Memorial Day 2026. The Mandalorian. No more ticket window up front. You must buy movie tickets at the refreshment counter and it takes awhile as everyone is ordering food and drink as well. There's no Express, just movie tickets area. Not efficient. We got our tickets 5, and went to theater 3, recliner seats The new seats are fantastic! Power recliners. I hope they hold up well I'm not a fan of the movie we saw and it was kinda long. 2 hrs 12 min. But it was a family movie day so most of us went as a group. The theater itself. Women's bathroom had 2 empty towel dispensers. When o stopped in again the movie they had set 1 roll of towels on the counter. No idea why the theater had no towels early on the day at first showing. I noticed the walls by the bathrooms entrances were bashed up like someone kicked and broke the drywall. So it looks poorly maintained. Overall I was very happy with the new recliner chairs so I would be happy going here instead of Atascadero where I have gone for about 30 plus years. Atascadero has a much larger, nicer lobby with dedicated inside ticket windows. The hallways by the theaters are larger than Paso. At Paso when movie ended it's very congested and small hallway where everyone is trying to get into the bathrooms and a row of trash cans there also takes space. Paso is just too small in lobby and hallway areas but nothing can be done about this. read more

I love the reclining seats. The chair is wide and reclines almost to a laying down position. I love the pizza they offer, as well as beer and wine choices. The kids box came with a Mario cup, snack choice, and popcorn for $9.50. Staff is friendly and kind, even on a busy Friday. The decor for the opening of Mario made it extra special and fun. They even had a Photo Booth stand you can get a picture with and texted to yourself. It's always a great time getting out and having a special movie night. read more

There's a certain nostalgia going to the movies and I'm glad Paso Robles has a movie theater downtown. It's relatively clean and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately you do get the occasional knucklehead that watches videos on their phone during the movie(?). There was a long line to get in. May I suggest an express line, for those that do not want concessions, to get people in faster? Matinees are also a good deal! read more

Located downtown near the center square park, it's got small town Paso Robles written all over it. No cray cray, it's relaxed, and easy. Prices for the actual movie and concession stands are the typical expensive prices, but they do offer wine and beer (if you need to keep it going from all local fare all around). We walked into the theater literally 15 minutes before the movie was scheduled to start. It was dark and you could tell it hadn't been cleaned yet. No biggie maybe they forgot. Then the house lights turned on and what seemed to be the owner or manager walked in. Visibly irritated we were there proceeds to tell us the theater hadn't been cleaned yet so she would be sweeping around us. Great. Not too excited about dust and dirt being kicked up on our popcorn but whatever we can be agreeable. What got us was her attitude towards the next people that came in. First an elderly couple that she told to wait outside. Then a group of ladies that she allowed in but told them the theater wasn't cleaned yet so she would be cleaning around them......ok cool. Until her next comment "next time we ask that you wait outside." Ok, the door was wide open, some lights were on although it was dark, there was no sign indicating people should wait. It seemed open and ready to go. This same woman was on her cell phone laughing it up when we were getting popcorn not in a hurry at all. Again this was 15 minutes before the movie started. Next time, we ask that you clean the theater earlier than you did. Oh also the trash cans, three large cans, outside the theater were overflowing before we even started our movie so we ask that you dump them out once in awhile. Thanks. read more

The only reason for one star was they at least had very comfortable seats. But otherwise what an absolute dive. It's filthy dirty on the inside and don't even ask about the bathrooms.... It was like outdoor portable toilets, how dirty it was and ran down. The movie was the poorest quality I've ever seen, very dull, as if it was a 1950's film. The food is gross and popcorn was chewy and old, this was a 7pm showing too.... Popcorn should have been fresh. Minimal selection as well and the Pepsi was diluted so much you didn't know what it was. Honestly they done even deserve one star. read more

This is a bit of an overdue review since we came on Christmas Day in 2024. Me and the hubby bought tickets earlier in the week for the Mufasa movie for around 7pm. We parked right across the street and walked right in. Maybe because of the holiday it wasn't many staff working but no one checked our tickets . I can see this going one of two ways: 1) we don't have to purchase tickets, we could have saved money, but also anyone could have just walked in, which isn't safe either. So just something to be aware of. The movie and quality itself were great and the seats although older were in good condition. read more

Our Organization had the pleasure of working with Jennifer at Park Cinema's in Paso Robles. We hosted a film that required coordination from the theater, our group and another non- profit group. Jennifer coordinated it all perfectly, got our movie up on her (Park Cinema) site and handled ticket sales for the Event. Everything Jennifer laid out to us was exactly how the event went, we flew the producer in from New York for the showing and ALL turned out exactly how planned. Terrific movie theater in the heart of Paso Robles. We moved here from Los Angeles and I've been here now for a few years already and never really thought to go see a movie in a theater. I really wanted to see "song sung blue" and it was showing at the Park Cinemas, so we bought a couple tickets online and went. I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful, clean, spacious and comfortable these theaters are. Our seats rocked and reclined, and the place is much larger inside than it looks like from the street. Being in wine country, they even had a nice little wine bar concession if you're in the mood. They've also got some kind of a five dollar special on Tuesdays I believe, but besides that, the theater's very nice. Go out and see a movie! read more

Popcorn and Butter is cold...asked for more...was still cold. Hot dogs were cold. Not the workers fault, seems like the owner needs to step it up and not charge so much for poor quality items that are basic movie theater staples. Love this cinema in downtown Paso Robles! Location is perfect as it's right by lots of restaurants and the Paso Robles park so you can walk around before or after seeing a movie. They have luxury recliners which is a huge plus as I won't go to a movie theater unless they have recliners, versus stadium seating. Another bonus is that they sell local wine and beer so you can grab a snack/popcorn and a beverage! The service is always exemplary, probably one of the best I have experienced at a movie theater. They have a younger staff working here, like any typical movie theater, but everyone is so nice and helpful. I have seen quite a few movies here, most recently I saw Dune, and I always have a wonderful experience. Five stars in my book! read more

I saw a review that was overall very positive but said that the teenage employees were the typical want to be anywhere else but there. I disagree. I'm in my 60s so I'm very familiar with kids that Just want to do the bare minimum and are uncomfortable dealing with people older than themselves that's not this group they engage. They often actually ask me what I thought of the movie afterwards. May give me tips beforehand if they're not really busy and they genuinely make the effort to connect and be pleasant. Maybe the reviewer caught someone who was very new or tired or just feeling a little shy. I don't know. But let me know what you think. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. read more

Park Cinemas is the only theater here in Paso. I've watched a couple of movies in here when I would stay the night in town. There's a ticket window outside but the past couple of visits they've had me go inside to purchase my ticket. In all fairness I've only been here in the middle of the week so it's been very calm and I get my pick of seats. The concessions are good, they have a lot of different flavored popcorn flavorings so that's always a treat to try a different mix each time. The team that works here has always been very nice and hospitable. The auditorium themselves are pretty nice. It's fairly standard seating and it's comfortable. Nothing out of the ordinary here. All in all it's always a good movie watching experience coming here. The theater is well air conditioned which is great on these hot days that Paso is known for. Parking: there's lots of street parking throughout but sometimes it can be tough to find spots when it's a popular meal time with so many things going on in the area. Keep in mind there's meters during certain times of the day so be sure to follow the signs. read more

Haven't been to the movies in quite a while, but had to see Dune: Part 2 in the theater. Let me say, it was a great experience from the moment we walked in the door. We checked in at concessions, got our tickets, and snacks. I didn't get the young ladies name, but she was very personable, and provided excellent customer service. The recliner seats were very comfortable in theater 7, and the sound was awesome. For a small town theater I give them an A+!! We will definitely be back! read more

We had a really good night seeing a movie at this theater. We saw the Woman King, which was a really remarkably beautiful movie. I hope it wins Best Picture at this year's Academy Awards. Anyway, the theater has a great location in Downtown Paso Robles. The seats aren't very comfortable though. That is my only critique. I would return for another movie though. read more

I am a movie junkie. I want to see almost every movie that is out and I am constantly looking at what is playing. So with that, I go here a lot. Most of the time I bring my children and what I love about this theater is that ages four and under are free!!! (unlike the movie theater in Atascadero). It's always the same friendly workers that never mind getting you extra boxes for popcorn so that you could split up the popcorn for the little ones and get your refill without being interrupted during the movie (because who wants to walk out in the middle of a movie that you've paid for and have not seen). The popcorn has season stations so that you can add extra flavors. They also sell a kids combo snack package which is a great price. The only thing I'd like to see is maybe discount Tuesdays/ or Thursdays... read more

Seriously, it's the movies. As long as there's surround sound who cares about the rest. They're popcorn is light years better than the Atascadero theatre. And now Paso has upgraded their seats. Came Tuesday, Sept 7th to watch the Paw Patrol 8:30pm showing with my son. I LOVE supporting privately-owned local businesses and the young lady tending the concession stand was very sweet and nice to us. For another other big-name movie theater, I wouldn't have minded sneaking in snacks from outside since movie theaters have ridiculous snack pricing (Like gas stations, It's where most of their money comes from) but not in this case. I want to support them as I know how difficult Covid has been for all small businesses that barely survived. So we got icees, snacks and popcorn. Yeah, you could go to the big-name movie theaters, but this place looks to be a staple in Paso Robles downtown and I, for one, am tired of seeing small businesses close. Nice local cinema. Went for the first time in ages due to Covid to watch "Nobody". Such a shame to see them at around 20% capacity. Love supporting these small businesses. Comfy seats and obviously spaced out. The guys behind the counter were very friendly and the quality of the film was great. 7.1 Dolby. Small screens, typical seats, good sound system, okay popcorn but with free seasoning!

I have been coming here since this theater opened on December 19th, 1997. I have always been happy with all my movie experiences here. From seeing Titanic 7 times here to the latest Marvel movie...... It's always a good experience. I have never had an issue with buying tickets or finding seats. Only 1 time when Star Wars the force awakens did they help seat us. And that was the rare occasion when it was absolutely necessary. The only thing after all these years now is that the seats could use replacing in some of the theaters. The sound is always top notch. It's always in Dolby Digital 7.1. That's definitely something they have kept up on here is the picture and sound quality. And, you don't have 20 minutes of ads and commercials before the movie starts like at the big chain theaters. Well, that's how it used to be. They just started doing ads and trivia about 10 minutes before the movie starts. That happened for the first time to me on April 25th. Yes, the snacks and drinks are expensive. But, nobody is forcing you to buy them either! So, I don't. I'm there for a movie not a meal. But, this is a very good local theater. read more

Was just here. They don't sell hot dogs but suggested the place right next door, the girl said I could "choke o e down" before the show. I said old rather just bring it in. Apparently there is no firm policy, but she still told me no. Just didn't appreciate the "not so friendly" attitude/environment. It was a 4:15 show and hardly any body was there. I was like for real? So I drove there to get the tickets to find that they got rid of the pay outside at the window and then posted on the door that after 2 hours I would have to pay for PASO ROBLES DOWNTOWN PARKING! I love this movie theater!! You will be happily surprised to find all of the latest movies featured and reasonable prices! Coming from LA, the locals should appreciate the prices there! the popcorn is always fresh and hot and I'm always pleasantly surprised to find such a clean theater. My favorite theaters there are the ones with stadium seating. The staff is friendly enough and seem to monitor the theater we are in regularly. Though it was a busy night when we were there, the restrooms seemed pretty clean and after the movie the little town is still hopping with life even though past 10PM. You will be pleasantly surprised just how much you can entertain yourselves in this great little town without getting back in the car. I mean where else are you able to wine taste all along the little square? Go out to dinner, see a movie, have an icecream or an after dinner drink and walk back to your hotel without ever getting back into your car once?! read more

Right downtown by the park. There is not much of a late night in Paso and especially on Sunday so if you are staying here and there is something playing this is a cute place to watch a movie. It is not updated, but an older style theater, still good seats and screen and sound. If you find nothing else and you are tired of drinking wine for the day this might be the place for you. read more

The park cinema which has been completely remodeled and now has beer and wine is certainly the top theater venue in all of San Luis Obispo County. I came here before and it was nothing like it is now. Worth the drive even though I live in San Luis Obispo. Love the recliner chairs. Sound system is over the top. read more
