They only did some minor reservations, so it mostly looks like the old Keg, inside an out. I have been to Hickory about 10 times, and the food has never disappointed me. I usually end up going with the Teriyaki sirloin, because it's so delicious. When I go to a restaurant and I order steak, if I'm not confident in their ability to cook a steak to the right "doneness", I usually order medium. I prefer medium rare, and when I go to Hickory, my steak always comes out medium rare. Perfect! My only gripe in the past, was the service of the wait staff. When Hickory first opened, sometimes one could sit at a table waiting for drinks for 25 minutes in one case. In more recent visits, I must say that the service has vastly improved. The wait staff seems to be very snappy. As I currently sit in Hickory writing this review (while ignoring my girlfriend;) ), our current server is absolutely fantastic. Hickory is definitely deserving of 5 stars now, because of the improved service.
