Hit or miss! Great prices! First time I went they did an amazing job with gel ! Second time spainsh speaking lady took So long for a gel mani and a regular pedi. She kept looking around at everything, was so distracted . Worst part mani chip next day. The first time the 3rd chair lady asian did them as in the picture she did a great job her mani last weeks and she was fast! Had to change my review.

Came across Reina about a year ago, in search of a nail salon that could be my go to place - I personally hate the feeling of jumping from one place to another, always not knowing how it's gonna come out, uneasy feeling with different nail techs, being uncomfortable as a "new" client. For me, Reina makes me feel at ease, comfortable or "at home". Every time I walk into the store, at least one or two techs will say hello and asks you what would you like done. Carol, the owner, seems very attentive, delightful to work with and treats the staff respectfully. The times I was here when it wasn't busy, someone is always cleaning or wiping down. When they're busy taking one customer after another, I've seen them sanitize their tools in between. I do agree with some of the comments that it is a hit or miss. I usually do walk-ins when i come here thinking maybe I could try it out with another tech to at least broaden my options/ compare their works and see who's work i like best. In all fairness, I only have had the chance to work with 3 of their techs - Amy, Lisa and another one we won't name because that's the miss. So now I've learned to call in advance and ask for either of the 2 ladies I've mentioned. Overall: Ambiance - serene, calm, "light" Store - clean, a little tight Sanitation - hygienic Customer service - good Pricing - reasonable Wait time - varies Staff - pleasant

Guys, I want to rate this higher. And at the end of the day, I'll keep going back bc I do think they're the best in Jackson Heights. I've been coming here for a few years and my hope is that with enough constructive feedback, they'll get better. I just got a gel mani and regular pedi. I got a couple flowers on my mani so the total cost was $90 + $15 tip. Pedicure: they did a great job today. Color came out nice and the massage was relaxing. Manicure: not so great. Granted, I know my nails are short, but I think I asked for a fairly easy design. The response was not a happy one. The nail tech kept asking me if I wanted the stickers. I tried, but didn't think any fit what I was going for. So then she said it would be $5 per flower and $3 per sticker. I said okay, I'll take the painted flower. At the end, she complained that I used 7 colors. And the end result is.... Fine I suppose. But she said she couldn't file my nails "natural" shape bc they're too short and the flowers are not well done (although she tried). There is also gel on my skin which I can't stand (and is unhealthy). I'm posted what I asked for vs. what I got after much pushing. Overall it was a pretty frustrating experience with lackluster results. I think I'd like cleaner, more thoughtful work.

Favorite nail salon in Jackson Heights, hands down! My mom and I have been coming here for a couple of months and we wish we found out about Reina sooner. Their place is SUPER clean, they clean after every person, and everything is so nicely decorated/ organized. They have really good deals and prices. Can't beat it! I suggest making an appointment via Yelp or their actual website. They will always take you on time, I've never had to wait to get my nails done. The women who work are really nice and great, along with the owner! They are a bunch of amazing working females! If you're looking for a new spot, check this place out!!

Blue french manicure. It's uneven. It clipped after getting it done.

Save your money & your time. Paid $18 + $5 tip. I wish I would tip less or not at all. I asked for blue french regular manicure, all my french lines are uneven and the blue nail polish was running empty. She knew that when she painted first nail. So I requested multiple times to change blue color & she like no it's going be fine. As she continues. She barely put top coat & it's uneven level of top on all my nails. This my end result.

Good service overall, but sometimes the wait is really long. Sometimes I have to ask multiple times for what I want, which is kind of annoying, but they always deliver in the end and I leave satisfied.

This nail salon is a Jackson Heights gem and I'm so glad I found it! Came here because my usual place is a farther drive and I needed to get my nails off ASAP. It was within walking distance. I came in Sunday around 5pm after work and only had to wait about 10 mins with no appointment. They had me choose a color from their various SNS color wheel while I waited. There wasn't anyone hovering around me or rushing me while I looked which was appreciated. The lady who did my nails, Carol, was very skilled. I knew this because she was constantly looking at the other technicians and seemed to be helping them as well. Her own nails looked great too so I knew I was in good hands. The process seemed a little rushed since I came close to closing and I think she also had to do another person after me so she was trying to coordinate the times? But overall the nails came out great. They're VERY CLEAN as well! Carol opened a new set of tools when she did my nails. They offer a loyalty card as well with a free mani on your 10th visit. BIG HIGHLIGHT: So, one of my nails broke a few hours after I got them done (totally my fault). I called them the next day and they offered to fix it free of charge. A different lady fixed it for me and it still looked good. I really appreciated the customer service they provided here.

I was browsing for salons to get my nails done and I came across this place. I made an appointment and the lady took good care of me, directed me to the technician I picked and told me to pick what colors I wanted. Inside, it's really nice and clean. There were a lot of options and it was really beautiful. I got a classic manicure and the color white and the lady was really nice to me. She cleaned me up, trimmed my nails, even did almond which I told her to do and overall it was a nice experience. I felt really pampered and I'm really satisfied with the way my nails look. I will come here again :)

Definitely my go-to nail salon in Queens! First impression is that the space is very clean and organized. The staff was very friendly and helpful in getting me situated to begin my manicure and pedicure. Definitely make an appointment so they're expecting you to save yourself from waiting as it can get busy from walk-ins. The prices are extremely reasonable especially for the mani-pedi combo at about $55. Obviously if you want gel, there's an additional charge of $10-15 extra but that's not too bad. I love that they accommodate the pressure to what I'm comfortable with esp during the pedi routine since I'm ticklish. When i was doing my mani, I liked how they checked to make sure I was content before proceeding. I brought a photo of what I wanted for nails, and I'm sure that was very helpful. The entire session took about 1.5 hr. Overall, highly recommend getting your manis and pedis done at Reina's!

Powder gel which comes in a variety of colors to choose from.

Jackson Heights has many nail salons and you have no idea which one to go too. I cannot ask for more, but this is my favorite nail salon. Only two blocks away from my home. They offer powder dip in a variety of colors, gel, regular manicure and pedicure. The salon even offers waxing and spa treatments. Carol is amazing. Her dedication, experience, and creativity is amazing. The staff overall are really nice and welcoming. The salon is very well kept and clean. The ambience is relaxing. I love this place and feel very comfortable going there to get my nail done which are FABULOUS thanks to Carol.

I specially came here because it had pretty good ratings despite the high prices but this was by far the worst mani pedi I've ever gotten. The lady who did my nails did everything so quickly. I felt incredibly rushed. She made 3 of my fingers bleed. She didn't paint by the cuticles.. it literally looks like my mani pedi has grown out because of how far away she painted them and she painted them HORRIBLY. She also cut my nails unevenly. The equipments were not sanitized beforehand. I literally saw her take the next customer with the same equipment that was used on me. Rarely do I write negative reviews, but this was honestly such a bad experience. I will not be going back!

Nice thin and even dip acrylic powder application -- no big bump of acrylic that you'll sometimes get at other salons
    Marissa H.

My acrylic set is holding up great even after close to 1.5 weeks. No lifting, no chipping, and I make sure to use cuticle oil regularly to stretch each set before needing a fill

I've been doing my own nails since covid and used to go get my nails done in the city by my office. But I have a vacation coming up and have been working from home, so wanted to find a salon in my area to get a proper mani. Someone recommended Reina to me and I'm so glad they did! I wanted to get a nail design and was a little nervous since it was my first time here, but I decided to go for it and hoped for the best. I got a gel mani and had Carol, and she took her time and did a great job based off the inspiration pic I gave. On top of that, it was super affordable! I'll definitely be back and glad I now have a nail spot I like in my hood!

How much is it for a regular mani?

How much for acrylic set with designs?

This place does not do acrylics but they do a wonderful job with sns. The price for regular sns is 35, with extensions its 45. And with designs, it depends on how complex they are.

It is really astonishing that they've managed to keep their eyebrow-threading price at $5 after all…read morethese years amid the pandemic and inflation, while I've seen some other places raise their prices significantly (ie, $5 to $10). I've been coming here pretty consistently for the last 6 years. I initially did not like this place that much until a newer lady (never got her name, just knew by face) joined in 2018 and started doing my brows, and I was so amazed by her carefulness and gentleness that I had a hard time being sent to the other ladies working there and would even queue up for as long as 30+ min so she could thread my brows! I even had a hard time going to other threading salons because she was so good. She left a few months ago and every time that I come here now and get a different lady, I'm literally just on the edge of my seat with lots of anxiety that they don't hate me and mess up my brows because I had a strong preference for my threader. They turn out fine most of the time, but I experience redness from the pressure they put on with the thread and constantly working on the same spot. It's a hit-or-miss place and it always hit when my favorite threader worked on me but now it's literally a gamble between hit or miss when I get thrown to the first available lady. Still, can't beat the $5 price for decent threading and they probably don't have any competition for that price point.

I came here on a whim as I walked past but soo much regret. Originally wanted to get my eyebrow threaded but forgot I already prepaid for an eyebrow threading card elsewhere so I switched to a manicure because I hate doing my own nails. Chose my colour and sat down.. the lady who did my nails did not want to do nails and you could tell. Whenever I walk into a nail salon, the host is very friendly, engages with you and talks to you about your day. Nope... not a single word out of this lady. She was a bit aggressive when she was filing my nails.. kinda pulled my hand like a mom pulling her kid to come this way. Like... you're in the service industry, what... Filing was not straight.. you can see that from my picture. I asked her to fix it because I could've done it myself if I wanted something so imperfect but I think she was annoyed.. she did cut my nails, filed, buffed, apply cuticle oil, cut my cuticle and gave me a small hand massage. Colour.. yikes.. the colour was sheer to the point where it doesn't look like I have anything on. I think she should've done at least 3-4 coats but only did two.. colours are suppose to be opaque but no.. I came home and luckily had a colour that was similar enough to paint on top. Overall, not returning for nails. Probably wouldn't even return for brows.. the place is tiny.. uncomfortably small but if you're really on a whim, give their threading a try as I do see a lot of people come in for that. Not recommended for nails.
