1/12/2026 - My wife and I ate here for the 1st time. We came here from Mabank. A hidden jewel! Very deceiving when you look at it from the outside. However, when you go inside, tastefully decorated with nice booths and tables. More spacious than it looks like from the outside. Very clean. Even the bathrooms are clean. Now to the food. What impressed me was that everything is freshly made. The salsa was some of the best I've had and of course homemade. The tortillas (both flour and corn) were so fresh and good. I had the Fajita plate and a side order of street tacos. The beef was very tasty. My wife had the Chile Relleno plate. She happens to be a connoisseur when it comes Chile Relleno. She was quite impressed. We'll eat there again as we go that way from time to time. The service was good. I recommend this restaurant. read more

We wanted to try a different place to eat and this place had some good/decent reviews so we went for it. The salsa didn't have much flavor, it tasted as if it may have been watered down to make it go longer. The chicken enchiladas didn't have any sauce, but the tortillas seemed to have been soaked in a sauce or something so that wasn't bad, but really wanted a sauce. The cheese in the cheese enchiladas wasn't melted at all so it left a lot to be desired. I am always wanting to support local small businesses but this one didn't hit the mark. read more

Stopped here for dinner on the way to Houston and it was great. It looks like a small place but can hold quite a few people inside. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious!! Seriously some of the best Mexican food I've had in a while. Very homey and with great flavor. read more

Crazy Tuesday taco special. Cozy out of the way, hidden taqueria. Very fair prices and good flavor. Its location means only the locals might see it. Ordered 2 simple tortas, han, cheese and avocado. Got 2 small slices of avocado. One torta was cold and they put mayo and beans on both even though I asked for none of that and they repeated the order back to me. I got fries with my order and they were half frozen and soggy. I didn't notice until I was home and by then it wasn't worth me going back. I was just disappointed that they messed up such a simple order. Wish I would've taken a picture. read more

My friend recommended this place so we went coming back from dallas. It was amazing their enchiladas michoacánas are very good and I got the barbacoa which was excellent, it tasted very fresh like it was just prepared. I got their agua de melón and it was perfect not too sweet. I recommend stopping here if it's on the way. read more

If you walk in expecting Taco Cabana, you're going to be disappointed. This is like walking into the past into your grandma's house (if she was a little Hispanic grandma like mine was). Everything here is authentic! You're not gonna find grated, processed cheese. You're not gonna find searing fajitas brought to you by a waitress. What you are going to find is a woman making true authentic Mexican food!! If you're tired of eating your typical Tex-Mex with oily cheese and want tortas, enchiladas, tacos and sopes and Coke from a bottle, then this is the place for you. This is the definition of "hole in the wall" as it only has three small tables that can seat a total of 9 people! But you honestly feel as if you're waiting for your grandma to bring you your dinner plate. The prices are very reasonable too! It's amazing ! customer service is great, restrooms of course it's included and very authentic so many choices to pick from there is enchiladas, tacos, tortas, breakfast burritos, soles and more! Love their aguas and theirs is also other drinks . But it gets busy around 10 am-1pm so go early or a bit later but they close at eight so don't go too late read more
