stay away from from MiLes. His service sucks and when quest about he lies. Liar liar pants on fire. Nic the assistant manager was polite but unable to help but at least listened and tried. Zac did nothing. If I could assign A forest any that I thought resembled his work ethic and attitude it would be the forest sloth Maybe it's just a off day for all or other reviews are right about the service here. I'm unsure if I should leave a one star for terrible service or a five star for the commitment to stay at such a low level and not be embarrassed about not striving for better. Such a shame. Actively hate this location. The fact it's the closest theater to me actually causes me pain. Here on opening night for a movie...and they legit sold out of all the merch. I had to have a friend of mine pick up the merch from the Beaverton location...why can this theater do absolutely nothing right? After reading some awful reviews about this location I wasn't expecting much.... HOWEVER, I must say the reviews I read (before heading to the theater) didn't reflect the awesome experience I had at this location... I've been to like location 3 times last week. 2 movies during the day and 1 on a Saturday night. Every single time we went we were greeted with great customer service, and never had to wait too long in line for snacks. Everyone I encountered was polite, including the employees waiting to clean up after the movies. The only thing that made my experience less than enjoyable was the BO from the person sitting by us. This is NOT the theater's fault. Please make sure you're not too ripe when heading to the movies. Despite the smell, the people in the theater were very friendly. Regal Willamette Town Center - Comfortable recline! - Cinema Near Me - Salem, Oregon

Normally we go to the Santiam location, but we decided to go to Willamette because we wanted the reclining seats. First, the lines for the concessions took at least 20 minutes (for two other people), I asked for alot of butter and there was barely any on there. The Icee machines are always broken at both locations and the staff seems oblivious. When we bought our tickets a few days prior, we were on 2 people of the 6 that had purchased tickets. I intentionally try to sit away from anyone because people are rude and inconsiderate of others. The family of 4 adults sat next to us and proceeded to look at their phones and message people for 1/2 of the movie. Theater staff used to check in each theater and make sure everyone was "behaving" and not sneaking into the movies, this apparently no longer happens at least not at this location. I don't care if you purchased a ticket and spent your money, it's called common courtesy to not use your phone during a movie. Just stay home if this is what you feel like doing and stop ruining the movie for everyone else that also paid their money to see the movie. I won't be returning to this location. Santiam staff is nicer and faster at the concessions and the audience is never full. read more

I normally have a really good experience here, but today...wow! First, I tried using the kiosk by where you used to buy tickets, but the two teenage twits were no help. They were too busy gossiping than being any help and suggested I go to the counter. So, I go to the counter and purchase tickets and extremely overpriced drinks (9$ for a small can of angry orchard and almost $6 for a 20 oz bottle of water. Then we get to where we show the tickets and the young teenager who helped us didn't give us our tickets. Manager was called and he very slowly walks over (he looks 13 but us probably 20s) then slowly walks to where two teenage twits are and looks to see who we paid (which I told them several times) and he walked over and got our ticket. We made the mistake of going to the bathroom before getting drinks. We get into a line and are yelled at to get back in the queue. Apparently you're supposed to wait in some zigzagging Disney world line instead of just forming individual lines behind each cashier. The least amount of power to ever go to someone's head. Felt like chattel. all this to pay $24 dollars for $4 dollar wine. If they're going to make me pay for a luxury experience, maybe they should actually offer one. Will not be back. read more

55 minutes of ads and previews!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous. I came to see a movie not a bunch of ads. You should post the actual movie start time-I.e. 7:00 PM starts ads and previews, 8:00 PM your movie will start. No wonder people don't go to the theaters anymore. read more

This theatre was my go to as a kid but has gotten downhill throughout these past few years. The employees are not the friendliest. The whole place smells really bad like urine almost. Dirty! Dirty! And omg, the quality of the movie is horrible!!! The screen is hue with blueish/purple and not true to color! It's not even UHD. I shouldn't have to pay money for bad quality movie theatre set up? It was pretty disappointing because there was this guy who kept vaping and talking during the whole movie. It was super annoying, and even after complaints, the theater staff didn't do anything about it. The guy also started cursing and threatening me and the rest of my group when we asked him to stop talking. All they did was move him down a few rows. read more

Terrible Experience. Right out of the gate we noticed they were not enforcing masks. And the place was a filthy mess. We waited in the hallways while our theatre was being cleaned and were eventually let in 10 minutes after the movie start time and the theatre was *still* dirty, popcorn everywhere including full trash cans, with trash spilling out. The movie started almost 20 minutes late. Oh- there was puke on a bench in the hallway. Who knows how long that had been there. They packed the theaters full, no social distancing seats next to your party we're not kept empty! It was extremely uncomfortable to be sitting so close to people not in your party while they are eating. The concession line wasn't long but it took over 20 minutes for two people to be helped in front of us (the employee was helping them navigate an app?! While the line grew and grew) The employee at our line seemed to not understand what they were doing, gave us the wrong sizes and had us pay for them anyway. She also pointed out a different coupon would have saved us more money and when we asked to apply it instead, she said "No." This person was completely unaware of how to do her job. We know it's hard to find employees right now, and everyone is doing their best but there are some basic things that should be done and sanitation issues as well as mandated regulations that need to be followed or you shouldn't be open to your full capacity. It was our first time to the this theatre and it will be our last. read more

Showed up at 1210pm for popcorn only. Surprise! Closed again. Website says they open at 11. Last time I showed up 30 minutes before the movie started to get my tickets and food and they were closed. Employee told me they open at different times everyday, depending on what time the first movie starts. What a joke, only in Salem. read more

We just spent $44 to take the family to Jumanji and spent the last hour of the movie watch a toddler and his mom run literally all around the theater, not one time did any of the movie staff even check in to see what was going on. Could not be more disappointed in our experience. read more

Great place to go and watch a movie. The Theater is very clean and well kept. The employees are very nice and helpful and this one guy is super funny. He got me to laugh really hard. Two of us, Deaf, came to this theatre today and their captioning device wasn't working even if we called in advance earlier during the day to ensure that they were operational - they confirmed it. We asked for full refund, they only provided refund on movie tickets and popcorn, but not on $18 that we spent on alcohol beverages. I asked for a refund on something that is equivalent to this amount, they refused and told us to drink it all up before we leave. Not cool! Won't go back there again. read more

The seats were a lot spacious compared to pre-COVID which I liked. The only complaint I have is how loud the audio was. I'm not sure if it depends on the movie itself since this was the only time where it was this loud but they need to lower the volume by a lot. read more

The mall theater is being renovated with power reclining seats! Wow, they were nice and in addition to being able to reserve our seats at the ticket window (THERE'S an idea whose time has come) we sat down to enjoy Solo. No more tall person blocking your view or unable to stretch your legs without kicking the chair in front of you. The only gripe I have and it's enough to lose a star on this one: the sound system was turned up SO LOUD my ears were in pain after 20 mins. I'm not just getting old (ok maybe I am) but this was by far the loudest movie I've been to. It had to be a mistake. Both my wife and the lady on the other side of me were plugging their ears during the fight scenes. I should've gone to complain or at least alert the staff but the movie was so good! Haha my fault. Can't wait to enjoy those seats again but I hope they dial in the sound next time. read more

Wowza! If you haven't tried the reserved seating theaters here, you are definitely missing out! You get to sit in a roomy recliner with padded arm rests and large cup holders! The surround sound is phenomenal. Lots of fun treats available at the snack bar... aaaand the floors aren't sticky! read more

Before the renovation, I still remember what a dump this part of Salem was (and the rest of Lancaster Mall). Now the theater is impressively expanded and cleaned up as Lancaster continues to attempt to clean up its image from a decade ago. The screens are big, I think they even offer digital projection in some of the theaters. Concession staff isn't the friendliest at times, and the lobby like the old theater can get really packed during peak show times. Parking lot isn't too bad, afterall, its part of a mall. Even though its not as ghetto as it used to be, this place still has nothing on the Regal Santiam location further down Lancaster Drive. read more

Great recliner seats! Entire facility was clean, spacious, beautiful. Staff were great. BUT the noise! The movie volume was louder than a jack hammer. I had to use my hand over my ears and left with ringing ears. Next day, my ears are still ringing. Cranking up the sound does not make the experience better! Whose idea is this? This is the older of the two Regal theaters in Salem. It used to be a drive-in, apparently. The quality of the movies is no different...it simply allows Regal to play almost all of the first run and second run movies currently out, without overlapping, or competition from other major companies. The location is clean with plenty of parking. All the usual over-priced concessions are available. I generally like this location for its special event showings, such as RiffTrax Live or old films played for "one night only." If you're going to see a new movie, you pretty much have to go to a Regal in Salem. At least they try and take care of this one. read more

Don't waist your time. They advertise social distancing and mask enforcement but it's bull. Didn't even stay to make it through the commercials because the theater was packed with no space in between parties and no masks so we left. Also didn't get a refund despite not even seeing a second of the movie. read more

This is my family's favorite cinema! We drive 40 minutes to see movies here. There is always awesome posters and movie cutouts my children love, the staff is always friendly. Especially the ticket taker, the young blonde kid always makes it special for the kids when he takes the tickets. The theaters itself are huge. They have recliners!! Comfy theatre. Lots of leg room. Aisles are spacious. Always good customer service. Pretty happy with this theatre. The bathrooms were clean. Obviously popcorn and concessions are expensive but that's pretty much normal. read more

Still one of the more modern theatres in salem that features imax and 3D for salem! Always clean with friendly staff and lots of showtimes! Located just off of i5 minutes from anywhere in salem! The parking situation can get a little weird but if you're there at the right time you can usually find a spot! I'd recommend people get the unlimited pass as you're able to see as many movies as you would like for just 18 bucks a month! read more

This is a moderately sized movie theater with some great screens and great sound. The parking outside is more than adequate for the size of the place and the box office area is large enough to handle a big movie opening weekend. Inside, the concession area is surprisingly small (in Florida the Regal movie theaters have much larger concession areas with a more varied selection of items). The guest service / manager area is small too, but you can buy tickets in there if the line outside is too long. The employees were all very friendly. I recommend you sign up for their rewards program if you watch movies regularly, because you get free stuff and it doesn't cost anything to join. Some days of the week they even give you free popcorn or discount candy just for being a member. Inside the movie theater is very nice. It is clean and inviting, with posters and cardboard cutouts of upcoming films tastefully lining the walls. Each auditorium has a digital sign indicating the name of the movie, it's start time, and whether or not the previews have already started. It's very handy! The auditoriums inside are stadium seating, allowing for good visibility from any seat. The auditorium we were in had a high definition digital screen, making for a great picture quality. The sound was outstanding as well. The floor was very clean, and so were the seats. I used two of the restrooms and both were very clean (I'm a guy, so I'm only able to review the men's rooms). Overall, a very good experience, despite the smaller size of theater that I'm used to. I would definitely go back. read more
