I found Caroline on Groupons and she had a special, I was fearful of doing permanent make-up cuz if it goes wrong, you are doomed was my thought.... I had my eyeliner and eyebrows done, Caroline is a polite and soft spoken gal. One great thing about her is that she will give you suggestion but will listen to what you want and make you happy...that is what I look for! Very professional and very experience gal to go and do this....she will put away all your fears! My eyebrows was the best, she recommended a color that I asked won't turn red over time due to my Asian pigments. One of my eyebrow was naturally higher than the other and she corrected it as she did the permanent make up. My eyeliner was thinner than I wanted but that was due to me bleeding and bruising easily, my skin was thin there. I came back this week after 2 months, wanted to wait after healing and had it thicken, she did a great job...exactly what I wanted, this time my eyes didn't bleed or bruised, it had toughen up over time is my guess! Well...my last picture on here, is my eyebrows and eyeliner completely done and I have no make up on (per say ! Thank Caroline, your expertise had put my fear away about permanent make up, and to make me feel confident and beautiful without having to put anymore make up on and fearing it will rub off, I can wake up, go outdoor activities without my make up bag.

Finally gave in and got lash extensions. I was wary because I had them a lonnngggg time ago and…read moredidn't enjoy them, and two, I'm not high maintenance and three, I'm pretty active doing a lot of of hot yoga and using a sleeping mask, so I figured lash extensions, although nice, would not fit my lifestyle. Fortunately, I have a friend that also does hot yoga, and is active and swears by this place that the extensions last a longtime even after multiple sweaty work out sessions. I was more inclined to try them knowing someone first hand and who knows my struggle. So I gave in. I mean I live in San Diego and drove all the way up here to get extensions, so they're obviously worth every penny (a lot of pretty pennies). Definitely took a lot of time off my primping routine. They are so lightweight! Can't even tell they're there. I wear glasses a lot, and Mary (my lash lady) suggested lashes that wouldn't hit my lenses..how perfect! They are customizable, I got the hybrid lashes. Anyway, they look pretty good so far, it's been about 2 weeks. Getting a fill next week. They lasted with multiple sweaty yoga sessions, showers and sleeping with an eye mask. I actually think it taught me to be more gentle with my eyes and not touch or rub them--- took me forever to finally break that habit and who knew all I had to do was get extensions.

Her skill level is incredible. She took her time and was so detailed with every facet of my makeup but also efficiently managed the time we had to a T. She was professional and friendly, just above and beyond...even making sure that I stopped to eat! I wanted a natural look but to also feel glamorous at the same time.
