I brought my car here for an estimate. First, I called in to ask if I needed to schedule an appointment to get an estimate. The guy I spoke to was the manager, he was really nice and explained that walk-ins are accepted. I asked how long it usually takes because I was going on my lunch break. He said it varies from 10-30 mins. So I take my car there and talk to the guy I was on the phone with. I'm not quite sure if he just finished his lunch or if he had mood swings because he sounded and acted different in person. He was very sarcastic and it got annoying. Just looking at my car, he already assumed it was going to be a total loss if I filed a claim with my insurance. So I asked him if he can just give me an estimate and I will think about what would be best for me to do. While he was doing the estimate, he kept making comments that the damage on my car was more than the value of my car. It took him about an hour to complete the estimate. Will NOT refer anyone to this body shop. Took my car to R & D Bodyworx in Fairfield instead and my vehicle wasn't considered a total loss. read more

These guys are AWESOME!!!! My vehicle was side swiped outside my home at night and the damage was substantial. I called Steve the manager and with greatest attitude told me to bring it in. The poor review that is on this site is unfortunate because i am glad that this shop realized the extent of damages my vehicle went through and saved me from having a repaired hazard when mine was declared a total loss. When the car rental dropped the ball and didn't have the rental car available, Steve called another company and I was able to have transportation that day. I am relatively new to the area and was very nervous about finding a good quality repair shop when my Prius was rear ended. I choose A-1 because Toyota Vallejo recommended them and I am so glad I did! My main concern was that there was more than just bumper damage to my car, so I was adamant that an inspection be done on my car. Steve assured me that this would be done and when they found additional damage, Steve did all the coordinating with the insurance company to get it covered. I was incredibly impressed with Steve's follow up. I brought my car in at 8:30am and at 1pm he had called me to let me know the progress of my car and an estimate for how long it would take. Just a little update from my last review. I needed to get some other things done to my hardtop. There were two rubber pieces that required insertion in the front of the hardtop. Each piece needed to be glued in the front of the jeep to prevent wind noise when driving on the freeway I called the guys at A1 and without hesitation they told me to bring my Jeep in. I got into a car accident a few weeks ago and was towed into this body shop i left my car their and my insurance company handled it from their as i was and the road for a business meeting. During the time my car was there i was given updates on how t my claim was being handled i did not want my car to be totaled and did not want to buy a new car. This is the worst collision repair shop i have been. They are not educated to repair vehicles.Bumpers that they install have gaps and fall out and paint job is terrible they easily peel and have bubbles on them. They also have bad customer service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AND I AM NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS SHOP. read more
