My apartment is new and I like everything about it. I like how the floor plan flows and all the appliances are very good quality. The grounds are clean and landscaping is nicely done. They are installing another pool and it is right next to my building. Yay! The management, especially Marie, is outstanding. She made the whole experience seamless and she is very professional. I would not call Regal Parc a high end environment if that is what you are looking for. For me it is great because it is new, clean and very comfortable with nice appointments in and around the property. read more

Honestly, beware of this place. Echoing the sentiments of some other reviewers, they change their tune quickly during the move-out process and once you are leased. I had the unit above me literally flood and as a result maintenance had to punch holes in my ceiling to release the water. Afterwards, I had giant fans and a big dehumidifier in my apartment for days on end without any reduction to my electricity bill. The office was incredibly standoffish about communicating with me. And to make matters worse? When it was finally time to move out, they charged the damage to the apartment to ME. They are an actual nightmare scenario for apartment living. There are so many other options in the Cedar Park area - go with anywhere else. read more

I went there to tour about a month ago, I remember the young lady named Molly who helped me and gave me a tour of the property, she was very detailed and made me feel at ease, my mom came with me and barely speaks English but was raving about Molly making her feel a part of the process and said for once she didn't feel excluded. I hope you don't have more than one car living in these apts or don't get home later than 8pm because there is not enough parking spots for the tenants. Rent is constantly rising for the most basic apts. These apts are run by a whole family of raccoons and roaches. They towed a bunch of peoples cars this morning to re pavement the parking lot, not add more spaces. Just to re pavement a perfecting fine parking lot. The dog "park" if you can call it that.. is only a couple yards long and filled with dog poop. God help you if you live next to the playground because there is always kids screaming and climbing on the side of the building next to your apt window. Lucky escape. Watch out for lies when being shown apartments. Ground floor apartments are more expensive but heaven help you if you are near the super noisy HVAC units: the leasing office person called it "white noise" but the units made enough noise to wake up the dead when they powered up. Also this is another rotten Greystar property - I didn't realize this on making an appointment but this is a management company to avoid hard. read more

Place is alright to live in, but parking is terrible after about 9pm and it seems like no one picks up theirs dogs poop. These apartments rent price keeps going up which to say that it's far over priced for what they are. They also do have a dog park, but it's really really small and in a very weird location right in the middle of the parking lot. It's obviously was an after thought. I also have been given notices about plastic containers on the back porch. There really isn't much room for any type of storage in the apartment. Also, there's no possible way someone saw it from outside as we're facing the school and on the second floor, so someone randomly must've came into the apartment to see it without any notice. That's not cool, especially when you're charging well over $1000 a month for a one bedroom basic apartment. On the hole though, it's an "ok" place to live. The Good: MAINTENANCE was done in a timely manner. GROUNDS....There is a new management company and they are doing a lot to fix the place up. The new chairs and tables near the pool are nice and the BBQ grills are great! Much better than the charcoal ones that were there before. The new company is doing a lot to the grounds, making it a nicer area. They have laid new sod and laid down rocks. It is getting a well needed update. RECYCLING...this was something new they brought in 2012. It was great that they started recycling. Austin is trying to be green, this is a great way to help. LOCATION...this complex is in a great location. It's just minutes to everything. PET RENT...there is none! The Bad: ELECTRIC bills are crazy high. These buildings are so old, and the insulation very poor...don't be surprised by a $200 electric bill. I don't use as much as most people (I kept it from 78-80 degrees in the summer and replaced all my light bulbs with fluorescents-can't imagine what it would be without the money saving light bulbs). WORKOUT room...obviously your not renting this place for that feature. It has a water fountain that hasn't worked the entire time I lived there. The wipes to clean the equipment and old and dry or empty. There is 1 treadmill, 1 eliptical, some free weights, a weight bench, and another weight machine. The pictures may make it look great, but it's tiny and there's not much to it. NOISE...there is a good amount of noise near the pool at night. This has been more recently (summer of 2012). Guess some noisy people are renting. When management was alerted, they sent out a note to everyone saying that if it's too noisy, call the cops. So, they didn't help there. WILDLIFE....I know it's outdoors and you can't help the wildlife, but racoons are running wild around the complex. When we take out the garbage, there was almost always atleast on there (and not little ones). I think the problem is that the garbage was always overflowing. This needs to be fixed. The size of the complex should either get another dumpster or a dumpster with a trash compactor. PARKING...is horrible. I've had to park all the way at the back of the parking lot before because there was no parking...I've also had a time when there was no parking at all and I had to either wait for a spot or park off the complex. That only happened to me once because right after, I decided to pay for a parking spot. If you rent here, paying for parking is a must! A word of caution, you have to have your parking pass up. I had mine up everyday and must have knocked it down (it fell in the compartment between the two front seats-you could see it if you looked in the window). Anyway, it wasn't there and they did a massive towing one day. I had to get someone to take me down to JJ's towing which was way down south...I also had to pay the fee $190...when I spoke with management, they said they can give me $50 back...yet, I never got the money. I mentioned it to the man at the office and he told me I had to take it up with the woman. They shortened the office hours and close at 5:30. I was never able to see her. :( so much for that $50. They should have put it in the record somewhere so he could have gotten it to me. Or better yet, deducted it from my rent or put it in my mailbox. DOG POOP...this is a problem with the pet owners not taking care of their pets. If you have a pet, pick up after them! The management company keeps bags out there for pet owners to use...many of them don't! It's frustrating when you clean up after your pet, but others don't, and you end up stepping in dog crap! Clean up after your pet or don't have a pet! RENT...rent went up tremendously. When I first started renting there, I was paying $590 plus 35 water, a year later, it was upped to $610 plus 35 water (not bad), a year later (new management took over) it jumped to $680 (this I had negotiated down...they wanted $740 and I told them no) plus for water. 6 mos. later, (new management company) they upped the rent to $859 plus 40 for water. I'm sorry, but this place is not worth that price. If they'd left it at the 724 (rent plus water), I probably would have stayed. It's a very good location and I haven't had any problems with maintenance or management. Another thing I hated was walking home at night and people just hanging out in their garages. They would stare at you until you went around the corner, kind of creepy. Never had a problem with any of them, just didn't like to get stared at. Hate the fact that management constantly changes, and rent constantly goes up. read more

I guess the property changed name to Regal Parc apartment homes. Well don't bother this place is infested with roaches and not the little ones the big tree roaches. I am tired off spending money on all kinds of pesticides and with no luck. They just don't stop. They charge a fee per month for pest control and that doesn't do anything. I just moved in 3 weeks ago and really want to move out. I'm just glad I only have a 6 month lease and I'm so ready to go. I just wish I would have seen reviews about the roach problem before and I would have never moved here. Update on my review from about 3 months ago. Not only will you find roaches. Please are so inconsiderate of other residents they bring dogs to the pool letting them swim there and not only swim but there nasty dogs also poop in the pool. You have people that don't even live here come and swim after the office is closed and off course why not there's no such thing as security doors or anything like that. There pool is always dirty and closed, you will always see the pool closed sign on weekends. And I see that not only do they have a roach problem but they also have rats. Cheap but consider the problems there is here and that no one cares about. read more

Pros: Practically the only place under $1000/mo to rent in the Cedar Park area Cons: -They use bait and switch techniques. Let me elaborate. We paid all of our fees and deposits up front a week before we moved in (they required a money order) and we were told we would get an apartment exactly like the one we walked through. The apartment we walked through had the "upgraded" appliances and better flooring, and was in a more desirable area of the complex. The following week when we arrived we were given the keys to an apartment that absolutely reeked of smoke and didn't have any of the promised amenities we were told it would have. We had to move in that day so all of our stuff got to absorb all that smoke...my wife and I are both very allergic to smoke and were sick after sleeping there that night, and they didn't get a company to "clean" that apartment out there until a day or two later. -Walls/ceilings are paper thin. You will hear every love making grunt made from every side of the apartment. Ceilings sound like they could come crashing down at any moment. -The trash compactor is always overflowing with garbage and makes the complex smell like rancid backside. -There is no parking for guests and next to no parking for residents! We have had to park at businesses across the street or down the road many times due to the amount of cars parked in the complex. Any spots that would be available are taken up by peoples crap (boats, trailers) or their broke down cars. We honestly dreaded every moment at this complex, it was the worst living experience of my life. I would sooner go back and pay $1300/mo to live in a proper complex than give this place another dollar of my money. If I could give them a negative rating I would. read more

All the bad the first review said was RIGHT! The parents here do not watch there children and they run rampant screaming through the apartments and summers at the pool are not even worth going because you have to listen to the SCREAMING of children while their parents couldn't care less. Insulation is HORRIBLE I had some downstairs neighbors that freaked out if I walked through the kitchen and said I was jumping they come and tested the insulation and said it was fine.... it was NOT because I was never jumping I was walking! I switched apartments on my dime (100 dollar transfer electric fee and they wanted to UP my rent after I was doing them a favor) to get away from those "Loyal" neighbors who moved 5 months later anyway...My electric bill is ridiculous for a one bdrm apartment almost as much as my father in laws 3 Bdrm HOUSE! Raccoons everywhere even by the grills we had to take our food and run because they aren't scared they come at you! Management doesn't help much with problems and their policies are very different from the old managements. Maintenance is good responds very fast and done well. Keeps up grounds well. But the dog poop is a problem. I see kids taking the dogs out and not picking it up. When you walk through the grass you HAVE to watch your step. The garage thing doesn't creep me out because everyone is friendly and we walked pass them so much because of the absolute WORST parking situation ever. I do not foresee them fixing that there really isn't anywhere to add parking to the front at least which is where I need it. Want a parking spot up front? Not after 6 pm when every ones home from work you have yourself a walk all the way from the back! My upstairs neighbors dog barks every Sunday morning starting at 6 AM and they wont do anything about it. Small pool and gym. But they re did them and the new grills are nice. It looks a lot better but they only fixed up the vanity of the property not the real problems. Don't let small children take trash out at night those coons are mean and growl and might attack. Rent did go up but since someone screwed up our paperwork we got it at the same price. The location is nice I am only 5 minutes from my job but if I didn't hate moving so much I would be gone from here. Really I should have done more research before I moved in. So be sure you are okay with all of these things before choosing to live here. read more

Its not bad but its not good. A month living here we had a pipe burst in our bathroom. My living room and kitchen flooded. My floor by my door feels like its rotting out underneath- Its soft. The fake wood flooring is awful. You cant even put a tv stand up without it making an indent because its so soft. Updated? Sure, but its cheap. I have little red ants lile crazy so I buy ant killers and sweep and mop like a crazy person. There are only 2washers and 2 dryers for the complex- well, one washer because the other washer has been broken for about 2 months. The pool is frequently closed, sometimes for days at a time. People get sick of it so they swim when the office closes. I think they forget to take the sign down. Pool shouldn't be closed more than a day really. I used to work a a pool company. There's always cops here. Every weekend you're guaranteed to see two cops at a time or 4. And during the week there's at least one arresting somebody or looking for someone. And the kids are out late at night. The basketball hoop area has been broken down for over a month so its been quiet. Our car got broken in to down where the parking is since theres no light down there. So now we rent a garage for $100 extra. But it's okay because we have a roof over our head, the water works, oven works and that's what we pay almost $1200 for, right? We won't be staying another year read more

I lived at this apartment complex for a year and always paid my rent, never had any issues until I got a garage. I rented the garage- and a couple days later the battery went dead on the opener. I had emptied my car out to clean it and put the stuff in the garage the day I got it. The three days later when the battery died, I made a maintenance call to the manager. She sent Franco to get my door to open and he decided to throw away all my things into the trash and compact it before the weekend. This apartment complex is heartless and literally took the clothes off of my and my two kids backs. Their dad is gone serving our military so I am really glad we support all of your freedoms while you people steal and throw away my belongings. Not just clothes and shoes, but pictures of my children I will never get back. Edith signed the paper admitting to the incident- that they took my things and trashed them without any right. They are now leaving me hanging out to dry, like it isn't their responsibility. I am disgusted with the entire situation- Don't ever waste your life renting from this terrible place. This is what the scum of America is made of- pathetic people and businesses that don't take responsibility. read more
