Pedicure was first and it was excellent, followed by a manicure that lasted about two weeks (and honestly could've lasted longer if I wasn't deep-cleaning at home after I returned home from my cruise). The staff was friendly, efficient, and fast. The salon was clean and nice, they offered water, and the location is super convenient with plenty of free parking nearby. Paid $60 for a regular mani-pedi, which felt very reasonable. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

However, the experience was a nightmare from start to finish. The technician was clearly unprepared; she didn't have the matching acrylic color, her tools were in poor condition, and she kept having to borrow tools from other staff. The quality of the work was shocking. She cut my natural nails unevenly and actually sliced one of them so short that she had to glue a fake tip on it to make it match--completely defeating the purpose of an overlay on my real nails. After two hours, the result was awful. The nails were filed sideways/crooked, very thick, and the acrylic was flooded onto my cuticles. I spoke to the manager because I was afraid to let them continue damaging my nails. While they offered to fix it the next day, I canceled because I didn't trust them to touch my hands again. To make matters worse, when I spoke to them the following day, they claimed they 'don't do acrylics' there--a blatant lie considering their website ads and my booking confirmation. This place practices false advertising, charges premium prices for unskilled work, and takes zero accountability. If you value your natural nails, run the other way."

I was visiting from out of town and had limited time in the area so I appreciated them accommodating me on short notice. The technician who started my service was very kind, but she mentioned a few times that she wasn't feeling well. Out of concern, I told her she could skip the polish and stop early. Later, I regretted that decision and called back to see if I could return to have the polish applied. The receptionist was not particularly friendly, but eventually agreed I could come back the next day, Sunday. When I returned, the overall vibe was a bit off. The receptionist and the new technician seemed cold, and it felt like there may have been some internal discussion about the situation. Nonetheless, the service was completed. Unfortunately, by today, Monday (7/14), the polish on one of my toenails has already chipped, which is frustrating so soon after the appointment. When I used to live in Miami Lakes and when I come to visit, I typically go to the other location by Veterans Park and see Magalys, and I've always had great experiences with her. They were unfortunately booked for the rest of the weekend. While I've had consistently positive experiences at their other location, this visit was disappointing by comparison.

So I needed to make an emergency appointment for a dip powder mani/regular pedi because my normal…read morenail salon was booked. I went to this place because it was a convenient location for me & they had an opening. I absolutely regret it. In less than 24 hours almost all my nails started cracking. And I knew it was going to happen because the nail tech, mayvis, did not cure the dip powder correctly. Typically my normal nail tech cures the dip powder with a clear gel coat and then dries my nails under the UV light. Mayvis only used the dip powder then dried my nails under a regular fan. I'm extremely disappointed because normally my dip powder manicure lasts 3 weeks, now I have to spend another $75 to get it redone by an actual professional
