Great seats and easy to buy tickets on-line. Parking was a bit of a challenge but we eventually found a place. Loved that we could get wine to take into the theater with us. We just had popcorn but real food was available to order & take to your seat. It was rather bizarre that a lady chose to stand in the cordoned off area that formed the line & was talking to friends with no regard to the fact she was blocking the way of people who wanted to place a good order. Quite interesting that there are no directions re ordering & picking up food & beverages. Maybe they don't know about tourists & how diverse things can be in other areas (order at your seat, etc!) read more

Love the fact that you can get things like chicken sandwiches and nuggets here for theater food. That's awesome. Just leave time to get it fixed before your show. An extra 10 minutes should do it. Seats are awesome, the stadium type seating is also a big plus for me. And when I go with someone who needs it, it's really great to have the area for handicap seats on the main level. IMAX is worth a try, but not a necessity. I enjoyed seeing a movie there once and might do it again for something I'm really excited for, but not all the time. read more

The Regal Crown Club does not offer a clear path to buying a ticket in advance. (Fandango was also unworkable.) The phone number offers no option for speaking with a real person. I have spent an hour online trying to buy a ticket in advance, but this has proved impossible. The online system is not working, and if there's a way to speak with a real person without going into the theater in person, I would like to know what that might be! Technology does not always work. Winrock is really unfriendly to handicapped patrons. I never did like the steep steps to get to my seat, but it's even worse now that I need a walker (fortunately, went with a friend, left the walker on the first row, managed to climb the stairs holding on to the railing, but... honestly!) Did find the seats comfortable, but they now have computerized tickets rather than a real box office (thanks again, friend, who knew how to use it) and the sign on the wall above it showed the wrong show time to boot. I miss High Ridge, but think I'll stick to the Guild now. read more

Came here to watch the new Godzilla! We didn't purchase our tickets in advance so I wasn't too sure what to expect as far as seating. The parking lot wad pretty packed but I was still able to get parking that wasn't too far away. I do like that their box office or ticket windows are inside, especially for those days of extreme heat or cold during the seasons. Also, I like that you can purchase or print your tickets if you bought them ahead of time at the self serve kiosks inside! I purchased mine here to beat the line! it is very easy to use and it prints your tickets out right there! The food is pretty typical theatre treats and they offer the (1) free refill for the large popcorn and soda which I think is a must for the movies. We watched Godzilla in Auditorium 1. It was just a regular showing, so no 3D or any of that fancy stuff but nonetheless very comfy seating. Roomy and not super tight seating. The screen was very large, every seat was a good seat. We were in Row I, seat 16 & 17 which were selected for us by the kiosk. I wasn't mad at it. I don't come here often, but wouldn't mind returning again soon! read more

After my last experience, and considering the fact that this is the closest Regal theater to where I live, I have continued to return to this location. The customer service has improved compared to my last visit. I do wish that they upgraded the seats at this location. After experiencing the Cottonwood Regal's recliner seats it's hard to go back to the seats this theater offers. If I stilled lived on the west side I'd just go to the cottonwood location, but unfortunately it's too far for me now so I only go when I'm in the area. If this location added the recliner seats, I'd enjoy it more. The sound and picture quality of the screens in each auditorium is pretty good. I have no complaints on that end. This theater is pretty clean, and easy to navigate through. Due to construction on the Winrock mall the parking lot has been a bit of a pain because it shrunk as they were working on one part of it near the Dillard's, then after that was completed, now the part in front of the theater is completely blocked off until they complete that part of it. Other than that it's a nice theater. I just wish they had recliner seats like the one at the cottonwood mall location. read more

Went to see Oppenheimer last night and the movie was wonderful but the theater was horrible. We waited at least 45 for popcorn. They started playing the wrong movie so people had to go out and tell them. The worst part was the temperature. I'm not sure if their AC broke or just couldn't keep up but we were all sweating and fanning ourselves the entire movie. It was pretty unbearable. read more

Visit on 2/11/17: Why I like the My Way Matinee Saturday specials: *No previews before the show. When it says that the movie starts at 10:30, it really does start at 10:30, as opposed to the previews starting at 10:30. My sister-in-law would disagree with me here because previews are part of the movie experience for her, so it depends on whether or not you view them as a waste of time. *Sound is lower so it isn't blaring in your ears. *At less than $7 a ticket, you can't argue with the price. Because it's so cheap, it's a flat rate even for students, seniors, and children. However, they do offer not just a senior discount but a student discount as well for regular matinee shows. Plus, I appreciate that an employee asked me how I liked the film as I left at the end. Only gripe is that I've also been here before on a Saturday night with lines almost out the door and only two employees working the box office. Also, the concession lines look somewhat congested from time to time, so that's only part of the reason I bring my own food. read more

Terrible. Went for top gun maverick and some other people were in reserved seats. This happened to at least two other groups of people. The staff said this had been going on all night. When I went in nobody checked my tickets, they probably have people coming in not even bothering to buy tickets. On top of this they have Pepsi products. Avoid wasting your time and money in this place. read more

Seeing a good film is always a great treat for the family or yourself... but costs on concession are a bit ridiculous. This is a fun theater but could use a good cleaning. Like most movies today, Mad Max was filmed on a green screen....and maybe because of that, Regal decided to show it on a blue screen?? Long story short, the showing was cancelled due to technical difficulty with the movie theater. Was bummed about that, obviously, but that wasn't the worst part. Their customer service was over the top. Management gave us a few options to remedy their error. 1. Stay or come back in 3 hours to watch the next showing. But stay in the lobby, you can't go watch another movie while you wait. 2. Take a movie pass, and come watch it another day, and hopefully it will be fixed. Fine. But no cash refund. And what about the $30 I just spent on their concession stand? Of course, they can't offer a refund on that, either. So they offered me one extra ticket to offset the price. I wasn't a math major, but I don't think $10 equals $30. Oh and the best part, I couldn't take my popcorn/soda/candy with me -- if I wanted the extra ticket, I had to throw it away. Next time, I'll pirate it online. read more

Our family enjoys a good movie on family dates. So we have tried various movie theaters throughout the Albuquerque area. So of course when the Regal Winrock opened it became one of our favorites. What makes it different well it is conventionally located in the uptown area with easy access to all of us. The staff keeps its lobby, concessions, restrooms and theaters very clean. They are normally very well staffed and keep you moving and not standing in crowded lines both in purchasing your tickets or concessions. We have since downloaded their application which allows us to pre purchase our tickets and totally avoid that line. At the concessions their popcorn is alway fresh and perfectly popped. If you ask they give you smaller containers to share a large bucket. My family turns into their inner child and enjoy a large Icees. Now the movie experience is awesome. Comfortable seating with plenty of leg space (not that I need it). The sound is not over barring and the screens are color perfect. So as long as the movie is great and Aladdin was awesome! So my inner Disney kid gives this theater two thumbs up read more

On Dec 23, 2021, I was waiting at the information/customer service booth for almost half hour to request for a closed captioning device. Kyle Chavez, an employee in nice looking suit showed up but he does not work for that area. He went beyond his duties to get me the CC device but he has an issue of getting in secured office, etc.. He was able to provide it to me and I was able to enjoy the movie with my parents. It was a very busy day that day. read more

this place does not operate smoothly. Be expected to wait almost am hour to get to the line. If you enjoy popcorn come 2 hours early or you'll miss your movie. I stood in line for 1 hour for a small popcorn and purchased tickets online. read more

So just recently went to this theater to see Dune and somehow during the movie (or before) I lost my wallet. Upon realizing it at the end of the movie, I approached a manager in the hallway (named Solomon) to ask if anyone found a wallet and he couldn't have been more helpful in turning on the lights to help me find it. Low and behold we were able to find it. Movie was good but management was the real superstar when I was freaking out over a potential lost item. What an absolute joke this place is. The management of this theater is one of the worst I have ever seen. The RPX is overpriced crap. The sound channels are off, the screen is dark, the black levels are poor. Why in the hell should I leave my home to pay such a huge amount of money to come here? Shouldn't you be trying to earn my dollar? No contactless pay are you kidding me? Awful service. Except for the guy scanning my ticket he was the only good thing about this place. We bought our popcorn and drink through the mobile app. Received confirmation email and message that said we would be notified when our order was ready. Forty minutes later and 20 minutes into our movie we still hadn't received anything. Got in line asked the cashier if she could get our order. She asked us to get in the mobile order line, where we already were for forty minutes. The manager approached us and rudely asked what our order was. I told him and added that we were missing our movie because no one had attended us in forty minutes. He didn't acknowledge that I was speaking to him. This theater used to be great. I truly do understand that they are under staffed but the manager should have at least apologized not only to us but the rest of the folks that were in line with us. read more

This is the new movie theater in Albuquerque. Being from Dallas, Texas I was really impressed with the movie ticket prices. They are significantly cheaper than what we normally pay. The snacks at the snack bar are affordable as well. The price was impressive. I was shocked to see a small room that was used for hosting children's birthday parties. It was cool to see that space and know that they cater to children's parties. The theater has 3D capacity and IMAX... which is a bonus. Whenever we are in town, this will be our new go to movie theater. read more

Cool decor...glamorous. The rest was meh. Staff is awkward...not inviting. We ordered food up front and it was an unnatural semi embarrassing situation. We asked for Diet Coke and were told they were out but cashier attendant didn't bother to check the other drink stations...lots of prompting needed. Cheeseburger was ok, pizza was worse than expected and not worth finishing. Overpriced, obviously. Water bottle was not exactly cold. Seats in the theater were not as comfortable as other theaters in town and lighting was not dark enough during the movie. Pretty doesn't cut it. read more

Best theater in Albuquerque. Movies in RPX are absolutely awesome with bigger screen and better sound. Join the Regal Gold Crown Club for free stuff and discounts on future purchases. You save $1 off admission on the first showing of the day with the club card. Plan on long concession lines at night. You get one free refill on large popcorns and on large sodas. You'll have an unobstructed view of the screen regardless of who sits in front of you because the theaters were constructed at angles to prevent it. Wider aisles and cup holders are nice too. If you prefer middle/middle-center seating get there at least 30 minutes early. IMAX tickets are the most expensive and the screen is much smaller than IMAX screens in larger cities. I prefer RPX over IMAX at this theater - better value and better experience. read more

Friendly staff, clean theater, garbage ghetto rats as patrons. Rolling up or smoking during the movie, adding commentary or just talking during the entire movie! From start to finish! Not a single security guard or staff in sight inside the theatre. Seats are not recliners, concessions outrageously priced as usual. Theater owners if you want to stay in business you had better start investing in security, comfort, and more cost efficient concessions. There is nothing that motivates me to exchange streaming a movie to my living room as opposed to wasting my time and money to drive to a movie theater anymore! read more

Love it here at Windrock Regal Cinemas! Best and quick service. Fast con sessions and great service. There are so many viewing options, regular, RPX, IMAX, you can't better than that. The theaters are huge and pl not of sitting if you are early or late. You'll find a mix d crowd bit so children friendly! Is it expensive, well they all are unfortunately. Concession is a nightmare, arrived 30 minutes early and still didn't get into the theater on time.

Well most movie theaters are basically the same: popcorn, soda, candy, pickles and hot dogs. This is a spacious theater with nice seats, bathrooms and a clean lobby. There is nothing spectacular about this theater; it shows movies. I've been here several times for sneak previewing and I've found the staff to be a little uptight, grumpy if you will. Before a preview you have to stand in line outside regardless of the weather. We once went and it started snowing and we still had to wait outside perhaps letting us stand in the room before entering the lobby would be better?? Anyhow is nicer than most her in the 505. Theaters are like shoes you have to try it out to decide if it's right for you. read more
