Reserved tickets to see Project Hail Mary tonight and decided to watch it here because it was closest to the restaurant we chose for dinner. It's looking a little dated and rundown. Only half the neon lights are working and they don't have anyone to sell tickets in the box office (but you can buy them at the concessions counter). A few creative things they're doing are renting out the movie theater space for business conferences/events, a small upstairs room for birthday parties, and showing old classics like Ben Hur and Silence of the Lambs and The Fifth Element as special events. They are also starting a Regal Cinema club membership to encourage fans to come regularly. Reclining seats and Dippin Dots! Clean bathrooms and theaters! The staff are doing their best to keep lines moving! Btw if you want a good deal, Tuesdays are the cheap tix night but come early if you want parking. Project Hail Mary was an enjoyable movie! On the exterior, this place this very run down. Even in the lobby, it looks outdated and empty. The staff is friendly, but may need a little more training on customer service. I had purchased a large popcorn and asked for my free refill right away, but for whatever reason, the employee said she couldn't do that. So, she handed me a beverage carrier (one of those cardboard fold outs and holds two beverages) to open up and pour my popcorn into that and she would top off my popcorn bucket. I don't know why this was such a hassle, but the other theater chains I normally go to wouldn't do that. Anyway... Inside the actual theater was great. Clean. All the seats are recliners making the movie watching experience much more enjoyable. I also like the fact that parking lot is spacious and free. read more

Saw Toy Story 5 at Regal La Verne and I thought the auditorium there was nice! The last time I been to Regal La Verne was on July 10, 2025 when I went to see the new Superman with my friend! Although the tickets are pricy it was worth seeing a movie in Regal! The employees were chill! After the movie was done, I picked up the big trashes for the ushers so it can save them time! 700 pm, Tuesday, November 25, 2025 My experience at Regal-Edwards La Verne was mixed. Tuesday is deal day/night. Discounted tickets and concessions, #IYKYK; therefore, parking lot will be almost at capacity but we spotted a few open spaces. The modern movie theater experience all goes through the concessions stand even for ticket purchases. I grew up in the box office era, weird how it's all consolidated to concessions. But, I see it's a cost cutting measure. We were able to pick our seats at the display screen. This was great, we knew exact here we were sitting in the mostly empty theater. The mini theater was visually clean. The floor at the seats seemed sticky??? The soles of my shoes were sticking each time I moved my feet. We watch Rental Family starring Brendan Frasier (Encino Man, haha). So midway through the movie, my phone falls out of my jacket pocket, through the gap at the seat arm rest and seat. I heard the think of the phone... Oh no... I began looking for the phone on the floor under the two seats... Nothing there... Crud, where's the phone!? It's dark, stick my hand through the seat, feeling steel parts of the recliner and finally my hand felt my Pop-It holder. I had to wrestle the phone out and free it from the steel bars. Apparently, while trying to open the recliner, the phone got further damage the it. My phone screen is now marred and scarred! OMG, so upset at these seats! There are wide spaces between the cushions that allow items to fall through. Items as big as my cellphone (expensive)! My phone got stuck on the steel parts of the reclining mechanism and cracked the glass screen. I am so upset about this even with the premium case and anti scratch film applied. It even tore up the applied film too. Moral of this story... The reclining seat will beat up your pricey cell phones! So, protect and keep valuables in a safe place. Painful lesson for me. read more

This was just my second time visiting this Regal location in La Verne. I usually catch movies at the Regal in Alhambra, but I brought my grandmother here since it's in her neighborhood. We came on a Tuesday afternoon to watch the new Superman movie (my second time seeing it, but she was excited to check it out). Tuesdays are discount days, and the theater had a solid turnout of seniors taking advantage of the deal. I dropped my grandmother off at the front entrance before parking in the large lot--didn't want her walking too far. I had already purchased our tickets through the Regal app using my Unlimited membership. Once we got settled in our seats, I went back out to grab popcorn. There was no line, and the employee at concessions (I believe his name was Westin) was friendly and quick. Later, I went back for a soda and saw Westin helping a group of seniors pick their seats and asking for water cups. He was incredibly patient and kind with them, which stood out to me. I imagine this location sees a lot of older moviegoers on discount days, and it was nice to see someone providing that level of respectful service. I wasn't in a rush since I'd already seen the film, and honestly, it made me smile seeing how well they were being treated. This Regal has those fully reclining seats that make all the difference. The theater itself isn't particularly modern aside from the seats and film quality--which, let's be real, is what you go to the movies for anyway. Restrooms are upstairs, which could be a challenge for some, but I believe they have an elevator to accommodate. Overall, it was a great outing. Comfortable seating, polite staff, and an atmosphere that feels welcoming--especially to seniors like my grandmother. Will definitely return when I'm in the area. read more

I went to the Mortal Kombat premiere and bought the Shao Kahn popcorn bucket. It was missing a piece. The manager said they did have one that was missing the piece but weren't going to sell it. But evidently they messed up and still sold it to me without telling me it was defective. The manager said they wouldn't refund me or provide a correct version of the bucket. I asked for the district manager's number and the number provided doesn't work. So something suspicious is going on with this location. Also, while I was there I took this picture of how dirty the place is. And this is directly above where they serve drinks. So clearly this location does not care about sanitation, selling correct products, or providing a good way to handle complaints. It's poorly ran and the fault is clearly on management. read more

I've been here a few times with my friend who reserves tickets here for select showings. I'm pretty sure I saw Die Hard for the first time and most recently Elf; these were within the last two years. This Regal clearly used to be and Edwards cinema and still has that throwback 90's interior with the neon lighting. Both times I've been here it's not crowded and there's plenty of seating. For Valentine's Day my husband bought tickets to see the 1942 movie "Casablanca" on the big screen here at Regal Edwards La Verne. Our nine year old son also came out for this movie date. We had popcorn, junior mints, my son had a Slurpee, we and some adult beverages. This theater has been around for 30 years in La Verne but the management has kept it clean, the snacks are fresh, and best of all they show old movies on the big screen from time to time which is great. We visited today with a party of 7. Paid for tickets and $100 worth of concessions. The concessions took forever and by the time we got everything our movie was started. My husband took a sip of his on tap beer as we walked to our theater. The beer was flat, when we went back to ask for a refund, we were told no. I came here on Monday to see passenger , Absolutely disgusting experience at Regal Cinemas in La Verne. The entire theater felt filthy from the moment we walked in. When I swiped my card at concessions, the machine was so sticky it made my skin crawl. I was there a couple of nights ago for a 10:00 PM showing, and when the movie ended and I walked out to the parking lot, all of the parking lights were turned off. It was completely pitch black--to the point that I had to use my phone's flashlight just to see where I was walking and safely get into my car. I don't know whether the lights were turned off because the theater was rushing to close or trying to save on electricity, but either way, it felt unsafe and concerning. I want to start by saying (I think her name was) Denise the manager was so fantastic and understanding. She (and the rest of the staff) gets a 5 star review from me. She had me confirm both times which theatres I went into and I believe she sent ushers into both. She's very calm and professional. She refunded me for both my tickets with no questions asked. I came here twice tonight to watch The Backrooms and had to leave early in each showing. Kids were being obnoxious and loud in both showings. In the second showing, there was a misunderstanding with the seating arrangement and a large group of kids came in 45 mins after the movie started. I brought my 88 year old grandmother with me the second time I came. We moved over one seat so this group could fit. It wasnt a big deal. We all fit in the row. (The entire row was full at this point). They started loudly opening up soda cans and snacks. I did my best to ignore it. Then, they had even more friends of theirs show up (like 4 or 5) an hour into the movie. We ended up leaving because the kids wanted to argue with us and I did not want to cause a scene. One of them wasn't in their seat and was walking around on the other side of the theatre for some reason??? I did not want my grandmother moving again because its hard for her, so I decided we'll just leave. I understand I am in the wrong for not sitting in my assigned seat but why are that many people allowed into the theatre if the movie started an hour ago? Why were there so many kids tonight being obnoxious? This has never happened to me at a movie theatre. read more

This is a most unfortunate review of the La Verne Regal (Edwards) Theater - a theater that I have gone to on and off since it opened. This should be a savored, fun experience due to the fact that people have so many choices these days and this particular theater was a top choice for so long. Instead, the last two times we have gone, we witnessed very slow snack bar service, dirty and messy counters to butter your popcorn and grab napkins, uncleaned theaters 5 minutes before the movie start time - when someone finally came in to do a quick pick-up, somewhat warm temperatures in the theater, and roughly 17 minutes of ad/commercials after the start time and BEFORE the previews. Additionally, they store stacked boxes of inventory for the snack bar right out in the main lobby for all to see and walk around. Why take the time to drive and spend hard earned money (...and plenty of it) for this experience? Sad about this place... read more

Everything is excellent at this multi-plex (especially the GREAT TEAM!), except that they sell tickets for the movies at the concession stand. So there are ten groups in line to get tickets, helped by only 2 concession stand employees, who have to take time from getting people into their movies to get cheese on nachos & fill the enormous large sodas. We waited over ten minutes from the time we got in line till we got our tickets. Other than that everything was great. Cheerful, clean, comfortable seats, movie presented perfectly, etc. Curious... who is spending $16 for a hot dog and a small soda? I know the Costco hot dog & soda for $1.50 might be losing $ to bring in customers like the $5 cooked chickens, but $16? I do like all the previews for other movies that are shown before the feature. And they only had two commercials for things that weren't movies, and one of the two was entertaining & the other was really short, so Regal/Edwards might be better than AMC an not making us sit though ads and that annoying Nicole Kidman plug AMC has been making us watch before every movie for many years. read more

Comfy. I loved the recliner seats here. Seats made spending $15 per each adult ticket more worth it. Spider-Man No Way Home just came out this week, was in the area and decided on this theater specifically... cause it has recliner seats. Row "C" looks too close on the seating map online, but it isn't -good view, for me. Purchased tickets online (through Fandango) and the receipt came with a QR code to scan on arrival. The guy standing in the foyer of the Regal Edwards Theater scans your QR code receipt and let's you know which theater your movie is playing. Restrooms are located all the way upstairs! Visited Saturday, 04/09/22 to watch Sonic the Hedgehog 2 with my boyfriend. We wanted to watch the movie at the AMC Theaters inside the Montclair Mall but it was jammed packed and not a lot of available seating (we did not want to watch the movie close to the screen), so we decided to go to Regal La Verne; best decision ever - barely ANY people in the room. We even had the entire row to ourselves! The last time we have been to the movie theaters was in 2020 before the pandemic started, and we watched Sonic the Hedgehog 1! It feels so great to be back and watch a movie with the entire theatre experience with great company, crispy sound effects and a large screen! This place brings back so many fond memories - I would always hang out with my friends back in middle and high school to watch movies while sneaking some snacks and In N Out. My family would always come here too when I was a small child. Everything pretty much looks the same since then. The building is a bit old however they recently renovated the seats inside the movie theaters to LEATHER, BOUJEE RECLINING SEATS! Amazing experience and worth the visit - you can control the seat to your desired liking. You are only allowed to bring water inside (aka no snacks/food from outside however people usually bring a big bag and hide their snacks). We purchased 2 Minute Maid Ice Cream cups which totaled around $10. We had 2 pre-purchased Regal Tickets (before the pandemic) and used them, it still worked! I believe if we did not use those pre-purchased tickets then we would have paid around $27. You reserve your seats when purchasing your tickets. You now have to purchase your tickets INSIDE the theater (no more outside) where you would typically purchase snacks. Beware the line gets long, my boyfriend took forever purchasing the ice cream and came back just in time for the movie to start. Overall a 5/5 experience. They also have a mini arcade downstairs as well as a photo booth. You can also rent out a room upstairs next to the restrooms for birthdays and other cool events! read more

I enjoy this theater very much! I love having the reclining seats typically short lines. The popcorn is always popped fresh. They have butter and condiments on either side of the counter. Women and men's bathrooms are upstairs and they have a handicap located downstairs. If you go to the movies, often take advantage of the regal hon limited you only need to go to two movies a month to make it pay for itself. read more

It's sad to see people don't go out to the movies anymore but at the prices they charge, I can see why. $60 for movies tickets, small popcorn and soda . The theater itself is nice, great seats. Small and comfortable, but not a lot of people. At the way it's going, I don't see movie theaters lasting too long. Plus not a lot of good movies being made anymore for cinema, all just for Netflix and chill nights. I really enjoyed seeing Titanic again on the big screen though, 25 years later.
