I went to check out Bhadra Yoga this afternoon with my sister. When I walked in I was met by a woman (unknown if she was the owner or staff) who was playing a guitar. When I told her we were interested in learning yoga, she responded in a demeaning voice tone, "the door was suppose to be locked". I never realized for a business you had to knocked before entering, and there was no sign to indicate this. When I asked about information, she responded again in a demeaning and sarcastic voice tone and laughed, "we don't do brochure everything is on the website". Note: Not everyone has a computer, and yes businesses do give out information on paper. When I asked if classes where done in groups, she became hysterical (indicated by her high voice tone and rapid speech), and started to go and on about Covid-19. Outcome: I will not be going here for yoga I will be letting my friends know not to patronize this business. And I highly recommend others do not attend yoga here. The owner/or staff who instead of inviting business in made a choice to demeaned and ridiculed potential customers. This was truly a good example of white privilege. I looked at a few yoga classes around my hotel and landed on "community acupuncture" as my self care of choice today. This was my first acupuncture experience and I enjoyed it. I ended up being the only person for community acupuncture but I think with other people, it still would have been a great introduction. Janice took amazing care of me (she mentioned the new moon which was something I was thinking about). She took great care of me and I truly enjoyed this experience of reflecting and some release (i shed a few tears during the "session") I came feeling chaotic and worried, I left feeling more centered and cared for. If youre new to acupuncture, I would recommend Janice and the community acupuncture. It's all going to be okay. Now put some needles in my ears.

I…read morelive on the East Coast but became acquainted with Dynamix Strength and Fitness when I was visiting my sister in Omaha. I found the club to have a very welcoming atmosphere. It is clean and attractive with, mirrors, pictures on the wall, lighting effects, and toiletries for you to use in the restrooms. And everyone is very friendly. Most importantly, it has the best instructors of any club I have ever been to. During the early part of the pandemic when my own health club closed, I began taking barre, flow and yoga classes online through DynamiX, and I cannot say enough about how much more in shape I am today than when I started. The classes aren't easy. There were lots of things I couldn't do at first, and even now some moves are too hard for me, but I have kept at it - I still keep at it - and I amaze myself with how much I can improve. My sister takes different classes (body pump, body attack, body combat, and step), and she says she has wonderful instructors, too. If you live in Omaha, you can enjoy the social side of taking DynamiX classes in person, but I actually love attending online because I save so much travel time and am ready for the rest of my day as soon as class is over. Usually the instructor and sometimes a student or two chat with me before class, so I even get some socializing in. In fact, I never feel deprived of anything by exercising at home. Although I rarely write reviews, I felt that DynamiX Strength and Fitness truly derserved my…read morerecognition, so here goes: I started taking virtual classes through DynamiX only four weeks ago, and in that short time my fitness level has noticeably improved. After trying different types of classes the first week, I then settled on a regular schedule of Flow with Kelly, Barre with Lindsay, and Body Pump with Bri. The instructors are tough and the classes demanding, but the more I work out, the easier it gets. I can already see definition in my arms and legs that I could not see before, I know I am stronger, and I feel healthier. I want to give special metnion to Kelly because every single time I take a flow class with her I am aware of something I can do that I could not do the time before. My balance gets better and better and I am much more flexible. What's more is that I come out of every class both relaxed and energized. Believe me, I would be a fool if I did not continue my exercise classes. I will continue, and I will write a follow-up review in a few months.
