Parents are forced to leave the playground and walk through the mall to find a bathroom, which is unsafe and inappropriate for young children. The front desk staff were rude and unprofessional. When concerns were raised, there was no explanation, no apology, and no effort to help. One of the play areas has been out of service for months, showing a clear lack of maintenance. I also did not see a business license displayed, nor any customer service contact information available at the front desk. Because this business serves children, I strongly believe the City of Thousand Oaks should visit this location, verify proper licensing, and ensure it meets basic health, safety, and operational requirements. At minimum, a kids' facility must have a working restroom and hand-washing access. Until these issues are addressed, I do not recommend this place to parents.

The good thing that once you are inside it is gated and locked so no need to worry about your kid running off. My oldest loved it and for that same reason I rate it a bit higher. Our host , I think her name is Kristy, help us to set up and was always checking in to see if we needed anything. This place provided a red cart to transport our party supplies, which was very thoughtful. We also loved that the party area already felt festive and fun, so we didn't need to bring many decorations or balloons. The entire facility was very clean and well organized. There were also a few pleasant surprises that made the day extra special. The mascot came by to take photos with our birthday girl and our family, and we received a beautiful acrylic photo keepsake with both pictures. My girl also loved the little goodie bag that mascot gave to her. The kids had an amazing time and didn't want to leave. I also like that there is a mini fridge in our party room so we could keep our popsicles frozen until the end of the party. Another thing I would like to mention, is this place didn't feel overly crowded or too noisy, even though it was a Saturday afternoon (maybe we were lucky that day) If I had a couple of things to add on, I would love to have a little more setup time for us before the party starts, since we're only allowed to arrive 15 minutes early. We called again when we were 30 minutes out to ask about height requirements. Our call was missed -- and they called us back, so they had our number. We drove from Simi Valley to Sherman Oaks to find the entire place shut down for a private event. When we arrived, Lucine informed us that the party had upgraded their package, which resulted in the entire venue being booked. They had time to make signs for the party but couldn't take two minutes to call us back and save us the trip. Or save my 3-year-old the disappointment. When I said I'd be sharing my experience, Lucine handed over free passes -- then asked if I'd still be leaving a review. That told me everything about the gesture. It wasn't an apology. It was damage control. We may give them another chance, but this visit was sloppy and unprofessional. Call ahead if you're planning a trip. And maybe call twice. Edit to add: I already noted in my original review that an attempt was made to remedy the situation -- bringing it up again here with a dollar figure attached feels more like a rebuttal than a genuine response. Kelsie and her crew (Sophia, Rebecca & Mattie) did a phenomenal job for my granddaughter's 1st birthday party. Kelsie herself was a complete blessing!!! She is an amazing & very thorough party planner. From the first phone call inquiry, answering all my questions and kept me in the loop for anything else via email or phone call until the party date. When you read, with the VIP package all you need to do is show up with your child, that's literally all you have to do! The food and beverages were excellent choices.
