Professional!! Price is right! Took my 2023 Bronco sport to Regal on 8/21 and it was done in 4 days. The journey was not that easy. Let me start from the beginning....sorry for my wordy review due to my frustrations with my insurance. They're great at charging late fees but not great at paying out claims!!! I called Regal and explained to Jim (owner) what happened. Called my insurance (Travelers) to start the claim and told them the body shop I would like to use. They approved Regal and told my agent to send the check to Regal-not to me. Dropped it off 8/21 and Jim said my EOM part will be in soon. Cool!! I only want OEM part because my car only has 10,000 miles and Jim will only put OEM. I know most insurance will approve after market-it's cheaper. Picked up my rental same day. Kept in touch with Kurt and Jim to see the progress and left the rest to my insurance adjustor. Wrong!! Do not rely on their words!!! My car was done as promised by Regal but Travelers took a long time!!!!! I called my adjustor to let him know my car is ready and Regal is just waiting for the supplement. So, I returned my rental on 8/27 because I did not have rental in my policy. I was told the 1st check was on 8/22-great. The 2nd check was sent 9/4-great! In between these checks, Regal kept me in the loop, they repeatedly called Travelers to send the supplement but for some reason they my adjustor was such a snail. Jim and Kurt felt my frustrations with my adjustor. They did their part, fixed and it looks like nothing happened-flawless! My adjustor kept saying they sent the checks. Today, 9/9 I asked them to email me a copy of the payments (per Jim's advice). Finally, they sent the last check!!!!! Emailed that proof to Regal and I picked up my car. I paid my deductible and took my car home. Yes the final check is on its way and my car is home. No more asking for rides. Regal is the best!!!! Would keep using Regal for my future body repairs. So I got in my first automobile accident at the begging of the year; luckily it wasn't a major accident, but it still felt like something I'll remember forever. I reported it to my insurance, filled a claim, then they told me I could choose the repair shop of my choice and proceed with scheduling the repairs. I looked in my area, found this shop, gave them a call, and they told me they could do the work. I took my vehicle in, and the insurance agreed on the work, and estimate provided by the shop. Initially It was about a $9000 repair and would take about 2-3 weeks to do the work the regal said. I waited about a week and gave the shop a call to get an update, they said they were waiting on the insurance to approve more supplements. Ok. I called 1 or two days later. More supplements. Ok. I called another day or two later. Apparently more supplements. Ok I called a day later, and the same thing, apparently there was so much back and forth between the shop and insurance. I would call the shop they would tell me one thing. I called the insurance they would tell me another thing. This went on for days, even weeks, it got to the point where I was calling everyday for an update. This was SOOOO STRESSFULLL! I thought it would be easy, but I felt like I had to become an expert on vehicle repairs and insurance policy. This became the most STRESSFUL month of my life... Apparently the insurance was not approving all the supplements either because they believed it was excessive, lacked invoices, or some other reason. I tried my best to get my insurance the repairs, but after the 7th or so supplement I was done. I just NEEDED MY CAR BACK! After about 1 MONTH I went in and just agreed to pay whatever was not paid by my insurance. This was over $800 dollars plus my $250 deductible; I ended up paying over $1,000. I was a bit annoyed at my insurance but once I realized they paid over $11,000 themselves I was just grateful for all the work they did approve. I was grateful that shop was able to repair my vehicle, but disappointed in them as well. Especially since the work had been done in the first two weeks, and they made me not only wait, but work everyday basically calling my insurance so they could approve more money. Remember they had me calling them, and my insurance for about two weeks straight; meanwhile my vehicle was fixed and ready to go!! I was really starting to doubt this was a $12,000-$13,000 repair, but alas there I was picking up the bill. When I picked up my vehicle Jim understood my FRUSTRATION, and told me to file a complaint with the department of Insurance. JIM specifically told me if I did that I would get the money I paid out of pocket back. JIM said if I did that and still did not get my money back he would pay me back that money.I believed him. As a young Mexican Immigrant I was always told America was the best country, and I chose to believe in him and Regal Collision Repair. I filled the complaint and after a couple weeks I got a letter they were discussing the issue with my insurance. Soon after, I got word from GEICO, my insurance, and they said they reviewed the inquiry, and that the repair shop had used excessive paint material, and unless they got more evidence they would not approve more. The department of insurance said that they reviewed my claim and we're basically agreeing with GEICO. I went back to the shop, went to talk to Jim, told him about what the department said and he said he would write to the department. I still believed him. But Okay I waited a couple weeks went back again, talked to Jim, and he told me he still needed to write to them. I was about over all this but Ok I waited and went back days later, that's when Jim told me he still needed to write to them; SO I asked about giving my money back like HE HAD SAID, but he just said he was going to write to them, and that he was NOW going to go on a VACATION !!!!!! I never heard back from him..... That's when I realized they just wanted to get as much money as they could, from you or your insurance. Their word DOSENT mean ANYTHING!!!! In the invoice I got it says they replaced the headlight but it doesn't even look damaged in the first picture Additionally the sensors on my vehicle were not properly calibrated as my car tends to overcorrect to the right lane when using cruise control( I didn't realize initially cause I don't really use CC) making that feature unusable. I've been reluctant to go back cause I feel like they lied to me, and only really want money... but yeah check your sensors and feature if you get a repair here. read more

They dropped me like a hot potato after my truck's catalytic converter was stolen while in their possession inside their fence. I was told, "It is your responsibility. We have signs posted everywhere that we are not responsible for damage or theft to your vehicle." To make matters worse, there were no converters available for my truck. Finally, after 3 months with an undriveable truck, I found a muffler shop that was able to build a converter to fit my truck. Regal accepted no responsibility. I was forced to use my insurance and pay $1000.00 deductible for the new converter. Character or lack of character counts when doing business. Lesson learned. Regal Collision is not a trustworthy Auto Repair Shop. We took our car in for what should have been a simple sunroof leak repair but in the end, our car had to be TOTALLED by our insurance company! We even took our car back to Regal three times and they kept saying they had fixed it. Our insurance paid them for this "repair" but when we were driving, we kept hearing a whistling noise from the sunroof. Again we took it back to them. Each time Regal said it was fixed. And then it RAINED and the inside of our car was soaked. AAA recommended we use a shop in their network and when we took it to the new shop, they discovered the parts for the sunroof had never been replaced and the "black mold" that was inside the car was from water that had collected under the back seat. My Ford Edge lift gate was damaged when I drove out of my garage with the lift gate up. Ouch! The glass was shattered, the windshield assembly was broken off, and the windshield wiper motor was also pulled out of the lift gate! I had Safelite replace the glass, but they could not replace the windshield assembly and motor. I took my Ford Edge to one Auto Body shop, they didn't want to make any repairs, they just wanted to order the entire lift gate and replace it.... for over 2,500.00 Then later I was referred to Regal, they initially wanted to replace the lift gate, but after some discussion they looked further into repair for me. The end result was a great repair for under $500.00. They even buffed out some scratches. I'm 71 years old and this was the best auto collision repair experience of my life. They fixed my car after I hit something. I have aftermarket fog lights on my car which they ordered from a place that is out of stock, gave me the car back when the repairs were NOT complete and told me they'd call when the light came in. My right side blinkers were also not working properly. For several months I asked them to cancel the order, and order it from several places that I found for them because they refused to take any action. Although they agreed to do that, they did nothing for another month. At this point they had already been paid for a job and were refusing to finish it. They wasted my time and efforts in locating the part. They were full of excuses like they couldn't call the supplier and cancel an order for a part they did not have and had no plans of re-stocking. This wasn't a supply issue or any of the other excuses they gave. This was simply people being too lazy to cancel an order and reorder it from somewhere that had the part in stock, which I found 3 of for them. They said "this is why we don't like working on aftermarket stuff.", but they didn't seem to mind when I brought the car to them for an insurance job. Today, I had to drive down to the shop because I had been lied to on the phone several times about their intentions to fix the problem. At this point rather than try and complete the job they were already paid for, or right their own failures, I was issued a check for the price of the part and told to find the part myself. They had fixed 1 of my other cars in the past which I payed out of pocket and the work was OK, The difference is you pay for that when you pick it up. This was an insurance job and once they got paid, they had no interest in completing the job. I had to report this to my insurance company as well. I was a repeat customer. I have a lot of cars, but I will never go to Regal again. I would have taken my car elsewhere if I knew I was going to get the run around and an incomplete job. EDIT: I was issued a check on Tuesday9/6/22. Today is Friday 9/9/22. It took 3 days to get these lights delivered to my house. They couldn't do it in 3 months. No supply chain issue as they claim. None of the excuses they gave me are honest. They just refused to lift a finger for the job because they already got paid. read more

I called in the morning for an estimate on my Truck. The passenger door was stuck shut. They advised it could be tricky to get into the panel to figure out what was actually going on. I arrived a little after 10 in the morning and Kirk came out to take a look. He fiddled with the door for awhile and grabbed one of his techs to advise on the best course of action. About 5 weeks ago my 2015 BMW Z4 Roadster was rear ended by a semi-truck on I-80. My insurance wanted me to go to a huge corporate BMW shop to get my car fixed; however, I generally prefer to support local businesses and enjoy knowing the person I am contracting with is both a neighbor and the person who will be doing the work. Ultimately, I opted to trust my high end vehicle to Regal Collision Repair, mainly because they are fighters and have done excellent work on my car in the past. This proved to be the right choice almost immediately! The insurance claims adjuster remotely assessed the collision from pictures sent to him in San Diego, and low balled the damage estimates by about 90% of the actual costs. They also only wanted the car repaired with "after market" parts! Regal, over the course of several days, successfully challenged the estimates and was able to convince the insurance evaluator that the car needed parts from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (BMW); they then set about trying to find the scarce OEM parts necessary to put my 2015 classic back in good working order. Luckily, the Regal team was able to aquire one of the major parts right here in the U.S. (it was one of only two actually available), and found the second part, a new back end (with electronics) in Germany. Bottom line, they put my car back together, rewired and calibrated the sensors and convertible hardtop, matched the paint perfectly, and, I believe, gave me the car back in better shape than it was before the accident! The car was beautifully restored and then perfectly waxed and detailed by Juan. Regal has a customer for life. #Where quality is no accident! read more

I was fortunate enough to be referred to this company through the Nissan dealership in Concord. I had a defective hatch back on my 2018 Nissan Kicks. Had to jump through a lot of hoops to get Nissan to cover the repairs but when they did, they sent me to Regal collision repair. Because the service was happening during the shelter in place, I called ahead and Jim was kind enough to help me understand their process. When I arrived, he met me outside and brought over his associate whose name was Kirk. He was very helpful in helping me understand what was wrong with my car. Kirk went over the details and reassured me they could repair it. After a couple weeks, Nissan approved the work. Jim and Kirk arranged for me to be able to drop off my car in Concord near my work and then they picked it up And took it back to Vallejo to get the job done. They were very communicative during the process and the job was done in the exact time they said it would be. Then they went to the trouble of dropping off my car back in Concord so that I would not have to drive to Vallejo. This kind of customer service is not easy to find nowadays. The work they did on my car was spectacular! Not only did they repair the hatchback and fix the chipped paint, they went above and beyond and did a paint touch up on a scratch on the side of my car that I did not even ask them about. And washed and vacuumed the car! It looks like brand new! I could not be happier with the job they did! It's worth the drive to Vallejo to get this kind of service!
