(He points to something by the shoulder hem on one of his 12 shirts that I just picked up.) Me: "No." Hubby: "Could you take it back and tell them that I want a redo?" Me: I put my glasses on. After reading reviews of dry cleaners, I chose Reid's on Lakeline Drive to dry clean my brand new $300 comforter that my pet had soiled. Yes, I signed a waiver giving them permission to dry clean my comforter as the label directions on the comforter specified "Dry Clean Only". When I picked up my comforter, I found it to be ruined, with threads and puckering throughout the fabric. I sent an email to the business and left a message for the owner to call me back. When I was not contacted I called Reid's at Lakeline where the woman who answered the phone told me I signed the waiver and they weren't responsible. I expected my " dry clean only" comforter to be cleaned, and not ruined, and would have appreciated a call back by the owner. If you have clothing, comforters or other items that you want handled responsibly and with care, and know that the business will at least do the courtesy of returning a call when you have a concern, don't use Reid's as your dry cleaners. Update: Reid's ignored my concerns until my review was posted on Yelp. The woman at the Lakeline location whose people skills were previously lacking became friendly and concerned. After dropping off my comforter to be "evaluated" I was told that my brand new comforter was destroyed by dry cleaning due to a "manufacturer's defect", and to come pick it up. I continue my search for a dry cleaners which is professional, careful with my valued and expensive items and stands behind their work. Reid's Dry Cleaners clearly is not it. read more

Took a $500 sweater here to get dry cleaned when I got it back the first time it had stains all over it that were not there when I brought it in. They send their cleaning out and don't do it on site so there was no way of speaking to a manager when I dropped it off. When I asked for it to be re-cleaned I specifically asked that they please call me before doing anything as I did not want it to become even more damaged. When I called the next day to follow up they had already proceeded to clean it and shrunk it in the process. I received it back half the size that it was when I brought it in. If I could give 0 stars I would. While they started out great and rarely had an issue with getting my stuff back on time but it always worked out. Until now, not only did we use them when we moved they have failed to deliver my clothes on the correct day multiple times in the past 3 months. Then if that wasn't frustrating enough I sent in my duvet cover over 6 weeks ago and they've not only not lost my duvet (or misplaced) no matter how many times I try to get an answer I get nothing. Absolutely NOTHING!! The owner hasn't taken time to get back to me. A manager has been promised to contact me which has never happened. I've asked the driver multiple times and still haven't heard anything. The duvet was almost $200 and is brand new !! Luckily I have a receipt and it's brand new so I will be asking for a reimbursement so I can buy another one. This is the most horrible service!! read more

I have used them twice. Perfect service and my cloths were done great, but more than i can afford. I'm not picky with my cloths, so i thought they were more on the high side in price. Thats the only thing negative i have to say. I wish they were cheaper, but other than that, they were top notch in service. I only moved here recently and came from Dallas, where you can get laundered shirts for 89 and 99 cents. Maybe it's just higher here so that's why i didn't rate against the cost. read more

Do you enjoy having your expensive clothes ruined? Do you enjoy dealing with rude employees who will not take one lick of responsibility. If your answers are yes then, you're in luck!! This is BY FAR the WORST dry cleaner in town. They have ruined several of my clothing items (mostly missing buttons) but most recently, an expensive Anthrpologie dress that had only been worn once. Add insult to injury, they've held my dress hostage for days whilst proclaiming that "we followed the care instructions". Funny, when I called Anthropologie, not a single person had complained about having issues with the dress being dry cleaned. So again, if you like having your clothes ruined by people who hate responsibility by all means, keep giving this horrible place your cash! Meanwhile, I'll go to Ecoclean. P.S. Anthropologie has agreed to exchange my dress...even though this was no fault of their own. Let's hope Reid's will eventually return my dress. 5 days and they for some reason, don't want me to see it...wonder why? read more

Picked up my cleaning, and noticed that the stain on my shirt was still there, asked the lady at the counter if she could redo it for me. She said no problem. Went back a few weeks later to get more cleaning (I had dropped off more between trips), and the shirt was missing. I was told to call the main branch in Round Rock, and then was told that there WAS NOTHING they could do since it wasn't in the system.....My $90 dress shirt was left in THEIR store to be re-cleaned, and somehow it becomes my problem and not theirs. They weren't even willing to meet me half way in the replacement of the shirt. I had been a customer there for more than 10 years. Needless to say, I have taken by business elsewhere. Want to know a fast way to lose a good customer? Act like this......TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

I'm with Melissa. The young, neatly groomed Eastern Indian woman who is almost always behind the counter, is curt to the point of rudeness. Over 10+ visits, she does not return my greeting and rarely says anything pleasant. Perhaps she is immensely shy, but instead, gives the impression of not liking dealing with customers. Today, she actually sighed in exasperation when taking my order, when I was confused about what she was asking. Torn between just posting this and actually trying to contact the owner. This contrasts with the immensely friendly service I experienced at 2 Reid's cleaners - out in Lakeway and Bee Cave from 10/2014-3/2015. Love the company and what they are about. Good quality work. But someone needs to talk to this young woman about customer service in the South. I am thinking her demeanor might be more appropriate in other parts of the country/world, but here in Texas, it's unacceptable. And I am not a big complainer. They did a wonderful job cleaning a winter coat that had grease stains.

Horrible. Went to get 3 items starched and get them back the next day.. LAZY. All I have to say. I had asked for heavy and medium starch in the items and they were both one less. I am so unhappy with this service. I do not recommend. They didn't even fold the shirts properly so I got the back all wrinkle still. DO NOT GO! Waste of time and money, it's like they didn't do anything. read more

Terrible customer service! I had a shirt ruined and they would not be responsible to cover the cost or even meet me halfway. It took Rosie the manager 3 weeks to return my phone call.
