I have used this company in the past to move my car cross country from Washington state to Virginia to be transferred to the ship terminal to load on a Roll-on Roll-off ship for Bremerhaven Germany, there seemed to be no issues then except the ship broke down, not their fault. Now lets fast forward to 5 years later to another move in process right now as I type. Again from Washington state to Georgia, 3000 miles across the USA. Where do I start with this one? They told me it would take about a week to get to Georgia when I talked to them while setting this up (because they want your business), but later they said they had a window of two weeks. Believe me, they stick by that window, they'll milk it. I remember the first time it took about a week to get across the USA to Virginia. You can actually track the progress of your vehicle across the USA online with your order number and email. Okay, let's begin. This time around I first checked online and it said my car was in Montgomery Alabama, two days later still there, five days later Tuscaloosa Alabama. Now that took about three days to travel 56 miles for some reason. Now this will really blow your mind. I checked today, it says the car is in Dallas Texas (585 miles the opposite way). They aren't very efficient since the car is supposed to go to Georgia, they have three to four more days to deliver my car. They do make sure to let you know they have until that certain date, again not very efficient especially if you are depending on your car to get there in a timely manner (because you're spending money on a car rental) and not having them back track across the USA. On top of that, I receive a couple of phone calls from them to expect a phone call from the driver on these mystery days, I'm expected to just drop what I'm doing when I receive this phone call from a driver that just gets into town, on top of that after I tell her that I can't just drop what I am doing and drive myself to pick up my car, we can schedule it. She drops the comment in my lap that I will have to pay for the storage and not my company (slight passive aggressive response on her part) insinuating that I need to pick it up when I'm told to and that they would have to redeliver. I asked her can I just pick the car up from the storage location and I asked her how far it was. It turns out it only was 5 minutes away from the intended drop off. She left that important piece of information out, I had ask specifically for that. Two weeks to ship my car across the United States, incredible. My next move will be with another car carrier, definitely not them. read more

I had a very good experience moving my subcompact SUV. The relocation coordinator at Reindeer Auto was very communicative and walked me through the entire process. He also answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. On vehicle pickup day, the driver called an hour before picking up my vehicle, just as planned. Similarly, on vehicle delivery day, the driver let me know his ETA about three hours before the final delivery. In between pickup and delivery, I received frequent emails detailing the delivery window, so I was never truly in the dark about when my vehicle would arrive. The only thing that could've been better was that the final delivery was made on a large car carrier truck, which couldn't fit in the residential area I was living in (there were sharp turns and a lot of trees). I was made aware by Reindeer Auto that this might occur, but it was still a bummer; I was hoping that a small, local car carrier would have a flatbed truck that would just deliver one car, but that turned out not to be the case. Instead, I had to find a decent spot in public where the car carrier truck driver could safely make the delivery; I was luckily able to find one not too far away, but it could've been a major headache if there were no suitable delivery spots near me! Still, overall, I'm pleased with Reindeer Auto. The vehicle arrived with no dents, scratches, or deformities, which was my main concern. The only aesthetic problem was that it was dirty, but a car wash was a trivial solution. I think Reindeer provided good service and fantastic communication and courtesy. read more

I Own my own Truck.I stumbled on the reviews of them looking for their condition reports.I can tell you from personal experience they are in the top 3 when it comes to auto transport.The customer has to understand that in order for the driver and the broker to protect them selves from fraudulent claims .When a car is released to the customer. it is theirs.I cannot afford, nor can they. Fraudulent claims! When i do a condition report ,i usually find all kind of damage the customer never knew they had .Sometimes we even miss a small dent or scatch!The customer also has to remember they are rated on the sub contractors end too.Which could hurt them even worse ,By the way they have a 100% rating.Its shocking to see these people expecting a clean car,How in the world could we wash your car?Its awful that all the people who had a good experience.Don't take the time to rate businesses.I would be willing to bet they have a 99% customer satisfaction rate which is awesome.In Most of the negative claims ,They didn't read their contract.and wanted something fixed after the fact.And as far as being late or on time ,if your car arrives on the day its supposed to be there your lucky.And in general when a driver messes up a car its not small chips and scratches,Its huge roof scratches.if your car was on top ,Gashes in the thin sheetmetal .Bumpers severely damaged or the roof will be ripped off,Small dents,scratches in driver door are the only small damage in general. read more

I was very concerned about having my car of 15 years transported cross country especially with the reviews I found for the two vendors offered to me by the relocation vendor. I started with the other vendor and switched to Reindeer. I wasn't sure I was doing the right thing especially when it's hard to find information on the Reindeer's subcontractors. But, I liked the responsiveness of my contact at Reindeer and I did my research to ask the right questions. I made sure to give it a full wax prior to pick up; and I wanted enclosed carrier without multiple moves on and off the truck. I learned these tips from friends who had vehicles transported. Seemed a reasonable request given the distance. Reindeer said they don't get many requests like this. I had to pay a little extra because my company didn't cover it, and I think it was worth it. The subcontractor was AutoSource Relocation out of Southampton, PA. The way my driver seemed to care for his truck told me we could relate. Of course, I only found this out on the receiving end. On the last day, I got the telephone number of the driver and his communications were good and professional. read more

We recently moved from Phoenix to Milwaukee right in the middle of winters and used the services of Reindeer Auto for transport of my vehicle. I was very pleased with the service I received from these guys. The car was picked up from my home by a separate contractor - who - unfortunately but understandably - could not answer any of my questions regarding how long it would take for the relocation or whether my car would need a change of car carrier. But one of the Reindeer representatives (Lori R) kept me frequently updated both on phone and via email about the status of delivery and possible expected date of delivery. The car reached my destination almost 6 days before the end of the delivery period. On the day of the delivery the driver called me up well in advance and delivered at the desired location. The car was extremely dirty, but it was mostly salt and nothing that could not be cleaned in one good car wash. There were no damages. There was a follow-up email as well to confirm if everything was as expected. Overall - a very thorough and professional service by Reindeer Auto. read more

Transporting a vehicle is a very personal & costly endeavor if things are NOT PERFECT. The vehicle, in my particular case, was in the 6 figures, dollar wise. It was coming from terrible, at the time, snowy, cold, icy conditions, in Colorado, to Florida. This all created a very worrisome atmosphere for me. Rheindeer, with their professional and most considerate communications skills, relieved that worry over a 7 day, start to finish, period of transport. Immediate and consistent calls to me on the status of the transport, updates on forecast of arrival time & place in Florida, which was 3 days earlier than forecast, instructions to driver on calls to me prior to arrival. From vehicle pickup to delivery their were NO surprises, no issues, all inspite of bad weather conditions along the route & at pickup location. My wife and I recently relocated to Indiana from Atlanta. We have 3 cars, so we decided on Reindeer to handle the transport of our 2000 Saab 93 convertible. This car has sentimental value, as it was a gift from my grandfather. So I needed a company I could trust to take great care of it, but not break the bank at the same time. Heather at Reindeer got the process handled for us. Our driver Scott arrived to pick up the car at an agreed upon location and got it loaded right . I met Scott and retrieved our Saab! It was a little dirty, but what do you expect during snow and ice season. Scott took great care of our baby. He was very communicative and super nice to boot. I highly recommend Reindeer. First of all, I never take the time to write reviews but this one, honestly deserved it. When I had to get my Jeep from California to Colorado, I Googled & contacted 5 different companies on the internet for timing and estimates. When I reached out to Reindeer, I spoke with a gentleman name Chris who was the most professional and knowledgeable out of all the companies I spoke with. All the companies had very similar timing, but Reindeer was the lease expensive and the main reason I went with Reindeer was absolutely because of Chris and his professionalism he displayed. 3 days later I received my Jeep in Colorado and was more than 100% satisfied. I've had excellent experiences with Reindeer relocating my Honda Accord. It was shipped from Rockville, MD to Phoenix, AZ and then two years later back again to Maryland. Both times I received excellent customer service on the phone (thank you Chris Bates and Shawn Ball), easy booking, pick-up/drop-off locations offered, very fair pricing, and they provide frequent delivery updates via e-mail. The car was thoroughly inspected at drop off, and upon pick-up was given 24 hours to report any damage. There was no damage from either delivery. I used drop-off and pick-up locations on both ends, which happened to work better for me. Stronghold Towing in Rockville, MD and TriCity Towing in Mesa, AZ were both outstanding to deal with. We first "used" Reindeer back in February 2015 when our family moved from CO to CT via a corporate relocation package. Our 2 cars were transported and delivered smoothly via 2 separate loads at 2 separate times based on our unique schedule, and we couldn't have asked for better service from them. In fact, they did such a great job we hired them out of our own pocket to move our car (again)from CT to CA in August 2016 (long story short, new corporate position in CT didn't work out so we had to move to CA.....). We didn't want to risk having any surprises and were so impressed by Reindeer's communication and App that it was a no-brainer. Moving your vehicles across the country can be daunting however not knowing what to expect I was extremely satisfied with reindeer auto. I also must say with my personal property I have very high expectations of service and communication. Very clear expectations and time frames from the beginning. Hayley Gilliam my coordinator was in constant contact. All the timeframes given were adhered to and the third party drivers they used were very courteous and professional. We were given constant updates on the whereabouts and expected delivery of our cars and they arrived early during peak season. Dirty lol but in perfect working order. We hired Reindeer to transport my elderly father's car from Palm Springs, CA to Chicago, IL. The process was tricky since my father was no longer residing there. Chris Bates was instrumental in making this happen from beginning to end. He let us know the process, kept us daily apprised of the situation, and checked in when the car had been delivered. Also, the driver was most accommodating the night of delivery when I asked him to change the location drop off to our home instead of my father's. He was happy to do this and kept us apprised of when he would arrive. Although the car was dirty which was expected, it was in excellent condition. Reindeer Auto Relocation was the vendor in our relocation package. We relocated from Virginia to Colorado and had a great experience! We received lots of helpful information in advance. Scheduling was easy, and a representative called us a day before and again on the morning of to ensure that the timing was still good for us. We received updates when the car arrived in CO ahead of schedule (and ahead of us!) and they were great about storing it a couple days until we got there. Reindeer transported my car from California to Massachusetts. The car needed a wash when it arrived, but otherwise it was perfectly fine and not damaged at all. Reindeer originally estimated it would take 13-14 days to transport my car, but ended up delivering it within 12 days. They kept me updated daily with the car's estimated date of arrival. Everyone I dealt with in person and on the phone was very professional and friendly. They picked up the car right from my house in California, but they were not able to deliver to my new address in downtown Cambridge because the streets are too narrow, so I took uber to meet them 6 miles away from my home. read more

We transported our Lexus from Illinois to Florida and everything went great. Our coordinator provided us updates before and during the move. And the delivery driver called us the night before to let us know he was in Georgia and would be dropping our car off the next day. He called the next day and we arranged to meet at a Costco parking lot as he would not have been able to get his transport truck through our development's security gate. We met him at Costco exactly when he said he'd be there. The nicest guy and very professional. Other than being dirty, our car was in perfect condition. Reindeer did an outstanding job on moving my GL 450 Mercedes from Anchorage, Alaska to El Paso, Texas. I had concerns because of different stories I had heard on vehicle deliveries. Moving from Texas to Connecticut, Reindeer Auto made the handling of vehicle transport for our 2 cars easy and seamless.
