Awesome fish and chips. Order ahead by phone first as it can be a long wait. The halibut is their best fish choice.

An hour and a half later I still never got it, when I was told it would get here in 15 minutes. It's unfortunate, cause the food is good just not the service. THE SERVICE WAS VERY POOR AND UNFAIR.

This restaurant is unique for its serving style - if you order individual seafood, you eat with your hands from plastic bags. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that we were able to keep ourselves relatively clean. We ordered a pound of mussels with garlic sauce, crawfish with lemon pepper sauce, and a fish teriyaki dish with seafood assortment. I loved the garlic sauce, as it gave the mussels a great kick. I wouldn't recommend the crawfish, as they don't have much meat. I felt like I was just nibbling the shells for the sauce. However, the fish teriyaki was a solid choice. Overall, it was a filling and tasty meal, and it came out to less than $20 per person. With so few customers in the restaurant, service was relatively prompt, but I would recommend more frequent water refills, as the sauces were quite salty. We had to personally wave over the waitress in order to get water. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend Captain's Boil if you enjoy seafood like I do. Glad they opened up in London!

Even after sitting on platter as we ate slowly over 30 min... still excellent. If I were choosing one app this would be it. The shrimp were exceptionally good. I'd be glad to eat them all alone as an app... one of the best. Mozzarella sticks, onion rings, mini spring rolls, garlic cheese bread and potato skins were good. Would not be disappointed if I didn't taste everything else. But not great The wings are prepared very crispy with lots of batter, cooked right. But the "medium" sauce is quite mild and very sweet. Two big men left satisfied after sharing the platter as our meal so portions are good. 5 sauces were fun. Staff were very friendly. Just so busy. I think more customers than anticipated came in as usually they are very attentive. It is a typical roadhouse sport bar. We sat at the bar which was fine. Clean and decently lit.

I will not be going back. With so many restaurants available in that end of London I cannot believe that anyone would continue to go to this dive. So very rude, and the food is sub-par, at best. I can understand once, but I tried a few times (I am in the area often with friends) - Just stay away!

A really good Chinese restaurant on the West side of London Ontario, with a mix of dinner dishes,…read morenoodles, and rice and congee. The fish with 1000-year-old egg congee was top notch; the fish was gently cooked, and the amt. of preserved egg was appropriate. The congee base was strong and appropriately thick without it being stiff. The corn and taro congee had a bit less flavor. The pea pod leaf vegetable was nicely stir-fried and retained a lot of heat. My reservation is usually that the veggie becomes too oily, but this time it seemed okay. The stir-fried beef with button mushrooms was top notch; the beef was tender, and the button mushrooms provided textural contrast to the beef. The beef tendon was also really soft, in a really nice way. The shrimp with egg rice noodle is always a classic, egg gently used as a sauce and the noodle with an appropriate bite to it. The place closes down (i.e. the patrons have to leave by 9p) at 9p, which makes for a bit of a rushed dinner, so beware.

However multiple items listed were not available and the price shown was often lower than the actual price. This is misleading to customers. In terms of service the staff were rude and short. They obviously wanted me to order as fast as possible and leave. I ended up with the chow fen And I added extra beef for about 9 CAD. Pleasantly the portion was much larger than I thought and they definitely added extra beef. It is an oily and noodle and beefy dish with good flavor. Not exactly the healthiest but I was craving this and it satisfied the craving. I might come back next time if I knew what I wanted ahead of time so I can skip the rude staff.

I'm talking about London, Ontario, where Jamie W. and I stopped on a road trip from Toronto back to Detroit. There were several food court options, but most were in the more calorific range. I ended up at this strange hybrid between a fish & chips shop and a Korean fast food stop. Thus the name. I ordered the $8.95 Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap and asked them if they could replace the rice with a salad. To their credit, they complied after some discussion, but the result was lacking - stone cold and gooey with a teriyakis-style sauce (photo: http://bit.ly/3b8hVOS). This time was a dinner for three. We started with a dozen oysters on the half shell that were fresh and delicious. Appreciated that we were notified that they have Happy Hour Tues-Fri 3pm-5pm with 1/2 price oysters. Also had the Fried Smelts which were tasty. Two of us had Craft burgers. This time they did arrive as ordered (last time med rare arrived well done) but they mixed the orders. One was med rare and the other rare. Not nice having to change burgers after each taking a bite. Despite the mix up the juicy burgers and fries were excellent. The other order was the Braised Beef Cheek Birria Grilled Cheese. This was very good but a touch pricey at $28 for what you get. Speaking of price, the craft burger is $24. I asked for a side of mayo for the fries and it arrived promptly. They charged $2 for the mayo which was not mentioned. Considering that our total bill ran $250 it seemed out of place to charge for mayo. One of the best reasons to come to Craft Farmacy is to try craft beers which they rotate regularly. We each enjoyed a beer or two. For desert we ordered their Chai Crème Brûlée and Crack Pie with gelato. Both are highly recommended. We also had glass of sherry that unfortunately was off and had to be sent back. Replaced with a glass of Port. When the bill arrived the sherry was not removed, they did take it out when we caught the mistake. Our meal was much better than the last visit. All of the food was well prepared this time but the little mistakes on burger mixup and sherry on the bill were disappointing. Still if looking for a good burger and a great beer you can do a lot worse than Craft Farmacy.
