be satisfied with mine and be more appreciative about it. That even though our agreement was for a mole removal, I should be satisfied instead with a slightly smaller mole that my mother thinks looks the same as before. Now after a month and a half later, Dr. Vigilia tells me there's absolutely no way of removing this mole. Not laser surgery, not cauterization, nothing. That I should simply learn to live with it. I wish he could have told me that in the first place. But no, he wanted to make money. It's business. In the end, I'm $300 poorer with a slightly smaller mole. And I get to write about it on Yelp. So my advice to people reading about this, be careful of charismatic doctors who promotes treatments and then later denies and just calls it a misunderstanding. Question the doctor's integrity and credibility, and his unethical practice of business as I learned personally from this recent experience. Better go to a different doctor. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I had some concerns about a procedure (first time at this clinic) and reached out. Dr. Larry did get back to me but was driving, he said, and couldn't really talk. The day of the PDO appointment I again asked about the procedure and felt I was treated extremely rudely and impatiently. I agreed that while he couldn't "guarantee" anything I still needed to know a little bit more before we started and that if it went well I'd like to do more procedures for other issues.
