The one negative that i noticed when i arrived while waiting in the lobby was it smelled like cigarettes not sure if all of the staff smokes but once i got home and left i still had that cigarette smell that is driving me crazy. I noticed it more during the head massage service both me and my friend were in the same room so i dont know if it was her masseus or mine or both. That is my only negative hence why its 3 stars.. When it was over I gave my guy a tip and I had told my niece she was responsible for tipping her guy. She is a college student so she gave the guy $5. He came running back and threw the $5 bill back at her. We were really confused but the man at the desk pointed out their "tip guide" which said $12 for foot massage. It was poorly handled and also if it is a guide why would he refuse any tip? According to their guide I didn't tip enough with $10. Do they not understand that a tip is voluntarily given for good service? A guide is like a suggestion. If they require a certain amount perhaps they need to reflect it in their prices. I'm sure there are plenty of other foot spas on Long Island that do not have tip requirements. Prior to today my rating would have been 5 stars but this situation was handled very poorly. It was unprofessional and obnoxious to throw money back at a young girl because "it wasn't enough" according to their "guide" which would make it a 37.5% tip! The masseuse did not ask me what I wanted or how hard, and he did not speak English very well. The first half of the massage he kept the towel on and massaged me through the towel. It got better when he took it off and used oil on my skin. He then used hot coals which was nice but then finished with a thin, rough warm towel that turned cold pretty quickly. He finished up the massage and that was it. 60 min rub, without the 20 min foot massage! I didn't say anything because 39 dollars is a good price for a massage, but the massage was not that great and I did not get everything I thought I was paying for. Lastly, it did not seem like a very clean place or like they took much care in keeping it sanitary. 2 stars because of the decent value but overall terrible experience.

However, I just couldn't find the right place. When I contacted All Island Massage a woman named Laureen got back to me quickly to set up a time and arrange what services I would be having done. She was very professional and I thought her prices were reasonable! I went on a Thursday after 3. Laureen met me when I first came in and brought me right to the massage room. I received the one hour body massage and European facial plus a wax. She did a very good job and was so nice. I felt very comfortable at the establishment. The massage location is a chiropractic office so when you drive there this is what you should look for. I will definitely be going back!
