It's not overly large as you can most likely walk and enjoy the trails, gardens and sights in about 30 minutes. There is a house tour but only on limited days/times and the day we visited was not one of those days. Beautiful flowers, tucked away benches and meandering trails all made for a wonderful walk. After driving 10 hours from California with…read moreour 5 month old and 2 year old we were pretty exhausted but we instantly felt right at home when we were greeted by Candace at the front desk. She was so kind, compassionate, friendly, and helpful. She helped make our one night stay feel so comfortable and smooth. In the morning we were greeted by two lovely ladies at breakfast who were just so so friendly to us and to all the other people having breakfast. The room was extremely clean and exactly how we wanted. We had the best night of sleep at our home away from home. I never give reviews about anything but after my experience today and last night with the staff at the hotel I just had to make a review. I don't know who hired these individuals but their boss and managers need to know they seriously went above and beyond to make our stay special and I am definitely staying here again when we come down this way again.
