Front of the theater still says Festival Cinemas

I love Regal, I am a Regal member, visiting in tow I decided to watch the 25th anniversary of Lord of the Rings, entering the theater I noticed it's outdated look almost like a blast from the past, but it did have its charm, the workers were very nice, specifically Morgan. Regal has been renovating theaters and this one needs an upgrade, help them out Regal! I had a great experience.

Had a great time seeing Barbie, yesterday afternoon. What a fun romp and Ryan Gosling is a hoot! Of course the beautiful Margot Robbie is THE perfect Barbie. We went early at 11 a.m. Just a dozen or so of us at this screening. The theatre was clean, quiet and there were no lines (Wednesday). We ordered a small Pepsi and with our tickets spent less than $20. A good deal when you enjoy the movie! A small popcorn is $8+. Concessionaires we're polite and efficient. Bathrooms, very clean and well supplied. Great afternoon entertainment!

Long dog, but crusty hard bun.

Lately, when I am in the area, I stop here to get a large popcorn and the refill all at one time without seeing a movie. I usually try to get a hotdog as well, but sometimes they don't have any ready. Great popcorn, sodas are OK, but they switched to Pepsi products so I don't like them as much as when they were Coca-Cola. As you can see from the pic their hotdog leaves much to be desired. I like that they are long, but the buns are so hard. They have heated them in the microwave and then they get all hard and crusty when they cool off. I will still come here for popcorn, but not a hotdog. I haven't been here in a while for a movie. Oh, they also shut down their old points card in favor of some sort of online system, perhaps it is an app. I should load it because then I could still earn points when I purchase the popcorn. Another weird thing is that they don't do phone pay, you have to use your credit card.

A thumbnail related to the movie

Title: "A Not-So-Quiet Disaster: My Frustrating Experience with 'A Quiet Place: Day One'" Rating: (1 out of 5 stars) I've been eagerly anticipating the release of "A Quiet Place: Day One" ever since I saw the trailer. The premise of exploring the initial chaos of the alien invasion that set the stage for the original films had me on the edge of my seat. So, when I finally found a gap in my hectic work and school schedule, I decided to use my long-dormant Regal Unlimited membership to catch a showing. Little did I know that my excitement would quickly turn to disappointment and frustration. As soon as I settled into my seat, popcorn in hand and ready for an evening of suspenseful entertainment, the unthinkable happened - the entire theater went dark. And I don't mean the usual dimming of lights before a movie starts. No, this was a complete power outage that plunged the cinema into total darkness. At first, we all thought it was part of some immersive pre-show experience. After all, the movie is about a world where making noise can get you killed, right? But as minutes ticked by and theater staff started fumbling around with flashlights, it became clear that this was no planned event. Here's where things get even more bizarre. As we were being ushered out of the theater, I overheard some staff members whispering about a "sabotage." Apparently, someone had deliberately cut the power to the entire cinema complex. The police were already on their way, and from what I gathered, this wasn't an isolated incident. It turns out that a group of misguided "silent cinema enthusiasts" had taken it upon themselves to "enhance" the viewing experience of "A Quiet Place: Day One." Their twisted logic? By cutting the power, they believed they were creating the perfect, noise-free environment to watch the film. Of course, they failed to realize that without electricity, there would be no movie at all. The police investigation revealed a meticulously planned operation. These "enthusiasts" had studied the theater's electrical system for weeks, identifying the perfect moment to strike. They even left behind a manifesto of sorts, arguing for the return of silent films and denouncing modern cinema's reliance on sound. It was a surreal turn of events that felt like it could have been part of the movie's plot - if we had actually gotten to see it. While I appreciate dedication to art, this level of misguided fanaticism is both dangerous and inconsiderate. Not only did it ruin the evening for everyone in the theater, but it also caused significant financial damage to the cinema and disrupted the schedules of hundreds of moviegoers. As for me, this experience was the final straw in a series of unfortunate attempts to enjoy a night at the movies. Over the past few months, every time I've tried to use my Regal Unlimited membership, something has gone wrong. From sold-out showings to unexpected theater closures for renovations, it seemed like the universe was conspiring against my movie-watching plans. I had such high hopes when I finally managed to carve out time from my packed schedule to see "A Quiet Place: Day One." After months of not being able to use my subscription due to work and school commitments, this was supposed to be my triumphant return to cinema. Instead, it turned into yet another disappointment. Now, faced with the reality of my demanding schedule, I realize that I probably won't have another chance to see this movie in theaters. The window of opportunity is closing fast, and with my luck, I'd probably end up in another sabotaged showing anyway. I understand that the power outage and the bizarre circumstances surrounding it aren't directly the fault of the movie or even the theater chain. However, as a paying customer who has faced numerous obstacles in trying to enjoy the services I'm paying for, I can't help but feel frustrated and let down. The one-star rating I'm giving isn't for the movie itself - which I still haven't seen - but for the entire experience and the culmination of repeated disappointments. It's a reflection of my frustration with the theater-going experience as a whole, which seems to have become increasingly unreliable and prone to unforeseen issues. To the creators of "A Quiet Place: Day One," I apologize that I couldn't experience your work as intended. To Regal Cinemas, I implore you to take a serious look at improving the reliability of your services and the security of your venues. And to my fellow moviegoers, beware of overzealous silent film enthusiasts with electrical engineering skills - they might just pull the plug on your evening plans. In conclusion, while I can't comment on the quality of "A Quiet Place: Day One," I can say that my attempt to watch it was anything but a quiet, enjoyable experience. It was a loud, chaotic reminder of why sometimes, it's just easier to stay home and stream.

Previews, half Fruit Punch/Lemonade, and a good seat to kick back my feet

It's been a while since I've gone to the theatres and I heard the seats were redone and we had to check it out! Shoutout to Audrey for being very awesome and helpful! We accidentally booked tickets for the wrong theatre and she made the stressful situation much easier to take care of!! The rest of the staff was very kind too. Will definitely come back sooner than I thought!

Absolute bummer that you have to select a seat before you enter the theater. Are they trying to drive away customers at this point?

I brought my 4-year-old son to see Toy Story 5. While carrying him from the concession stand, he accidentally dropped his hot dog bun onto the ground before we could even make it back to our car. When I went back inside to request a replacement bun, an employee nepotistic "grandchild" named Brian informed me that I would be charged for it again. When I questioned being charged for just a bun under the circumstances, Brian became visibly hostile. He complained that he "did not like that I expected it for free." He then stated he would issue a refund instead, explicitly saying he was doing so because he "didn't like that I expected something." This logic made absolutely no sense. I pointed out how counterproductive it was to issue a full refund just so I could immediately repurchase the item, especially while my son was crying in the car waiting for his food. Brian forced the refund through anyway and made me repurchase the item. To make matters worse, when I asked for the name of his grandfather "manager"so I could report the incident, Brian flatly refused to give it to me. This is why, sometimes family isn't the best way forward when filling critical roles within companies, especially the customer facing ones.

We brought two of our folding cars and foldable table that we used for our snacks and drinks. We also brought an older FM radio that we had so that we didn't have to use the cars. We enjoyed a soft drink, two pretzels, ice cream sandwich, and some popcorn. We also took our dog which more than a few people did as well. The whole atmosphere is very family friendly, and we would definitely come back here if something we want to see is playing.
