Charity was extremely kind and answered all my questions -- she also made me feel extremely comfortable considering how little clothing is involved. She helped me decide on a shade and made pleasant conversation during the process. As a first timer, I was surprised how quickly the session was. In and out the door within 20 minutes. I paid extra for the rapid dry and I'm glad I did as I was able to shower before bed which was nice. The salon is clean and cozy, the price considering my add ons (I also did the hydration spray) seemed reasonable, and the shade is beautiful and very natural looking. The only thing I wish were different is the creases I have on my wrists and marks on my heels. She did apply a drying powder and wiped my hands and feet with wet wipes, but those areas look a bit streaky. Overall though, I've gotten several compliments on how natural it looks and I'm glad that I went! I'll be back.

She talked to me throughout to distract me from the pain, but honestly it was not that painful. I was surprised that my skin was not super red afterward. She offered me a rosewater wipe to use prior the waxing and the treatment room was clean. She did a thorough job and used an oil by the brand Fur to finish, and I decided to purchase the travel rollerball, which totally helped eliminate any ingrown hairs or red bumps that were trying to come out. I kept using the rollerball for weeks after, and no ingrowns! I shopped around the boutique after my treatment and was astounded at the reasonable prices on the super cute clothes, jewelry, and other accessories and fun things in the shop. I left with a dress, a couple cute tops, a bracelet and earrings by Scout (love that brand), and a travel candle, plus the Fur rollerball. I believe the Brazilian bikini wax was $65, and I left a nice tip and walked away with fun new stuff without spending a ton over my gift card amount of $115. Side note--the toilet would not flush when I used their restroom, and let them know, so they shut it down for customer use while I was there. I think it's an older building and perhaps sensitive plumbing. This did not affect my experience in any way. Overall I recommend Riley and this awesome little boutique if you live near the Carlsbad area or are visiting!

Before, my eyes would be bloodshot and swollen for day after and the lashes were way too long for my eyes. When I first went to Ava, she knew just want I was looking for after sharing 1-2 inspo picks. What's nice too is that, I was able to have my appointment as a fill rather than needing to get my lashes removed. After just one hour, I was done! I paid through Venmo which gives me the option to tip (always do because Ava is that girl) and I was able to make future appointments with her via Vagaro. If something comes up too, I'm able to quickly text Ava. I see her weekly for a mini hybrid fill which is $50 and it takes less than an hour. She's sweet, quick, and makes you feel comfortable. I've definitely snoozed practically every application and I'm sure she's heard me snoring‍. Not only is Ava amazing at what she does, this place is very aesthetically pleasing and easily accessible. There's always parking out front too! In the lobby area, there's things to purchase like tshirts, candles, and cute sunnys. This makes it very convenient if you're needing to buy a nice gift or if you want to treat yourself.
