The owner and her daughter were very rude when we simply expressed our disappointment that our order is coming in later than the date that they had anticipated. Instead of at least acknowledging the inconvenience for us, the customer, or providing an explanation, we were told to talk to Trump and blame him for the tariffs. They lacked accountability. We were told that they have many other customers and that the world does not revolve around us. Their remarks were very upsetting and grossly unprovoked. The daughter kept repeating "she'll be aight" in response to my mother walking out of the store due to their lack of empathy and professionalism. She was well aware of how rude she was being because she admitted that she would not let anyone talk to her own mother like that. The owner dramatically exaggerated that things happen in life and stated that she could have had a heart attack which would have really stopped us from getting our order. She believed she did not do anything wrong because she was being calm and stating that we can we check the cameras and recordings for proof. The owner also expressed that running the store is too much for her and that she's thought about closing it down. When we said we'd leave a poor review due to their lack of empathy and poor customer service, the owner replied that "bad things happen to bad people", basically foretelling our misfortune. It was really unprofessional overall. Our disappointment as customers was met with hostility and defensiveness. I wish we read the reviews before purchasing from here. They take your kindness hostage once they receive payment. No quality of clothes is worth that level of rudeness. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I love to shop here. its family owned by Rehana and her daughters. they are beautiful people, I love their attitudes and vibes, they make me feel as if I was already at the function when trying on the clothes! Rehana and the girls always get the best outfits for me and my daughter! We get lots of compliments whenever wearing her outfits. I would never shop anywhere else for my Indian outfits. You have to go there to shop for your Indian outfits and most of all they have your size! and if they don't have it they will order it and make sure you leave with an outfit! Quick Version: Poor customer service & overpriced items. - I was recently part of a wedding where everyone in the bridal party got their ceremony outfits from this store (along with the bride & groom getting additional custom outfits for other days). You would think that after getting multiple customers from one event, the staff would be a little more sympathetic to any issues that would arise with said outfits. Instead of any kind of empathy, when our bride's lehenga zipper broke on the day of the wedding & she reached out to the staff about a solution, she was sent some of the rudest messages I've ever seen from a business. Customer service is not their strong suit at all. The bride has already posted all about her terrible experience so without going into too much detail on that, I will say that the way they responded to her proved my suspicions that they only care about making a sale. Many of our outfits were unstitched which at the time of buying them, we were told that they're so beautiful and such great quality. I purchased an unstitched lehenga worth $300 and used their seamstress, spending another $70 on alterations. I was unsure about the outfit because I didn't think the quality was worth as much as they were charging but as I've always heard that this store is expensive, I figured that's just how it goes. I felt like they were pushing me to purchase this outfit even though it didn't really look that amazing j & I wondered if they genuinely liked how it looked on me or not. Regardless, I made the purchase. (I will say that the owner was very accommodating with me regarding payment as I didn't have enough cash on me at the time. For that, I was super thankful.) Upon picking up my outfit, the seamstress was not there so I was unable to try it on in-store & make sure everything was good but when I tried it on at home, the zipper for both the blouse and skirt immediately split apart. I reached out to the seamstress on my own and had it fixed because something told me not to go back through Rehana's. Since then, I've learned that if you have an issue once you've paid, it's no longer their problem. This is the point where everybody else in the bridal party started having issues with their outfits. Sizing was off, zippers were breaking, and more. Then they told my friend (the bride) that unstitched outfits are garbage quality which strikes me as kind of odd -- why would you sell anything that you call "garbage?" And why did you tell us the unstitched outfits were so amazing if they're not good enough for you? I kept thinking that they would never wear these outfits themselves. They're just out to make a sale by any means necessary. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this business to anyone because even though you might find something nice within the store, there's no telling what kind of service you'll receive. If you end up having an issue, you might get told off & judged. Their responses that I saw with my own eyes were so off-putting that I could never spend money in this store again. I provided pics of exactly what I was looking for and was assured I'd get it. They were informed of my pregnancy prior to placing my custom order and told me not to worry about it. I placed my order in December after the mom told me to come back in December as she was getting 2024 bridal collection, I didn't find anything that I liked and provided pics of what I wanted. The outfit I ended up with was beautiful but just not what I asked for. The neckline was too high, the sleeves too long and no elephant cutouts, and the boobs were awkward. When I voiced that to Alicia she told me there was nothing they could do about the top since I was a little over a month out from my wedding. At the end, a week before my wedding the mom told me they could have remade the top for me. I had also purchased 2 unstitched for my mehendi and haldi night. Salma, the seamstress who works in their basement was recommended as being the best and stitching beautiful. I went back 4 times for one outfit because Salma couldn't get it right. I was more than patient and understanding and gave her numerous opportunities to fix the issues but a week out from my wedding I lost my patience. My mehendi outfit did not fit, it was too big in some areas, too small in others and the skirt was uneven. Salma also spoiled my haldi outfit. I was lucky enough to find the same outfit in their inventory which they switched out for me. I took my outfits to another seamstress they recommended and my bridal outfit had more issues than I knew. The top I was told was poorly made and had to be cut from the bottom which would mean losing some design, I was already frustrated because the shirt wasn't even what I asked for or showed pictures of. The skirt didn't fit and was too long and had to be taken care of as well. I had to give up my sleeve from my mehendi outfit because the prior seamstress did such a poor job. The new seamstress was a god send and stitched my haldi outfit beautifully, did her best to fix the mehendi outfit (I had to give up my sleeves) and she made my bridal top wearable and fixed my bridal skirt. On the DAY OF MY WEDDING the zipper on my bridal skirt broke and when I messaged Alicia she instantly blamed the size of my belly. The skirt had more than enough room to fit my belly. They wanted me to take it to the seamstress to fix and I couldn't, I had photography and my ceremony. I couldn't have anyone take the skirt for me because I didn't get dressed until after hair and makeup. I had no time to take pictures and go to the seamstress and be back in time the ceremony. Alicia stated my unstitched wasn't fitting the way I wanted because the quality of unstitched is garbage BUT yet the outfits were recommended by the owner. Why are you selling garbage to your customers? The unstitched fit perfectly fine once a competent seamstress worked on it. For my husbands sherwani, I requested our initials be placed in the design on the back and provided a pic of how I wanted it and was told they'll do it but they didn't. I ordered a kurta for my 5 pound puppy and even though measurements were done by Aleeya it was too big when it arrived. Although we spelled my puppies name to Aleeya who wrote it down, it was spelled wrong. She told us not to worry she'll remake it and have it overnighted, we didn't get it until the day before the ceremony and it was too small. Alicia tried to place blame on me stating that I told her sister to make it an inch smaller, when Aleeya remeasured him and said she'll go an inch smaller. I made the mistake of trusting that they knew what they were doing. They talk bad about Nazrana, but claim they could give you the same thing for a better price but in reality they can't. The mom also told me when as Alicia stated I was "crying like someone died" (the week before my wedding when all my outfits looked like a joke) that I didn't want to pay nazranna's prices when I had an appointment to go back to nazrana but Aleeya assured me they can do the same thing. I regret not going with my first choice but won't make that mistake again; especially since my sister and cousin will be looking for bridal outfits--they're 100% aware of my experience. read more

Went to this store for the first time today with my family and had a great experience. I learned of this store via advertisements from Instagram. Rehana's Exclusive Design [RED] is a well known boutique in the West Indian community and carries a large variety of women and men's Indian clothing, accessories [jewelry, bindis, etc] and shoes. The store is located in the Jamaica area of queens and there is meter street parking available. When you walk into the store you can't help but feel overwhelmed by all of the beautiful clothing. The business specializes in bridal wear but carries other clothes as well. The store is small however there is a basement section which has a huge variety of clothing for adults and children. I wasn't really sure what I was looking for, and only knew that I wanted a variety of clothes that I could wear in informal situations, which is the opposite of what people are usually looking for in this sort of store. I was immediately greeted by the owner's daughters, Alicia and Aleeya. I was helped by Alicia who was patient in helping me to pick out various shirts and find sizes that were just right for me. Alicia also patiently helped my family pick out men's clothing. The prices were very reasonable and the quality of the clothing was impressive. I will definitely return to this store for all of my Indian clothing needs. Alicia and Aleeya were also nice enough to suggest local eateries for lunch! This place is great! read more

If you are looking for honest people who treat you like family this is the place to go! Talk about last minute, I purchased an outfit for my event an hour before I had to be there. The three sisters there pulled so many outfits for me to try, in less than 15 minutes I found something that I liked. Their opinions are honest and they don't try to persuade you just to buy anything. They even offered to steam the outfit for me to be able to wear it right away at no extra cost. They discounted my purchase and wouldn't even take a tip when I offered them. I would definitely recommend them to all my family and friends. Don't even consider going anywhere else.
