My experience with Refresh Computers is 100% positive, I bought a Sony Vario laptop in 2010 and switched in 2012 since then I purchased a 15 inch MacBook Pro, a 27 inch Apple Display with Thunderbolt connection for my 13 inch MacBook Air and a 24 inch Apple Cinema display for the Macbook Pro and a few other Apple pdts. If you are looking for quality at fantastic prices this is your place. If you want quality used Apple Pdts there are few options in Central Florida and the competition in Tampa is much more expensive and far to go if you have a question that needs face to face or a warranty issue. I purchased the one year warranty for the MacBook Pro very reasonable and it came with a full year standard. I purchased the one year warranty for the two displays and 90 days came standard. Pay for it on American Express and you get an additional years coverage. Keep in mind these computers come from business's schools ect, they are not private purchase trade-ins. What I found is very good to good equipment, up to date, fully functional​ and Refresh Computers stands behind their sale, so you never have to worry. They are completely fair in their business practice. An exceptional person to talk to while you are there is Kacper he will take care of you very well, when I need something handled, he's my go to guy. We are senior citizens and not technically computer savvy. Each time we have a problem with our Hewlitt Packard computer and printer we contact Refresh Computers. They have never let us down. We trust them completely with information on our computer. Their technicians are courteous, friendly and don't "talk down" to us. I had the need to purchase a laptop for a family member. The needs for this family member were specific. I didn't want to spend my time shopping at big box stores or order from an unknown yet popular manufacturer. Using a popular search engine, I also used Facebook and Yelp to sort out several options - Refresh Computers was my choice. I called and spoke with Andre, I provided him with my specific requirements. Andre offered me several options and helped to guide me to my final decision. My purchase was made on a Saturday afternoon and my laptop was on my doorstep on Tuesday morning and up and running by noon on the same day. Because I live at least 80 miles from Refresh Computers and Electronics, I opted to complete this transaction over the phone. However, I would not hesitate to visit the store location. Bad experience on all levels. We dropped off my boyfriends laptop for virus removal on a Friday morning and were told it would be ready by Tuesday at the latest. Come Tuesday afternoon, he called to check the status, and it had been ready all along, but no one called to inform us. They didn't give him the power cord to the laptop, which required an extra trip back. The laptop is running worse than ever, they clearly did not fix the problem. It's as though they misunderstood our request and added Malware instead of removing it. We also previously purchased a laptop from this store that didn't even last a year; gave them the benefit of the doubt that this was an isolated fluke. So much for return customer service. Won't bring any of our electronics back here. read more

I did not have a good experience. I would not go again. I would not even recommend to an enemy. I feel lucky to have escaped with my computer. I had heard the company advertised many times on radio and was taken in by the repeat radio commercials. I arrived and discovered a place that was run in chaos from the customer side. I had a hard disk and windows 10 installed and a wi-fi card that ended up not working installed. I had asked to have my data saved from my crashed disk. But that wasn't taken seriously. When I went to pick the computer up and asked about the data not being saved the person waiting on me just gave me my crashed disk and unbelievably said, "Well you still have it." I guess I was suppose to frame it or place it in storage. So I left with my crashed disk in hand no bag to put it in or little box or anything. (Goodbye). No concern about my not getting what I had asked for. (2) When I got home I found Windows 10 had not been set up. So I went back for them to install it. They did. It took a little time for that to be done. (3) A technician had called before I picked the computer up and told me my wi-fi card was bad and if I wanted one installed I told him yes. Not being able to operate wireless was a concern. I actually had explained to him what the problem was. (4) The wi-fi card didn't solve the problem. So when I took it back to have windows installed they also tried to resolve the problem with the wi-fi card but after about 40 minutes of tinkering I was told I needed to leave the computer for them to fix it. (5) I opted for having them remove the wi-fi card and getting my money back. The person who was in charge was hostile about it. (6) Even though a technician had spoken to him about it, he decided to interrogate me about what was wrong. If my motor crashes on my car I couldn't tell you what's wrong with it. If the mechanic has worked on it and he can't fix it, why would you ask me what's wrong with it? (7) My disk drive didn't work but I was told the first day, there was nothing wrong with my disk drive. (8) Remember, insertion of a DVD is what crashed my hard drive? (9) (a) I didn't get disk drive replaced/repaired (b) no Wi-Fi ability. they returned it to me after replacing the wi-fi card and not checking to see the wi-fi was not working (c) Windows 10 wasn't installed, had to go back for that (d) never tried to save my data (e) irreverant and hostile (manager and person checking me out on my initial pick-up). Chaotic, don't listen, and snarky environment. Would not go back, Would not recommend. Big waste of my time. read more

Slow or no customer service... The repairs are sound but they keep their clientele under informed when it comes to the timeliness of repairs! Repair delayed due to part not arriving resulted in a time crunch for me that could have easily need avoided with a phone call telling me the part was delayed. read more
