After pulling up the order, the employee found one item and then starting conversing with the female employee, clearly personal holiday related conversation. My wife told the employee, the order has these additional items, to which the employee retrieved one more then continued with his personal conversation. Again, reminded there are more items on the order then he retrieved one more item and then promptly ignored us again. This continued until he couldn't find an item then walked away, stating he couldn't find it. He then got dressed with street clothes and walked out the store. This degree of rudeness, flippant and inconsiderate behavior just seems unacceptable for a professional retail operation.

She goes above and beyond to help me get the scripts. She calls me if the script is delayed. She calls other pharmacists to get the meds if she cannot fill it in time. The phone is always answered by a human being. Today, she helped me get a script and called my insurance company to get support. Ultimately, she got it done. After being abused and ignored at CVS for way too long- I hope that others joined the CVS exodus and run, don't walk across the street to Metro Scripts

This is my to go CVS and it has been here for a very long time…read more They just reorganized the store and unfortunately as a sign of the times, a lot of stuff is locked in glass cases. So you have to ask for a store associate to help you unlock the items you want. The positive side to that's is that there seems to be more room in the aisles now. There's also a phamarcy here and I believe they are either open late or they are 24 hours just like the store. Pretty tycpical CVS otherwise as far as what's available. The staff is friendly for the most part.

I've been coming to Newtown Pharmacy for years. They've had several location over the years. They…read moreuse to be in Kam Lun Supermarket, across from Georgia diner, and perhaps other spots I can't remember at the moment. They finally settled down on Justice Ave. It's a small pharmacy but a very efficient one. Photocopies are the old school 5 cent price, the owner/pharmacist is a always a nice mellow dude. His staff are always friendly and helpful, and the wait time for your medicine is never longer than 5 minutes. They have a 2 car driveway in the back for customers but it's usually filled. Newtown Pharmacy is less than half a block away from the Grand Ave Newtown train station and Q58 bus stop. Also, their items on random household stuff like shampoo, face wash, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc are not marked up too high for an independently owned pharmaceutical business. There are many other independently owned pharmacies along Broadway that have much higher prices. So when it comes to competitive pricing, Newtown Pharmacy would rank high on my list in Elmhurst. Their prices are not bad considering that there are 2 Walgreens stores, Duane Reade, and a Target all nearby.
