Imagymnation has been around for a long time. I used to bring my boys here, when they were little (my oldest is turning 40). Went here for the first time for a birthday party. Great experience. The staff was very friendly and took the time to learn all the kids names. The made the birthday girl feel special which was nice and all the kids had a good time. They did a few games and let the kids have lots of free play time. Space was small but clean. My family and I went here for a birthday party the other day and boy was it the best place for Oli! He got to run, jump, climb and play nonstop, he was having THE time of his life. Coach Olivia and Kiara were SO helpful, they took great care of everyone and made sure the little ones (like Oli) were never left out. They also played hide n seek (Oli's favorite) and helped serve the guests cake! My coworker mentioned how helpful they were not only this birthday party but a previous one she hosted too. It was stress free which is what I look for and appreciate as a single mom. My son loved the party and even cried at the end when he realized it was about to be over. Years ago we attended a birthday party at Imagymnation, and let me tell you, since that moment my son had been telling me that he too wanted to have his birthday party there. We finally had our first friends-birthday and were able to invite a group of kids to come and celebrate with us. I was *very* overwhelmed, but booking at Imagymnation was the BEST thing I could have done. PRICE: Lets be realistic. Price is a big part of birthday parties. It seems that a lot of places now charge exorbitant rates for kids birthday parties (which normally last a few hours) and on top of that have a lot of rules (no outside food, no decorations, shared space blah blah). Imagymnation is *not* like that. I found their pricing to be very reasonable (literally half of some of the other places that I looked at!). I booked the 20 kid rental for $450 - for this price I got 2 hours of PRIVATE time. No other families/parties going on. We were the focus. It was fantastic! PARTY ATMOSPHERE: They do ask for you to keep decorations "to a minimum" but they do let you bring outside decorations. I bought some table clothes, themed plates, themed dishes, etc. The staff were wonderful and helped me set up within minutes. They really lead the way and helped me set up a wonderful table. There was plenty of seating area for the adults, and the opportunity to go into the gym/play area and mingle with the kids. FOOD AND DRINKS: You are welcome to bring your own food, drinks, and snacks at no additional cost. Pizza, cake, juice boxes/water, and easy to clean snacks/food are recommended. STAFF: Oh my God, I wish I had gotten the names of the staff members who had helped us. They were honestly the stars of the show. They helped us set up and break down (even being so nice as to load our cars while we said good-bye to our guests) and they ran an amazing party. We had a two hour block and they asked me how we would like to spend the time. When they could tell I honestly was overwhelmed and had no idea they stepped in and gave me a step by step routine (asking for my permission to run it that way) and gave the kids plenty of time for free play, guided play, and then time to eat and have cake. They did everything from leading several games of hide and seek, leading games of duck duck goose and running and jumping, wrangling 20 kids into several photo opportunities, handing out giftbags (and making sure all kids got one before they left) and refilling drinks, providing snacks, and cutting the cake (no detail was left unturned, they asked me which way I wanted the cake facing for photos - something I honestly didn't even think of). They were BEYOND AMAZING. PARKING: Street parking (on a quiet street) - not a problem at all. CLEANLINESS: The gym, gym equipment, play structures, eating area, and bathrooms were all clean. Hand sanitizer is provided for the kids before they go into the gym/play area and they are reminded by the staff to use it. Also the staff wiped down the tables before we set up, and again when we were leaving. I had zero issues with cleanliness. COMMUNICATION: Easy and efficient. They answered emails within a relatively short period of time and were professional and answered all my dumb questions. Booking (online) was a breeze. OVERALL: Imagymnation is a fantastic place and our guests and most importantly the birthday boy loved the party! The kids all had a blast, the parents said they had a great time too. We came here one Saturday morning for one of our infants wake windows. For the infant "busy bee" class - it's free but you pay an annual fee of $30. Your child can then move to the next class once they are able to walk - but the next class is very structured. I went to a class where the normal instructor was not there so I wasn't sure if this was typical - but the class was not really for the babies. Mainly just for the parents to socialize. They set out toys for the babies and parents sit in a circle to chat - but once the other class / kids moved out of the way in the gym area, my daughter was also able to explore the gym area, she even did a tumble with us. I thought it was just a nice way to kill a wake window. read more

It started with me just being the one to take my niece in for her classes. Now I have enrolled my own bundle of energy in! We started in the baby bay class she could barley sit up! now she is a rough and tumble toddler!! I feel safe letting her explore all dimensions here! It's clean well lit and the staff are friendly and knowledge able!! My fear of Trampolines limits what I can do with my child but a coach is right there to help her enjoy all that tumbling offers! I made goo friends and built social skills for my daughter and although it is rough to get out the door with the child the benefit of her morning workout (mine too) is a much easier day for both of us!! My toddler goes to weekly classes at Imagymnation and I love the impact it's having on her. She comes home confident and beaming. I love how easy it is to register for classes and how helpful and competent the staff is. Also, I am so thankful for the cost transparency. My daughter loves going to Imagymnation. The teachers are all friendly and supportive. She has a great time, has a chance to get all her energy out and has definitely gained more flexibility and confidence. The gym is huge and they have multiple classes and age groups going on at the same time but the individual classes are small which gives the teacher the opportunity to really focus on each student. We love Imagymnation! The facility is a smaller, more intimate version of a professional gymnastics facility with all the same equipment plus a small side room with a giant pirate ship themed slide, foam pit, and tree house. The larger room has all the professional equipment plus a few Tarzan ropes for swinging, huge net to climb from floor to ceiling, and a tumble track trampoline. They are located at the end of Industrial Street in an industrial building off of Tapo Street. You can barely see the sign on the window from the street until you are very close. Just keep on going down the street almost to the end. The front looks like a store front and the inside is much bigger than it appears from outside. They have a small lobby and front desk. They have a snack area and benches that convert from tables to benches. They sell snacks but you can bring your own food and eat there. We love their open gym nights on Friday and Saturday night. The best deal anywhere for babysitting for 2 hours. Buy a ten pack of passes for $60 for the cheapest deal. (That makes 2 hours of babysitting for only $6!!!!!) During open gym nights, they serve cheese pizza (delivered fresh) for $2 a slice, drinks (sugary drink or bottled water) for $1 and if you give your kid some spending money, expect that they will buy a snack from the front desk (gummies, chips, cookies, crackers, or something similar) for $1 or under. WE hosted a birthday party for my 4 year old in February, 2017. It was a stress-free, affordable, fun party. My little one was the center of attention but best of all, all her friends were happy and had tons of fun. We had kids from 3 years old up to age 13 at the party and all of them played on the equipment, participated in games, and had lots of fun during the 2 hour party. The party package includes 2 attendants for up to 20 kids for the price of $300. You put down a deposit of $50 to hold the party date and then about a week in advance confirm the number of children who will participate and they require you to pay your party balance one week before the party. They have a larger party package if you are going to have up to 30 children or you can pay $20 for each additional child. Adults are free. Adults don't participate on the gym floor, instead all the adults can lounge at the picnic tables and watch the party through the viewing window which is huge and everyone can see the kids play while the adults RELAX! If you are a parent of a child 3 and under, you are allowed to go out on the gym floor to assist, but older kids are expected to go play on their own. (The way it should be!) No socks required for the kids. (They need bare feet for gymnastics). They can put their shoes, jacket, water bottle in one of the many small cubby pockets. If you forget to bring a water bottle and don't want to buy one, they have a water fountain. In addition to classes, open gym, and parties, they also offer camp for very reasonable prices. We love this place because with 3 kids, activities can get expensive but this is the one place that makes it affordable to send all three kids to do the same activity. Visited. 01/15/2017 Wow What a fantastic place. My grandkids Catie and Susie are taking gymnastic classes here. My daughter Amber signed them up awhile back and the girls just fell in love with this place. This was my first time visiting the facilities. I was extremely impressed with how large and well-equipped this place is. I got to meet both of my girls coaches and was extremely impressed with how nice and informative they were. Coach Melissa and Coach Shaye are both very energetic and truly do enjoy their jobs. My girls love them and I certainly could see why. My daughter decided to hold both girls birthday parties here. It was amazing. Two lovely coaches spent every minute hustling around with all the kids making sure they all had a fantastic time. I just want to thank them for their devotion and friendliness. I highly recommend this establishment and recommend if you want to have a nice birthday party in a very safe environment this place is for you. I was at Imagymnation for a birthday party last weekend. My kids both really enjoyed the location. There are plenty of fun things for little ones (under 10) including trampolines, climbing ropes, obstacle courses, etc. The young man who ran the birthday party was fantastic. The young lady who joined him wasn't quite as energetic (seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but there) but who can blame her. Saturday night with 15 young kids, ha. Im conflicted on this review as my son has had multiple birthday parties here and loves the open gym play. I have been a fan for at least 6 years.... My son finally got the courage up to try the ninja class. Well the male instructor made him feel so bad he ran out crying to me mid-class and did not want to go back to him. He belittled him and made a comment about what he was doing did not make sense. It was his first class and first time doing it. He didn't even come out to see what was wrong and why my son wasn't coming back in to join the class. Very insensitive- I am still shocked. read more

I tried a couple of gyms and this one is the best. My 2 year old is on his second month here and he loves it. This gym offers structured classes for toddlers. The teachers are wonderful with all the children. They keep them engaged in the activities while teaching them how to follow instructions. We came here for a Birthday party and overall this place was great, very clean, nice big spacious room for kids to play and they have a separate area for eating. They have a nice big trampoline, a rope climbling thing, gymnastics and in the other room they have a big old castle type of thing that your kids can climb and play and they have have a ball pit and other small things for the younger children. I loved this place and so did my child. I definitely would come back and I would recommend. Wish this was closer I would come more often! read more

We started at Imagymnation right before the pandemic. Of course, the gym was closed for a while but when they reopened, they did SUCH a great job getting the kids safely back to class. This is an example of the really professional way this business is operated. The owners are amazingly helpful in finding kids the right class and they make it easy to schedule makeups. The best part about this place? The coaches are amazing! The coaches are also consistent so your child really gets to know them and they get to know your child. My girls have learned so much in a kind, patient way. There are also lots of boys in the classes which is nice, too. We had a party here yesterday; and here I am, morning after so excited to rant and rave over how amazing this birthday party turned out. I have to hand it to the girls running the show; I was so impressed with their eagerness to help us set up, and put out all of our goodies! They even helped me stuff the last minute goodie bags!!! They kept us on track to ensure we made the most of our time allowance in the gym- and really made my daughter feel special. I noticed each of the coaches were interacting with each and every child we had at our party (There were a LOT!) and every kid just loved the girls. The girls cleaned up too, and offer carry things back out to our car. I can't think of a more easy going, and simple to accomplish party than this one. You guys made this toddler party a cake walk, and we couldn't thank you enough! :) I also wanted to commend you on your Expo this past weekend; Grandma usually takes our little one to the gym so as a new gym goer myself; I was lost and confused.. Coach Tim helped lead me through all I needed to know as the expo was running. He explained everything clearly, and offered so much motivation to the kids- it really was heart warming to watch the connections being made between coach and kid. Under new Management we have returned. My Son loves the new coaches many familiar from past gyms. They are sweet, accommodating and some coaches have given my son a newfound sense of freedom letting him explore equipment on Fun Finishes. Since Bernadine has taken over imagymnation is a wonderful place and full of kids to prove it. They have been accommodating with schedule changes and make ups and the coaches are all wonderful and different. If you want high quality recreational gymnastics served with kindness and care in Simi Valley, this is THE place to go. This place is a hidden jewel in Simi Valley. My kids both love their gymnastics classes. The teachers are fun, engaging, clearly make safely a priority and truly help the kids feel great about themselves. Coach Tim is amazing, but all of the coaches are truly great too. They have a fun open open gym most Friday and some Saturday nights as well as on many days the kids have off of school. My son brings a friend or two and they have an absolute blast being active all night long; Trampoline, hide and seek, tag, slides, and lots more. No video games, no TV and they're thrilled. Imagine that! The prices are very reasonable and the policies are so easy to work with. They are really accommodating when I needed a change or vacation hold. Great place, but billing practice is sketchy. I loved this place, I booked my son's birthday party and everything went PERFECTLY! Great instructors that set up everything and took a lot of the stress out of the party. The kids had a blast as well. I've booked with chuck e cheese, scooters jungle, etc; and they usually have you pay the final amount at the END of the party. This is to ensure the correct party size is billed. There's no way to know how many children are going to attend and show up to the party. Even if all the parents rsvp and confirm that YES they are going, some will not show up whether busy or due to illness. I was informed you have to pay the full amount the Wednesday BEFORE the party and if you don't cover all children attending they will charge $20 extra per child. I was aware ahead of time and it's in the contract, but...it's just sketchy. Very hard to trust a business that handles customer's money this way. I'm sorry, it's just not right in my honest opinion. I want to love this place so much. I want to continue coming here with my children but paying for 25-30 kids and only 15 showing up is not right. What if you invite 30 and only 5 show up? It's just such a shame because it's such a nice place and a wonderful experience for my kids. Unfortunately won't be booking another party here for my other kids and also wouldn't recommend to friends because of this billing issue. PLUS, the package prices do not include food of any type and expect tips as well. My party ended up costing $100 more than chuck e cheese would have been! So, to sum up, great place for open gym but BUYER BEWARE of booking a birthday party here. You'll more than likely pay extra for kids that don't show up :( read more

The most fantastic thing about Imagymnation (for me) is that you get to leave your kids with them during open play, parties and lessons. I can go run a nearby errand and check back in to make sure my kid is happy (I've even called them while running errands to make sure all is well and they've re-assured me) and I return to pick up a healthier, happier kid. She sleeps GREAT on the nights I've taken her here. The equipment is fantastic. Super fun and unique while still being safe. They change things up quite a lot so there's always something new and different when we come for Open Play. When I recommend and introduce Imagymnation to friends, I explain that they've been around a LONG time and the equipment and gym look and smell a little well... old. I try to get my daughter to wear socks whenever playing there, because the whole place smells a little bit like feet to me. But I would not mark them down for being around for years and years. My daughter always takes her socks off and has never come home with anything bad like foot fungus or rashes, she's just a little... dusty. But she cleans up well. :-) She just has SO MUCH FUN there. Prices are high, but not any higher than other great gymnastics places such as Platinum. The staff is SO much sweeter and more fun and caring and personable than Platinum. My daughter loves everyone there. And during Open Play and parties, if you divide the cost by hour, the hourly rate is actually cheaper than hiring a babysitter and your child will be SO much happier and healthier when they leave. I cannot recommend their annual Halloween party highly enough. A little pricey but my daughter had the BEST TIME and the hubby and I enjoyed a relaxing evening. The party was just amazing. The day camps are a great price but they were a little too long for my daughter. So they arranged with me that I would just pick her up early, or call if she was missing me. Worked out fine.
