They leaked…read morethrough our ceiling one day (pics attached) & our neighbors ceiling a week later & in the hallway. The fire department even came one day, it was a whole ordeal. I suspect they leaked through every building they did. The roofers only come on rainy days, & leave the roof exposed to the rain, thus all the leaks. They come & go as they please, they come one day, then don't show up for a week- took weeks just to do our roof. Not only did we have to deal with all this leaking, the roofers were careless with our plants & furniture on the patio, even after asking them countless times to try to please try to protect it. They threw tons of trash, a whole dumpster full, all over our balcony, crushing our plants. They didn't keep up a tarp, refused to throw trash down the side of the building instead chose to continue throwing it onto/over our balcony. I understand roofing is a messy job & some stuff is going to fall, but they just didn't even try at all. To make matters more upsetting the owner or higher up or manager, they wouldn't give us a name, put up a ladder to our balcony, knocked on our window while we're working, just to then proceed to be extremely rude & condescending to us, extremely unprofessional, refusing to even acknowledge or take responsibility or give a sincere apology. Instead he told us he knows he's rude, he said his daughter says the same thing, weird? They did say they would reimburse us for our damaged plants, but instead gave us the run around & wasted our time. I never write reviews, but this whole ordeal, especially the way the manager or owner or whoever he was spoke to us led me to write this. Stay away from Cooper roofing, where integrity never mattered.

I called Cooper Roofing with an emergency leak after the last rain storm, and someone was able to come out that day. I didn't even need to leave work early or be home for the inspection. Within two days I got a quote with options to either repair the leak or do a complete roof replacement (my roof is over 20 years old). I really liked that they gave me the options to decide which solution would work better with my budget. After talking to the project manager, we decided that the repair would be fine for now. I never felt pressured or "sold" the more expensive option - the project manager seemed very honest and reliable. The work was completed about a week later and I haven't had any problems since. The workers showed up when scheduled and completed all the work that day. I even recommended Cooper Roofing to my neighbors and they were thrilled with their work also. I hired Munz Roofing and Siding to complete a siding project, and I could not be happier with the entire experience. From the start, their consultant, Stephen M., came out and provided helpful education, a thorough walkthrough, zero pressure, and a timely quote for several different product options. Munz ultimately provided the best quote among the three local companies that came out. Eric G., their general manager, also came out to review the plan and clearly outlined the steps they would take to protect our garden beds during the siding removal and installation. That level of communication and attention to detail gave us a lot of confidence going into the project. Project Manager Chris and installer Oleg then completed the project in 9.5 days, which was even half a day ahead of their original 10-day estimate. Chris checked in every day to see if we had any questions or concerns, and Oleg's work was outstanding. His craftsmanship and attention to detail were top notch, and he spent at least a half hour cleaning up every day before leaving. One thing that really stood out was that Oleg took the time to point out how well the previous siding job had been done when the house was built about 40 years ago. He noted that the original wrapping had been applied with meticulous precision, which helped explain why there was minimal water damage to the existing boards. That honesty was appreciated, especially because there was never a moment where the crew attempted to upsell us on unnecessary work. They fixed everything the other group messed up and then completed the job that was intended. My parents had their cedar shake siding replaced with Hardie siding and their house looks brand new! Freddy, Dastan, and Talay were a great team. They worked so hard every day they were here and were meticulous in their work. They were so helpful with other things as well. A few times they would see me trying to lift something heavy and one of them came right over and said let me get that for you. Freddy was such a sweet guy in charge and if you ever needed anything you could always just give him a call. The guys cleaned up every day after they worked even when it started to rain on them which happened a few times. These guys were the best and we are so happy with the work they did.

Three other "professional" roofing groups evaluated and the suggestions ranged from tearing down the wall and rebuilding, using caulk along the roof line, and another was rerouting a gutter. All first said "oh yeah, it's just a gutter cleaning" until I showed them that gutters weren't clogged and working just fine. The caulk guy was the most convincing, so I gave it a try - no change whatsoever. I was frustrated and losing hope. Moving on, I looked through Yelp for other roofers. I found one - Doyle, that for some reason stood out. I sent them a message and quickly received back a professional reply, asking when they could come out to evaluate. After some quick texts we set up a date. Afterwards I thought I should get more than one quote, so I used the Yelp "call for help" that sends out the request to (it seems) everyone in the world. [I will never use the Yelp random call for help thing again. I was text and phone bombed for three weeks after that. Not an exaggeration. Calls came in from all over the country - Texas, New York, Florida, Tennessee and more. I kept blocking numbers until it stopped - what a miserable experience! Even when I posted a public complaint one company just accelerated the calls and texts.] This is the first area Doyle stood out - that one initial contact via text (my preference) and some back and forth setting up the appointment. All done quickly and without being harassed. The polite professionalism and quick response put me right at ease. The owner, Sean, came onsite (on time and with text updates) and brought Tom, who did the evaluation. Tom was great - he explained in great detail the potential causes for the leak could be and pointed to an area where two sides came together. He said that a problem there was the most likely cause. He went up and looked around asked if I wanted to come up and see firsthand. I did and was blown away. He pointed to an area that clearly was suspect. The others had talked about everything but this area as the issue. Sean and Tom explained how they operate and what to expect (in clear detail). I had a few other requests unrelated to the leak and it was a quick "no problem, we can do that" and gave me a very reasonable price/estimate for it all on the spot. We arranged a convenient date. Sean send a contract electronically and I was able to sign remotely. Tom and another co-worker came on the date and time agreed on (a Sunday) actually a bit earlier than expected and immediately set up. Everything we agreed to was done. Tom kept me updated as to progress. Sean forwarded pictures on of the work that was completed - especially nice since some of the areas are impossible to see without climbing up to steep areas of the roof. Before they left Tom and his co-worker cleaned up everything - there was no mess or follow up I needed to do. All done with no surprises, no extra charges, and no BS. The work was done in pretty much a full day, as stated. The guys that came were efficient at the job and worked steadily throughout the day. After the job was done, they cleaned up pretty well. They do not work right they do not capture anything by the curb/mail box of my house or after 5pm. I was never given a receipt for these camera. Jenson came by to look at the roof and said he would send someone to reattach the siding. That was December 3rd. I have reached out to the company several times but get no response. They promised a quote for the roof job and that was never delivered. I guess I have to call another company and pay to get my siding reattached. They do a nice job, but obviously don't care once the work is complete. If this is how they treat a return customer I can't recommend this company.
