This location has great review for dry cleaning and since it's locally owned I opted to come here even if it's farther away from home/work. My precious scarves, well loved coat and four skirt suit sets with tops etc. The lady was so quick she knew what she was doing. While they don't have military discount, they have quarterly coupons which I used 20% for max 5 pieces. I had obviously more Pick up is this Friday so I'll update this review! read more

I have been going here for many many years but as of late, the price keeps going up and the quality is going down. The collars on my shirts have been very wrinkled and when I try to get help, they won't call me back. The lady that is always at the store is a really nice person but management/ownership is avoiding me and all I'm asking is to have my shirts redone at no charge. read more

Worst cleaners service I've ever seen!! I dropped off mu favorites white shirt for new years event, just to have the collar cleaned, after 4 days when to pick it up, noticed a stain; it seems like it was added while being processed in a dirty place I guess. Then they told me they'd re-do it for me ... They said re-do takes longer, instead of prioritizing for their poor service!!! After 3 days I decided to take it back and clean at home, now got a new iron burn on the collar. Not even sure if I can wear this shirt anymore anywhere!! One thing for sure, will NEVER trust this service anymore!! Regarding owners reply: 1.The clerk at the store was very rude with me and my parent , but when a white woman dropped off her cloth she was very polite. 2. I was not satisfied with the $10 reimbursement and I stated that, but the owner insisted that's all there can be done. the garment themselves are over $100. After more than a month of back and forth redos, now my garment has holes in it and they basically said it's not their fault and won't reimburse me for the damage. Great first experience here! I've been searching around for another dry cleaners since Jack Brown's is terrible, and decided to give Rick's a try. The staff was super friendly, and I found the prices to be very reasonable. I had 2 button down shirts and a large tablecloth I use for work and it came out to about $20. I love the text messaging feature that tells you when your clothes are ready. Super convenient! I only wish they were a tad closer to Leander (where I live), but it's worth the drive if I know they are going to take care of my clothes and do a good job. Will be back for sure! read more

I was hoping that this place would do the right thing and give us a full refund. But with the actions of the employees and the owner himself- we have been proved wrong. After numerous calls and emails, and three separate checks being sent- somehow they ended up on a total of $147.05 refund. All we wanted was the amount that we paid for our comforter and the amount that we paid for the "cleaning." $2.99 everything so much better than Jack Brown cleaners. But still not the cheapest. You can count on them to have your clothes ready by the following day after 3p though! They offer a txt messaging service for when your clothes are ready; I asked the guy how to sign up for that and he told me that it is standard so I should get a txt. I never did though. read more

I have used them a handful of times with no issues until my latest visit. Had several dress clothes dry cleaned and they have the strongest smell. I can't figure out what it is but it reminds of me of smoke and a cheap womens perfume. I hung them outside all day hoping it would help but they still smell very strongly. **I have added a star for great customer service from the owner after seeing my initial review. I did take my items back in for cleaning but they still came back with a funny smell. It wasn't as strong as the first go round but when I tried wearing one of the items to work, as soon as I got in my car, I went back in and changed because the smell was too strong. Hopefully the machines are fixed but I haven't been back to find out. read more

Picked up dry cleaning and smelled like smoke. They offered to clean again and owner of the company personally apologize by phone and Yelp message. Pretty impressed they picked up the phone to call. Update owner called me to resolve issue. They cleaned clothes twice and had a small hint of smoke smell still. He was definitely nice though. read more

I was a little concerned based on some of the reviews but everything came out just fine.

After more than a month of back and forth redos, now my garment has holes in it and they basically said that it is not their fault (then who else did the dry cleaning??? A rat?) and won't reimburse me for the curtain damage. I sent all my curtains to the store on Bell Rd, spending more than $400 on cleaning fee. Most of my curtains are from Pottery Barn and cost around $150 per sheet. No one in the company including the owner wants to be responsible for the damage and expect me, the customer, to take responsibility for the damage that were created after going through their process. I don't think they can care less of their reputation (if they still have). What's more, the staff is rude and racist, the customer service was not easy to talk to. When a white women dropped off her cloth she was smiling and friendly but when we visit the store she doesn't even look at us when she speaks in a rude tone. I had my favorite Christmas dress cleaned at two other well known cleaners who were unable to get out several very dark and noticeable spots. In a last effort, i went to Rick's. They not only got out the spots but replaced all the gold buttons free of charge because one was missing when I took the dress in. Their prices are reasonable (Jack Brown charges nearly $10.00 more for a cashmere sweater!) and the staff is most accommodating. read more

They do a good job, they're fast and I have yet to have a problem at this location. Would I take an expensive formal gown here? Probably not. But you can't beat the price ($2.59 for most items) for cleaning your everyday clothes. I also like their hours: 8-5 on Saturday and 7-7 weekdays. My duds are usually ready to be picked up the next day if they're dropped off by a certain time (I think 5 p.m.). Just be sure to point out any stains that need attention. They operate on volume so they're not examining every garment under a microscope. You do have to prepay, but they take all forms of payment: credit cards, cash, checks, used hangers (just kidding about the used hangers). read more

I took a white tuxedo jacket there on Saturday and they accepted it and I had to pre-pay for it, which was fine with me. I went Monday night to pick it up and received it and went home. When I arrived home I noticed that nothing had been done to it, had not been cleaned or pressed. I returned to the store again and they told me they rejected it because they said they were afraid of ruining it. They would not refund my money and said they have given me a credit. I have no intentions of returning there again due to this situation and will find a more qualified cleaner for my suits. read more

So last minute I needed my husbands one and only suit dry cleaned for a work event. I drove to four different places and they all said "Monday". Well that's no good because it was Friday and I need it for Saturday. I went to ricks. They said 3pm Saturday. We had a full schedule but said okay, we will make it work. My husband had to go back and forth downtown for our kids dance rehearsals and I was in marble falls for an event. My husband txted me at 330 and said his suit wasn't ready. I left marble falls at 415 and called and explained that my husband had to go down town to pick up the girls and I was on my way back from marble falls but I should make it by 510. (They close at 5). She said no problem come in, I'll stay. It was the most stressful hour trying to make sure I made it but I made it at 5:06! It means the WORLD to me that she did that. I know it's such a #firstworldproblem but it's his only suit, with the hectic day there was no time to go get another one (plus that's stupid expensive) THANK YOU SO MUCH. You've earned loyal customers :) ******EDIT***** There is a hole in his suit jacket. It was not there before I'm sure of it. I'm not looking forward to spending 200 + on a new suit as he will need it for another event in jan. *****EDIT*******12/15/16 Ian (the owner) reached out to me and asked me to bring in the jacket so that they can determine what happened. I complied. He then called me after he had a chance to examine the jacket. He was very insightful and offered a list of things we can do to prevent this in the future as well as gathered up information for me. I appreciate the fact that he cared enough about what happened, and took the time to investigate it. I no longer feel like it was the cleaners fault. Don't bother. Before Christmas I dropped off a handful of items that I was planning on selling consignment. I dropped off on a Monday but couldn't get there to pick up until Friday. I took them home took them out of hangers and noticed a strong "cleaning" smell and figured they just needed to be aired out. The next day I took them to a popular consignment boutique only to have them rejected! There was a strong odor-- they asked me if I smoked! I was livid. I took my clothes back and immediately drove back to the cleaners and by the time I got there I had a major headache from all the off gassing coming from these clothes. I took them to the woman behind the counter, explained, told her that after a Google search it appeared that they are using dirty filters-- perc is what most websites say will stink in clothes.. The woman behind the counter took a strong whiff of all of them and said she didn't smell anything. Told me to air them out over the weekend. So I hung them in our spare bedroom closet that is open to the room, made sure the bedroom fan was on. The odor was so strong I had to shut the bedroom door and it kept being strong for a week+. They've finally stopped smelling but in their place are odd odors-- perfume I've never worn, a strong Mexican food smell. I've dragged my feet on writing this review because I didn't know what to do next. Answer: find a someone who actually does a good job-- not potentially ruining clothes. Which I promise, if these clothes (and cashmere blanket) are permanently ruined, they're getting the bill. Hopefully they'll at least refund the waste of $30 I spent. read more

It's been awhile since I took some of my husband's and my clothes here, so there is a chance that they may have improved in the meantime. Although they did an okay job for garments that didn't have any stains, there were some food spots on a 2 of my white wool coats that needed some extra attention, and they didn't get it. Also, my husband was ticked because on every single one of his (nice) shirts that I took in, they stapled the ticket to the shirt, so now they all have staple holes in them. not cool. I have a company that buys and sells gently used Suits, Tuxedos and Blazers. As a result, I'm in the Cedar Park store quite often. It's no surprise that all of the employees are always at the ready to assist me with my large dry cleaning orders. Additionally, when I'm facing time constraints, multiple employees have offered to call or verify if a dry cleaning order comes in earlier than expected. Their cheerful demeanors extend beyond my personal interactions. I see them provide the same high quality of service to other customers. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: (subtitle: Five hours I'm never getting back) We found Ricks Cleaners via google maps since we were unfamiliar with the area and decided to give them a try because we were under a time crunch and looking for an economical cleaner. Our first flag should have been the price. Really inexpensive. (Read: you-get-what-you-pay-for cheap quality, I'll explain). But we thought, "hey, it's here, we're here, let's try them". Let me add that there is no option to pay when you pick up your clothes. I can see how this protects the business owner, but that just means you prepay for them to lose and damage your clothes. (Both of which happened to us). The FIRST time we arrived to pick up, on the day indicated at the time of drop off, the clerk handed over part of one order we submitted and none of another order, with the explanation "it's not here". This would not have been an issue except for the fact we live an hour away from the store. We got no advance notice that part of our orders would be held. The clerk could not supply any kind of explanation, just gave us a number to call and said "come back tomorrow". (This is at the 2hr mark in the saga) When you call the number it's the standard "leave your message and we will get back to you"..... Yeah, but when? And when was that ever an effective way of handling customer complaints? We re-enter the store and insist on speaking to a manager or owner and the clerk redialed the number he gave me, instructed the manager to pick up, and had me call again from my phone. I guess the cord wasn't long enough, wait, (I mean it was a cordless phone...perhaps he was afraid I'd take the phone with me as ransom for my missing clothes.) I spoke to a woman named Barbara. I was put on hold about 5 times and when I asked if I could get reimbursed for such poor service, I was abruptly interrupted and in a you've-got-to-be-kidding-me tone of voice said, "no, you aren't getting your money back." Thanks Barb, that's just awesome. However, my favorite part of our conversation was, after I informed her I'd be leaving a review detailing my negative experience, Barb responded, "Now dont'cha go bad-mouthing us before the owner talks to ya." Swinging for the fences on that one, aye Barb? Anyway, I drive home. (3 hour mark). Ian calls me (the owner) and gives me a very detailed and informative explanation about their process and how they clean, etcetera. Yes, I spelled etcetera. I couldn't care less about dry cleaning processing and thus the reason I paid someone else to do it for me! His explanation boiled down to the fact they messed up one of my garments and thus the entire order is being held in an effort to fix it. He said all non damaged garments could be returned to me if I wished. And also, since I was coming from a long way, I would receive a call as to when my order would be in the store, ready for pick up ( remember this part, it's important). Now, couldn't that clerk in the store have been provided that info, given it to me, and thus have prevented all the frustration and hassle? By the way, I explicitly asked for compensation several times and none was offered or provided. I was offered credits toward future orders, as if I wanted to waste time, gas, and peace of mind on more drama, miscommunication, and wasted gas money in the future. We drive the hour back to Ricks Cleaners, to pick up only part of our original order. I am given PART OF part of my order, and was informed, "you're done here, ma'am". I drew his attention to my other ticket, he said "It's not here (I got a call saying it was, señor). (To the clerks credit, he was young and probably just trying to do his job. Poorly trained at that. )He began to look frantically and hopped on the phone making calls until he realized he was looking under the wrong name. I left with what they had and still am waiting for the remainder of my order. Not counting on a call back for that, either. Bottom line: don't waste your time. Pretty sure a place where they speak broken English has better service. read more
