I wish I could give this place zero stars. I'm currently pregnant and dealing with significant back pain, so I called around looking for a last-minute prenatal massage. I was told they could accommodate me, which is the only reason I booked. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. I was placed on a hard table and asked to lie on my sides, and for the entire hour my thighs and lower legs were lightly rubbed with oil. There was no pressure at all, and I was never worked on in my neck, shoulders, or back--the areas where my pain actually is. I spent the entire session waiting for it to end and left feeling worse than when I arrived. If this business does not truly offer prenatal massage services, they should be honest about that instead of wasting a pregnant client's time and money. I would not recommend this place, especially to anyone seeking real prenatal care or pain relief. read more

So my friend recommended we try this place because she has been here before and enjoyed her experience so i was excited and defintely could use the relaxation! Everyone was very friendly place very clean. This place is nestled in a shopping center which has plenty of parking. We did the foot massage and hair/head massage. My masseus had great pressure i really enjoyed the scalp massage and deep conditoning that was done. The one negative that i noticed when i arrived while waiting in the lobby was it smelled like cigarettes not sure if all of the staff smokes but once i got home and left i still had that cigarette smell that is driving me crazy. I noticed it more during the head massage service both me and my friend were in the same room so i dont know if it was her masseus or mine or both. That is my only negative hence why its 3 stars.. A spa you should come out smelling like lavendar or eucalyptus. Maybe they need more airvents or have the staff avoid smoking prior to a spa service. read more

For a facial- 4 stars for how my skin looked and felt and the ambiance and cleanliness! The products are high quality and you know exactly what you are getting from the package. The woman doing the facial did not speak English and I'm on prescription medication that is topical so I was trying to explain how my skin is extra sensitive from the retinoid. The Man at the front desk did speak English and tried to translate for us. It was a rough start! Overall, by the end of the treatment I was very happy with the treatment. It was expensive! If you have specific issues request someone with some English vocabulary or stop using some topicals that may interfere with the facial you want. Example would be certain acids/peels that you may want to run by your dermatologist. I will be back for a massage next time for ladies specials $50 ! read more

I haven't written a review in a veryyyyy long time. So you know this must be serious. Let's start with the good. I think the scalp treatment may have possibly been the absolute best treatment I've had ever. Coco I believe was her name. She took the best care of me. The massage was perfect pressure, the steam, the water, the neck and shoulder massage. And then when she blew out my hair at the end I felt like it was a warm hug. I loved it. Now for the not so great, this place smells intensely of cigarette smoke :( I'm not sure if they just inherited the scent when they opened up shop there or if there is someone actively smoking while inside the spa, but from the moment you walk in you are greeted with the scent. The spa room has the scent. And the worst part is I left with the scent :( I had to change my clothes and wash my hair 2x!!! And it still smells lol!!! I would absolutely loveeee to come back here but they need to do something about that smell. Tell the smoker to go outside or change clothes or whatever needs to be done!! I would not recommend this place to anyone, for the simple fact that they tried to make me tip more than the standard 20%. I don't appreciate when I'm being told my tip is not enough when I tip 20% this should be illegal. I went there and got the scalp treatment, a facial and a body massage which was $300 . I visited the massapequa location yesterday with my friend for a scalp treatment. We were in the same room together hoping to recieve a relaxing experience for my birthday; not at all what we recieved. They were very aggressive and everything hurt. The really deep pressure on my scalp feels like I have bruises the next day. They brushed our hair from root to ends and the tugging and pulling hurt so much and we could hear our hair being ripped out. The products they use must be very cheap because my hair was so knotted in the sink and left with frizzy hair and it felt very rough. I do not recommend this place for scalp treatment. On instagram you see a totally different experience meanwhile that is not what you recieve. I dont know if the workers are treated poorly and maybe thats why they performed such a abusive experience, nonetheless I tipped them 40$ each for the 70$ experience hoping they dont treat the next customer the same way they treated us. Hopefully they can respect every new customer coming through the door because its not nice and it was a horrible way to experience my birthday. read more

Customer experience is poor. Tried to reschedule me on the day of massage and lots of back and forth. Confirmed me for their new location when I got there, they told me that groupon not accepted there. Instead they made me drive to their old spa after confirming the location initially. The massage was sub par and painful at times. They also had zero ambiance. It was dead silent and not at all what one should expect from a massage. To top it all off, they asked for more for tip $ (who does that?) after providing a poor customer experience. I had already provided them a standard tip of 15% and was annoyed that they asked for more. Never going back again. Stay away. read more

Wow!!! This place is NOT what I was expecting. Called to make appointment day before. Get there as expected and as I walk through the back door to the front of the building..... A man walks me to a cubby... not a room. Uncomfortable hard tables (not massage tables) And points me inside. Without saying a word, he leaves. He comes back 10 min later pointing to my shirt. So I figured maybe he is asking me to take it off.... then he comes back in and proceeds to rub my head and hair... terrible feeling. I wanted to jump up and leave... Amazing experience, beautiful decor, relaxing atmosphere and top quality treatments! I love going to spas and I was not disappointed. I had a massage and a facial. Highly skilled technicians and got all the details right - eyes covered, quiet session, pillow under neck for facial. After massage she used warm towels to remove oils. Worst facial. I wanted to like this place :(. I came on a facial groupon to try it out, close to my house. Even paid an extra $20 for extraction (total ripoff and painful in tears!) To start, she left me in the room on the bed 10 min alone. Came in, put a headband on, left another 10 min. So started off awkward and annoyed. The whole facial she left the room 5 times!!!! Awkwardly leaving me just laying on the bed. Would you walk in and out of a massage??!? When she put a mask on me and said 15 min and LEFT THE ROOM, i got my phone out and was just sitting there. Would not recommend. The two stars are for cleanliness and ease of appt. She also asked me for a tip on the way out, which i reluctantly left in the room. I came here for a "couples" massage. The place was clean, smelled nice and had nice minimalist decor. The staff was friendly and my massage was great. However, I had a few problems with my experience which makes not want to come back. #1: I made my appointment a week before for 12pm. Day of I realized I was probably not going to make it for 12 and called to see if I can have it changed to 1pm instead. Called the same number I made the appointment and it appears it's a private cell number because I didn't get the standard "greeting". I was also put on hold and I can hear the lady scrambling to do something in the background. I explained my situation to her and she didn't even have me down for my 12pm appointment! After going back and forth with her she agrees that I can come at 1pm. #2: My friend forgot his wallet in his car and left to go get it. The receptionist was checking him out and commented to me "big muscles and big strong man!" And went on to ask me if he was my boyfriend or husband! I thought that was very inappropriate of her! #3: Guess who walks in to give my friend his massage....THE RECEPTIONIST!!! And she commented on his physique again while she's giving him the massage! Very unprofessional! #4: The phone kept ringing and she had to stop his massage a few times to answer the phone. She left our door open and you can hear all the noise and commotion outside. I asked her to close the door and she said it was hot in the room! My friend had to chime in and that's when she finally closed the door! Absolutely unacceptable! Halfway through the massage another lady comes and takes over and it went a lot better then! All in all....I was not 100% satisfied with the experience. (I think) did my massage his nails were so long he was scratching me the whole time and it hurt! My fiancé's lady which I have no name for kept coughing, snorting and clearing her throat THE WHOLE TIME!!! When we were half way done the massage a bunch of people started coming in and out the room making all this noise and leaving the door wide open mind u We aren't covered at all. they were getting ready for the facial but instead of walking out and letting us know what was going on they only massaged our backs not the front of our bodies so it wasn't a full body massage and instead of letting us turn they just came in like that everything felt very rushed That upset me a lot!!! Really disappointing experience. I had an appointment for 1pm, when I got there they asked me to come back in 30 minutes which I did. I was there for a 60 minute Swedish massage. During the massage, the massage therapist left the room at least 6 times for minutes at a time to talk to the other people working there or to answer the phone or the door. She then said after 45 minutes that my time was up because they were very busy. Given all the time she left the room during the massage, it lasted 35 minutes at most. I already had paid before the massage with a gift card and afterward I said I wanted a partial refund. She gave me store credit for $10. Do not go here. read more

I had the pleasure of being massaged by Angel, and that's exactly what she was an angel from heaven. Extremely professional, attentive, and just all-around good at what she does. No part of my massage was uncomfortable or unpleasant. Not to mention the spa is beautiful and well put together. All the staff there is very kind. I gave it only 3 stars because of the massage, I have had many massage's, I get one once a month and try different places, went here because it was the most convenient for me at the time. So the draping was terrible!!! As I lay face down the woman who didn't speak well english decides to pull my underwear all the way down and I quickly pulled it up because I had my period and was wearing a huge pad... I was mortified but I didn't say anything as I figured she would have seen it or realized I was uncomfortable. From my experience and through all the years of getting massages I've never experienced this, yes Massage Therapist massage the butt muscles but properly draped. Next is I told her not to massage my face, yet she touched my jaw with her oily hands. And lastly, I did ask for her to focus on my neck, well she barely worked on it. This was a mistake. My husband and I came in for what we thought would be a relaxing couples massage but instead got interrupted, painful and cold massages. The room was cold and they had the door opened to where anyone walking by could take a look at us. We had our robes on when the women walked in and we told them it was cold. There was no offer to turn up the heat the entire 2 hours or even to ask if we were still cold. My massage wasn't as painful as my husband's. That worker was SO rough with him like she was mad!! He had to physically yank his body parts away from her! Those are toes, not arms. It was very noisy as well, other people were talking to the women massaging us. There were constant conversations the whole time. And finally, when I go to pay a tip, the worker at the front desk ARGUED with me about paying more after I told her everything that happened.
