After 3 seconds of telling me to change she comes in while I'm taking off my shirt as the man walks by (don't know if he saw) After saying "be careful!" to her she makes the guy massage me. Ok. So I called the place and asked the receptionist advice regarding their massage with the groupon deal of 39 dollars. They lady told me not to purchase the groupon, simply come in and she will give me the groupon price. The massage was good, but the employees were constantly talking and walking back and forth. It can be frustrating if you want complete silence. After paying, I gave the masseuse a tip and the receptionist told me that I should give her more money because it was a hour massage. I went to this place due to finding it on Groupon. I purchased a couples massage that $99 dollars. When me and my boyfriend arrived they scanned the Groupon voucher and stated that the Groupon was only for a Swedish massage and to get a deep tissue massage and a hot stone massage together it would be $10 each. So we agreed to it and the receptionist stated that she would charge my card $40. I asked her how did she come with that price and she stated that it was to included tip because she didn't want to charge my card twice. Long story short I decided to go with $20 dollar tip since it was me and my boyfriend, but one I didn't like how they were hovering around me to see how much I would tip and two I didn't like that they're asking for a tip before they even started. Thats just so unprofessional and tacky. They took us to one of the rooms and this wasn't my first time at a spa but this one is so small and dirty looking. I was very disappointed with the decor of the place. I felt bad because this was my boyfriends first massage experience and he was okay with it but I felt like I was ripped off. The massage was okay in my opinion and the lady who was doing my boyfriend's massage kept leaving and answer the door and then they literally stopped the massage before the hour was up. I have been grouponing throughout the area to find the best massage place where I live and this place was hands down my favorite. Went for a couples massage both masseuses were excellent. I have some back and neck issues and they got all my knots out. Hot stone massage was also a nice touch. Only downfall is the small space, but I didn't mind. Also you have to pay a couple bucks for tax when using the groupon and parking can be hard to find at times. They also offer specials on certain days, so check that out. Update: After being a returning customer over several years, I stopped going to this place. I received a single massage and noticed the massage had gotten much stronger (I was on my stomach and had a female massage therapist) When it was time for me to get flipped to my back I noticed they had changed people on me to a man who was oddly trying to massage areas a bit too close for comfort like around my groin muscles. When trying to explain to him that I was uncomfortable with having people change on me mid massage without my permission, he had no clue what I was saying. My girlfriend and I purchased a groupon for an $84 couples massage at the 505 Hicksville Rd location. I called a week ahead to be sure there was availability and schedule, and the woman stated the Groupon price would be honored. I purchased the groupon and paid with my credit card. When I arrived, there was no one at the counter. When she came out, she insisted I owed $84 cash before bringing us back, despite showing her my Groupon voucher. I tried to show that I had paid via Groupon and asked for the wifi password to show her, but she just called the owner on the phone who I scheduled with, and the woman stated the payment was due. I was unsure of it, but couldn't check my bank statement on Chase app without wifi. I paid the $84 and we went back. The room was very small and the woman brought us back without giving us any instruction. She came back and told us to undress. We did so and got on the small tables under a small sheet and paper sheet to try to not be exposed. When she came back in (before my girlfriend was even fully on the table, she told us to get out from under the sheet, pulling my girlfriend up leaving us both exposed. This was my girlfriend's first massage experience and we were both very uncomfortable. The room didn't have doors, just a curtain, which they failed to completely close most of the time, though there were other people in the hallways. It was a couples massage- WE DIDN'T GET MASSAGED AT THE SAME TIME. I had "hot rocks" which were cold on my back for 25 minutes as the woman worked on my girlfriend. The massuse was in and out of the room- leaving my girlfriend without a towel for up to six minutes at a time. My girlfriend did not get a massage, it had no pressure and was just light rubbing or karate chopping. Then, there was yelling and arguing coming from the front as a couple was there for a 1pm couples massage and due to there only being one couple's room they were denied a massage. They insisted a refund being that they had a babysitter at their home who had to be paid and no one ever called them to say the appointment couldn't be upheld. Rightly so, the man called the owner- arguing for a refund and stating he did not want to disturb everyone there (which we were- how do you relax when there is yelling?). The owner was so rude to him, saying the man's behavior was "shameful" and the owner would sue the man and saying he was violent. The owner refused to come speak to the man or give him a refund or anything. This continued the entire rest of the time. I finally started to get massaged, the woman started very rough and painful, then they switched people on me. The next woman gave a decent massage, but also would leave frequently and there was so much chaos! My poor girlfriend had to wait 20 minutes or so for me to be done, with not even hot stone or anything. Both massages, they pulled the towels down much too far beneath our butts for our comfort and when I tried to fix it, she pulled it down again. When we were done, the man was still arguing with the owner. I used my girlfriend's phone to check my bank statement and saw that I had the $84 charge from Groupon. I spoke to my massuse at the front about being scammed and insisted on speaking to the owner. I explained the situation, he tried to claim the groupon was not redeemed, without even asking for my name or anything. Eventually, after arguing, he gave me the $84 cash back. Spa 505 is the epitome of a cheap Groupon massage. I called ahead and made an appointment for 1pm. A friend did the same. When we arrived, at 12:50pm, they told us that they were running late and we would have to wait twenty minutes. Twenty minutes became thirty, and eventually stretched into a full forty minutes. I hit the table just after 1:30pm. A masseuse came in, and told me she would start the massage, until my scheduled masseuse was free to begin her work. She was not particularly good. It seemed as though she was still training, and totally lacked the confidence and strength necessary. When the actual masseuse came in, she jumped right in. She was very good and clearly knew exactly what she was doing. I got a nice back and leg massage, followed by a quick hot stone treatment. Then she gave me a chest, arm, and quadricep massage. I left feeling refreshed. The spa itself was pleasant. There was a nice waiting area. The massage rooms were private, with soothing, dim lighting. Relaxing, generic meditation music played on repeat. The massage I received was fine, but I'm only giving 3 stars because of customer service. In short, every single person that walked in (on a saturday) with a groupon, which seemed to be most people, were told that the groupons were only honored monday- thursday. They did seem to accommodate all these requests/customers, but I know in my case, I specifically said I had a groupon when I made the appointment. I don't know if the monday - thursday policy was listed in the fine print of their groupons, but if so it was not made clear when booking an appointment. So this was my first massage I've ever gotten, so needless to say I didn't know what to expect. Luckily I was participating in this with my girlfriend who is no stranger to massages. It was a bit sketchy from the beginning but hey, let's go with the flow. It started out with a massage through a towel and then turned into the massage oil...then came the elbow and the knuckles. I must say, I'm usually impervious to pain but the elbow to the lower back was a bit much and I must say, it was quite painful. So moving on, the elbow of the masseuse played a major role in this massage. Fast forward to my legs...I have very muscular legs and I'm assuming they're very tense so, again with the elbows...she began working on them and you know that pressure point right below the calf muscles? Yeah, it hurt. Now from my girlfriends point of view... A male masseuse was working on her, and this time, it was the knuckles. Needless to say, she know had a bruise down the left side of her spine from the top of her thoracic to the top of her lumbar area. Not too sure if that's normal. The icing on the cake...during the part where they massage your head? Yeah she said the male masseuse pulled her in an inappropriate manner...no good sir. *he was wearing bright red shoes* So in conclusion, I don't think I will be returning to this establishment. My massage therapist never asked me to turn over, so for an hour, I had my head in the cushioned hole...which wasn't that cushiony after 30 minutes...actually had a headache and my face hurt after I was finished Massage therapist left the room several times with the door wide open as your lying there naked....wtf! Spent the first 15 or so minutes massaging me through a towel on my back...I've had this done at many places, but it's usually only done for a couple of minutes...had to literally ask her if the entire massage was going to be this way to get her to finally pull the towel back and give me a real massage! I actually had back pain that night and early the next day. I called made to make an appointment for a couples massage, I mentioned the groupon and the special pricing due to a groupon coupon. The Groupon is originally for $100 and with the coupon it was $80 which is what my picture shows! My massage started around 8:35-8:40 and ended at approximately 9:40. THE OWNERS EXCUSE FOR CHARGING US EXTRA WAS THAT WE GOT A 75 minute massage. A 75 MIN MASSAGE THAT I DID NOT ASK FOR and which in reality was not that long. After explaining to her that I made an appointment for the Groupon promo not for the 75min I got her to bring it down to $100, which I am still not happy about because there was no need for me to have to pay more, but I did not want to start arguing with these people. I purchased a Groupon for this business, It expired on October 11th. I went in on October 7th as a walk-in. The store was completely empty and quiet. I asked to redeem my groupon. She looked at the groupon and told me that they were COMPLETELY BOOKED until today October 17. My husband surprised me with a couples massage at Spa 505. No the place was not the luxurious essential oil smelling place, but it was clean. The front desk lady told us that the Groupon was for a Swedish massage and that we could get a deep tissue for an additional $20. the ladies there were nice enough and it was the BEST deep tissue massage I have ever received. It was deep pressure but felt so good, the masseuse had to stop and ask if I was ok because I didn't know I was groaning because it was perfect. The only weird part was the ladies were speaking in their Asian language (not sure if it was Korean or Chinese) and it was obvious they were talking about me and my husband. I chose not to feel offended because they did a great job and were seemingly nice. I walked in and the guy at the desk, who I assume is the owner, first tried to argue that I made a same day appointment and couldn't use my Groupon though I made the appointment a week in advance. I left stating I was going to request a refund. Knowing I already showed him the groupon, I called the Groupon 800 number from the parking lot. While on the phone with the nice lady at Groupon she informed me he already redeemed my Groupon though not giving me any service. Customer service rectified my account for me. As she was finalizing my refund, he proceeds to continuously knock on my window and harass me in my car. After politely asking him to stop he continued. At this point I felt very nervous as I was in parking lot alone. I explained to him I would call the police if he didn't stop and leave me alone. He proceeded to threaten that if I called the police he would tell them that I punched his wall; which did not happen. Been to 505 a number of times over past 2 years when I need to work out the knots and spasms. Each practitioner has been very strong and I left feeling that they were worth every dime and more. If you want a glamour spa experience, this is not for you. If you want to improve your health with regular and affordable massage, I recommend. The only reason I give a 4 star is that there should be some type of health questionnaire. For example, if you are on a blood thinner, or have had a health concern and do not have the knowledge as to whether you would be a good candidate, I would consult your physician prior to considering. read more

It started out ok when one of the ladies started my massage, then about 10 minutes in a man came in requesting her so she left & then the owner came in to finish my massage. He was rough & I usual can handle that with a massage but even when I said I was in pain he continued to work on my shoulder. I left in pain & came home with a bruise. I have never had that before with a massage. Yes the groupon deal is great but it was not worth it to have a big bruise on my thigh & a worse pain in my shoulder. read more
