Dr. Rahimi took the time to thoroughly explain my skin concerns, answer all of my questions, and develop a treatment plan that made me feel confident and comfortable. His expertise, attention to detail, and genuine care are second to none. The office staff is also friendly, efficient, and welcoming, making every visit a pleasant experience. Thanks to Dr. Rahimi, my skin has improved significantly, and I couldn't be happier with the results. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, trustworthy, and compassionate skin doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Rahimi. Thank you for providing such exceptional care!

I was honestly surprised because I've had similar issues in the past that led to ER visits, painful procedures, and unsightly scars. Dr. Rahimi is extremely knowledgeable, gentle, and very conservative in his approach, which I really appreciate. When I ask about different treatments or procedures, he takes the time to explain everything clearly and will even tell me no if something isn't the right choice -- which shows how much he prioritizes patient care over unnecessary treatments. He's also very thoughtful about different skin types and ethnic considerations, which is important to me. As a clinician myself, I'm very selective about the providers I trust, especially with my face, and Dr. Rahimi is one of only two dermatologists I would confidently recommend. His bedside manner is calm and reassuring, and the clinic always feels welcoming -- never rushed or impersonal. I'm really glad I found Dr. Rahimi after moving to LA and look forward to continuing my care with him for years to come. Thank you to Dr. Rahimi and the entire clinic staff for the exceptional care!

I believe Jamie especially has repeatedly shown BAD-FAITH,…read moreUNETHICAL, DECEPTIVE, MANIPULATIVE, MISLEADING and COERCIVE conduct and tactics that are primarily focused on keeping your money and not refunding you for what I consider a botched cosmetic result - instead of focusing on transparency as well as patient's health and well-being. They also violate boundaries. Dr. Ahdout gave me her word that Jamie would not contact me further. Yet, Jamie contacted me despite my numerous written and verbal requests to cease contact. I believe I may be able to file a police report for harassment. I believe Jamie even went as far as providing DECEPTIVE MISINFORMATION about matters that can affect health in further attempts to not refund me. I believe this is highly unethical and concerning conduct especially for a dermatologist office. I am posting this review after multiple attempts to resolve this matter. I left a message and sent emails the first time and I did not receive a call from Dr. Ahdout. The same thing happened a second time. I posted a review the first time and Jamie called right away so I removed it. When I went in to show Dr. Ahdout the result of her work - at first I felt completely gaslit because she was questioning me as to why she would do a job like this. I was surprised. She again asked this on the phone yesterday as why this happened - a question she herself should answer. She then said there are no before and after photos. I reminded her AGAIN that I have before photos on my phone that her own assistant took. Dr. Ahdout then asked if I would agree to a credit. I declined. Dr. Ahdout then said that The Roxbury Institute has a "policy" that once a patient asks for a refund they can't return to the office. I informed her that I would not want to work with a business that has punitive policies. I believe both her conduct and Jamie's conduct revolved mainly around keeping my money. When I first brought up the refund, Jamie immediately became aggressive on the phone and used what felt like patronizing repetition. She kept repeating my name aggressively as soon as I mentioned a refund, which felt like an attempt to cut me off and stop me from saying what I needed to say. Jamie even went as far suggesting to me that the tightness was "normal". She even pointed to her face claiming that she felt the same. I knew the tightness was not normal. When I asked Dr. Ahdout, she also confirmed that it was not normal. I do not appreciate being gaslighted or having my concerns normalized as though this is something I should simply tolerate. This involves health and providing misinformation to patients that can have great liability. Jamie also asked if I would want to do a correction. I declined. I noted in my review and also in an email I forwarded to Dr. Ahdout's new email address as well as during her call yesterday that I do not want to interact with Jamie at all. Dr. Ahdout GAVE ME HER WORD that she will call me back herself. Dr. Ahdout did NOT keep her word. Instead Jamie called and went back and forth attempting to claim that it wasn't 2 items I purchased and it was 1.5. She said Dr. Ahdout said there was "a confusion" and it was 1.5 items. I informed her that's false. Besides Dr. Ahdout's own confirmations - the invoice is more than clear. I explained, again, that Dr. Ahdout confirmed with me TWICE, once in person and again on the phone yesterday, that it was 2 items. Jamie went back and forth for at least 10 minutes arguing. I kept asking her to ask Dr. Ahdout. She refused 3 times and continued to argue. I kept mentioning what I paid for. She finally checked my invoice although she had ALREADY SEEN my invoice as she is the one who charged me AND even emailed it to me. She FINALLY agreed it was 2 items. I believe these practices are EXTREMELY CHEAP and DECEPTIVE. Then Jamie said their "corporate" is going to send me an email to sign "a form". I told her I'm not signing a release form as I need to see another doctor. Patients should not be forced to sign a release form to receive a refund. Jamie said their corporate "requires" this and that they will contact me. AGAIN, she displayed a pattern of violating clear boundaries and as soon as I would say their corporate did not have my consent to contact me - she would BLATANTLY REPEAT they will contact me. I informed her that at this point I have to do a full chargeback on the 2 items. I contacted my bank and did a full chargeback on the agreed upon amount. If they create ANY extra emotional distress and dispute the chargeback - I will immediately involve my counsel without further notice and use ALL legal remedies to not only obtain my money in full, but to also hold them fully liable for all damages including corrections needed and the emotional distress caused related to this matter and their conduct. I will also expand my online review to Google and other platforms as I see fit.

Honestly, that's why I trusted him. I spent that year on topical finasteride and minoxidil, and dermastamping multiple times a week, slowly improving donor quality until he felt I could proceed--with realistic expectations. The procedure itself was incredibly smooth. Zero pain with conscious sedation, and he personally performed all extractions and site creation, which I think really matters. This isn't about achieving perfect density. It's about using limited grafts thoughtfully to create a natural frame for the face. From where I started, this result is beyond anything I expected, and we're already planning a second session to build density. Biggest takeaways: candidacy matters, expectations matter even more, and finding an honest surgeon who thinks like an artist is everything.

I have been to a few other dermatology locations and dealt with other dermatologists in the past - none of them helped with getting my rashes and acne taken care of. However, I found Metropolis Dermatology a few years ago and as soon as my first appointment ended I knew that this place was going to be very helpful. The facility is clean, the receptionists are kind, and the dermatologist know what they are talking about. For me specifically, Dr. Janice Ma has been amazing. She is so kind, talented, knowledgeable and most of all caring. She helped me with all my skin and rash issues so well. My skin is clearer than ever and I couldn't be happier! She did so well that I recommended her to a colleague of mine and my colleague said the exact same thing - she is the best! Can't recommend this place (and all their knowledgeable dermatologists) enough!

I asked my primary doctor about the same medication and only paid around $10 for the exact same prescription. I later received multiple messages from Metropolitan dermatology, claiming that I owed a balance for Botox and fillers. A service which I never requested or received. It has now been three years later, I have never gone back and yet the business is still claiming that I have an outstanding balance for an alleged filler appointment. It should also be noted that the company failed to provide me with an itemized receipt or proof of service. Although the doctor was friendly upon my visit, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere due to the inflamed prices and lack of proper communication and documentation.

I do appreciate that he took the time to listen, and the conversation itself was positive. Shortly after, my prescription was finally processed, and I received it on 5/1/26. It was also refilled for future use, which I'm thankful for. However, it took nearly two months to straighten everything out before I was finally able to receive my prescription. However, the overall experience still leaves me genuinely concerned. It took me being unusually persistent and more forceful than I'm comfortable with just to get a response from the office, pharmacy, and insurance. That shouldn't be necessary for a patient trying to manage their healthcare. More importantly, this situation caused me a great deal of stress and anxiety and has negatively impacted my health. I already deal with high blood pressure, and this experience elevated it further, which is both troubling and unacceptable when seeking medical care. At this time, I'm giving a 3-star rating in recognition of the effort Dr. Tomasian made to personally address the situation. I may update this after future visits. I sincerely hope his office improves how they handle patient communication and follow-through so that no other patient has to go through a similar experience.
