We had the jerk chicken with peas and rice, macaroni salad and slaw. The spice was authentic and perfectly delicious.

Awesome place. A ton of food for your money. They have different specials on different days. Definately a must go.

Finally a good Caribbean place! I was so sad when Caribbean Cove left town. There are absolutely no…read moregood Caribbean places in London unfortunately, I've tried to find one and everytime I'm extremely disappointed. When I saw that this place was open and in the same location as the former Caribbean place I was so excited and hopeful. I ordered a jerk chicken combo and woww. SO delicious. The meat is extremely juicy and flavorful. The coleslaw is delicious. The portions are a perfect size. They didn't skimp on anything. The jerk is perfect. I'm a happy girl again. The owners are so nice as well.

I haven't been to this location since On The Go Caribbean Cove was here (at one time the best…read moreJamaican food spot in London) but one day while driving by I saw this was a new place so I thought I'd check it out. I got the jerk chicken and curry goat...was not a fan of either. The jerk chicken was soggy, very salty and lacked a lot of spice/other flavours I'm used to getting with jerk chicken. The curry goat was bland as well and lacked spice as well. My friends tried the roti the goat and chicken, I had a bite of each and that same bland flavour was there. The roti shell did not taste homemade (tasted store bought) which was a huge disappointment. When I lived in Scarborough and having friends/coworkers from Guyana and Trinidad, I know the curries are supposed to have a lot of spices in them and the roti shell is supposed to be fluffy, fresh. I didn't have big expectations when I came to London but I have tried roti at another place called Triniman's kitchen and that comes to the closest to what I've eatin in Scarborough. If they can make fresh roti and curry that's spiced well so can this place! Regarding the jerk chicken and curry goat the place that was here before this place (On The Go Caribbean Cove) made both of those dishes amazingly. I'd recommend changes be made and maybe few months down the road I'll give this place another try.

I've come here a few times after their previous location at Dundas & Clarence closed…read more I've had great conversations with the family owners where they've expressed their optimism and fun/playful nature, often with the younger man jesting with the lady. This is a family run business. They are family friendly and people running the business represent multi-generational members of the family. I love their food. My personal dietary restrictions limit purchases but I've always enjoyed their chicken and vegetable/vegetarian menu options. I love the curry chicken. It's baked (healthier of the cooking options) and tastes great, and you have a choice of the size of the dish that you want, regular or large. Getting a meal comes with a side and I get the coleslaw. Much to the chagrin, of my ancestors and family, I'm not a fan of plantain (plantain is a staple food in the Caribbean).

Not much to say. Recently ordered from here one evening. Granted there was snow on the ground…read more Ordered from SkipTheDishes. The accepted my order quickly. 40 minutes later I get a call that the restaurant is cancelling my order because they don't have most of what I ordered. For a restaurant open later, 5pm is a little early to run out of food. Also why did it take you so long to advise Skip you were canceling my order. For me customer service is so important. For an error like this the least I would expect is a call from the restaurant to apologize. Disappointing and I will not be reordering.
