To determine this rating I broke it down. Quality/Price of Svc - 5 stars. They are super reasonable with the price and I was most definately happy with the quality of work. I only have shirts and sweaters/jackets and there were only two prices. I don't remember exactly the price break down but overall I paid about 20-25% less at this place. Customer Service - 3 stars. They are pretty average in the customer service area - they aren't overly friendly but are definately respectful and prompt. Like the previous reviewer mentioned they only accept cash or checks, it is a bit of an inconvenience for those of us who don't usually carry cash or a check book -but I think in the end the price compensates for the inconvenience. read more

There are better, faster, & cheaper cleaners to go to. They don't do any of their own cleaning so everything must be sent out which will usually add an extra day or two to the pick up date. They do NOT accept any cards! Cash or check only and you MUST pay upon drop off...the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard from a cleaner that doesn't take card. I have to have half a dozen shirts & suits a week dry cleaned that I will take somewhere else because the inconvenience, service, and plain annoyance isn't worth come here. REGENCY CLEANERS SUCKS. NEVER EVER use this cleaners!!!!! If I could rate them with negative stars I would. The customer service is terrible. They ruined a California King quilt I took to them. When I picked it up it was tore in 2 places and the stuffing was totally ruined. They proceeded to tell me it wasn't their fault and I've been trying to work with them for 6 weeks to get them to make things right. And I'm going on week 7 and still no customer service. Regency cleaners has NO customer service and their staff if very negative and not friendly. I encourage you to take your cleaning to another dry cleaner location. I would leave zero stars if I could, but in order to leave a review, I'm required to leave at least one. Do NOT take anything you care about to this business. I took a dress that had been worn ONCE in to be cleaned. It was returned to me with the hem completely torn out. They refused to take responsibility for the damage or refund my money. I told the owner I would review her business, and her way of conducting business online - she shrugged her shoulders and showed me the back of her head. So, here goes... They lost, or just decided to keep a shirt of mine. I have a receipt, and a "ticket". Their response is that they are not responsible for items left, lost or damaged. They said I must have picked the item up. I explained that I hadn't been back since I dropped the item off (paid at drop off) and I thought the "ticket" was required for pickup. I was waiting for customer service to kick in, a resolution, a discussion... something. Instead, she repeated what she said before. Negative 5 stars. Worst cleaner I have been to. Suit was not ready when it was supposed to. Got the jacket back with new stains. Sent it back in. The 2nd time the sear sucker jacket came back stained blue with the liner torn out. $500 suit destroyed. Been going here for the sheer convenience since it's next to my house, they ruined my wife's sweater and they are telling me that it's not their fault, told me that it's moths that got to it. no other clothes in our closet is effected kinda strange that only the sweater that was in their care is the only piece of clothing that had rips in it and now is said that it's from moths. They told me that they would fix it, which in fact made it look worst. Will be taking our business elsewhere and working on taking them to small claims. read more

This place only takes cash and demands payment in advance. (Do they pay taxes?). The workers smell like cigarettes leaving clothing smelling like an ashtray. If you want your shirts/items lost or damaged then leave them at Regency. Read the other 1 star reviews. The first time I tried them in December, I was irked that they demanded payment up front. Then they lost a shirt. 14 items in, 13 items back. "We will look for it and call back later this week." No call. I drop by and speak to what appeared to be the manager. A few excuses and a promise to call back in two days. Nothing. Today i drop by to follow up and they put me in touch with the manager Romana. More promises and excuses. "We had to fire that employee who was sloppy at tagging." This Place IS Beyond Horrible and Unreliable! I took my Wedding Dress in to have Dry Cleaned and a few Beads sewed back on...Well they did a crappy job cleaning it, hiding the dirt underneath, didn't sew my beads back on and then to top it off...they kept the lace to my Corset! I go back to ask them to re due their service and I was straight up treated like I wore it again and I'm lying.! umm...NOOOO! So of course they refused to fix the problem! I have used this cleaners for a few years. Their price is very reasonable and the ladies are very nice. However, I took a nice jacket into be cleaned at the end of last fall/winter season. I didn't take it out of the plastic bag until I needed to wear it this week the first week in October. The jacket was 1/3'd it's size. I went to the store where I purchased and asked if they had experienced problems with the jacket. They had not, it's a local store and they would have been honest with me. I went to the cleaners and they flatly refused to do anything about ruining my jacket. The owner has a policy i saw on the wall that says "maximum claim in the event of loss or damage, 3 x's the cost of the cleaning". In this case they charged me $2.50. The best I could have expected given this statement was $7.50 for my $85.00 jacket. This is just a word to the wise..I'd never give them anything valuable to clean! read more

If I could give a zero rating to regency cleaners I would. I took my granddaughter's brand new never worn $200.00 dress to have it pressed after it got wrinkled. The Clerk said they could not do it on site and would have to send it out to be dry cleaned. I explained the dress did not need dry cleaning and only needed to have the wrinkles steamed out. After securing their fee upfront their turnaround time was to have been one week. I should've trusted my gut feeling when I walked into the cleaners, but I hesitantly turned over my granddaughter's dress. I had a bad vibe! You know that inner voice that all of us women get. When I arrived one week later, I was told that the dress was nowhere to be found. Somehow the clerk had been neglectful to tag the dress before it went to their Tuckwila location. After going back-and-forth with the manager numerous times I requested that we be compensated for the dress. The dress was for a special event and was not replaceable. I also requested the name of the owner of the cleaners which the manager somehow did not know. After much pressing on my part she eventually gave me his name. She offered me a portion of the cost of the dress and told me to contact the owner for the balance, because that is all she could authorize. Reluctantly, I excepted the partial payment as I had written on the customer tag that they had me sign. I was also asked not to use the number given to me to contact her again out of courtesy to her. As far as I can see, we were the injured party. I attempted to contact the owner after no results and no dress. We are still sitting here almost 3 weeks out and the dress is nowhere to be found. The manager commented that they had fired the clerk who took in our dress because she was not performing her job proficiently. We now understand that this dry cleaners is going to be reopening under new ownership. How was that a surprise? So I have a very disappointed granddaughter, a dress that was a gift to her for an event that she could not wear all because of the negligence of this dry cleaners. I would encourage all residents of the Bonney Lake area not to use this dry cleaners at all. They have a terrible reputation. I feel the dress was either damaged, stolen, or thrown away and we were unfairly treated as they were not open & honest with what happened to my dress. As far as the owner goes, I am still waiting for a phone call from Bill. I did however speak to someone at the Tuckwila location who passed a message to me from Bill (because he was too scared to speak to me )who said I was compensated completely. This is total BS, As I noted on the slip they had me sign. I Am out not only the cost of the dress but the replacement cost as well. But the one that lost the most in all of this is my granddaughter. Shame, shame, shame on this dry cleaners. I use the word very loosely, because they truly are not a dry cleaners and absolutely unprofessional. Please, please, please do yourself a favor so you do not have a heart ache and run to another dry cleaners and do not use the services from Regency cleaners. Boy did I learn a hard lesson. From here on out I will only use an on-site dry cleaners no matter what the cost is to me. read more

Fast and friendly dry cleaning. They also wash and iron when you have items that can not be dry cleaned, and they do alterations. Definitely recommend. Only takes cash or checks, so it would be nice if they would accept credit cards. Flat rate for each item, so they don't rip off women like a lot of dry cleaners do with higher rates for ladies clothing. read more

If I could give them a zero then I would. This place is a mess. I took a very expensive coat to this place and it was ruined. They couldn't "find it" for a week then finally they called and said the leather straps were ruined. They attempted to fix it with these cheap straps that were falling apart and attached them to the coat and it looks awful. this beautiful expensive theory jacket ruined. I asked them to find straps that were falling apart and they said the owner said no way. AND they gave me attitude about it. THEY WERE THE ONES WHO RUINED MY COAT!!!!! They said the owner will call me. Still no call. Not only did they ruin my Theory coat but my hemmed theory pants were the worst i have ever seen and received. Lost 2 pair of pants that belong to 2 of my best suits. Been over a month and still no resolution. Keep hearing "the owner was supposed to be in yesterday..." I have a feeling I will be headed to small claims court to resolve if compensation is not offered. Was told by employee that owner would hold her responsible for loss and take it out of her check. Horrible customer service. Took my wedding vail there, and it was supposed to be ready in 5 days. I didn't get back to pick it up until 11 days later, go in and nope 'still not ready'. What the heck! It was supposed to be ready 6 days ago. She tells me to come back the following day and nothing she can do about it. In between her trying to find my cleaning slip, she asks me to step a side so she can help the next customer that came in. Definitely do not recommend and will not go back!! read more

One star is too high. The price is not worth the pain. They always yelled at me if there was anything in the pocket. They are just horrible, mean, nasty people. Sure, they are cheap, but you could go somewhere much better for much less hassle. What drew the line for me was when I asked them if I could get my suits done by a certain day and they said they could do it. I went in to pick them up on the decided day well after the discussed time and they only had half my suits. I was leaving town the following day at 3pm and needed those suits with me. They said they could have them done before I left at noon. I came back yet another following day at noon and they had the rest of my suits but did not have one jacket because it was at their facility in Tukwila and they didn't know if they could clean it because there was a hole. Mind you, I always tell them about the hole and they had cleaned that suit multiple times prior. They told me I could drive the half-hour-plus to Tukwila to get it but they were no help as I told them the previous day I had to leave town by 3pm. I shouldn't have given them anymore chances after that but I did because of the price, and I asked the woman if I could have them done by a certain day and she told me "I can try, but I won't promise, because last time you acted like a little baby when I promised." I'm done with these horrible people. They demand to be paid up front and tell you to find a cash machine if you hand them a card. They obviously don't care enough about the customers or the business to be there, so why should customers care to give them business. read more
