I called on Saturday, 7/12, to see if they had availability for a pedicure, and they were able to fit me in an hour before closing. I was visiting from out of town and had limited time in the area so I appreciated them accommodating me on short notice. The technician who started my service was very kind, but she mentioned a few times that she wasn't feeling well. Out of concern, I told her she could skip the polish and stop early. Later, I regretted that decision and called back to see if I could return to have the polish applied. The receptionist was not particularly friendly, but eventually agreed I could come back the next day, Sunday. When I returned, the overall vibe was a bit off. The receptionist and the new technician seemed cold, and it felt like there may have been some internal discussion about the situation. Nonetheless, the service was completed. Unfortunately, by today, Monday (7/14), the polish on one of my toenails has already chipped, which is frustrating so soon after the appointment. When I used to live in Miami Lakes and when I come to visit, I typically go to the other location by Veterans Park and see Magalys, and I've always had great experiences with her. They were unfortunately booked for the rest of the weekend. While I've had consistently positive experiences at their other location, this visit was disappointing by comparison. read more

I have been coming here and their sister location for years. Service is always good perfectly executed manicures and pedicures. They will always try to accommodate you. If they turn you away it's because they truly tried and could not squeeze you in. They would rather turn you away than do a quick rush half baked job. All the manicurist are well trained polite and always a good laugh. Polish selection is vast. I always have gel mani and polish pedi. They do dips but I cannot review on dip as I have never tried it. Service was ok. However, business exploits male clients by charging them $5 more than females for a pedi which requires less work since we don't usually get a color polish. Nail tech was nice but after she did my cuticles I requested she disinfect the area before dipping my foot back in the dirty water. She used a white stick in liquid to stop bleeding and that was it. Had my nails done today with Ana, I came in for a dip service but she took the time to explain the Apre Nails and I went for it. She is wonderful, took the time to find the right nail for my nail bed no rush. I hate wide nails and have always been very picky, she was very patient and did a beautiful job. It's usually hard to get an appointment last minute her but I got very lucky today. The gel color selection is great. If you like dip they have an extensive color collection to choose from as well. The 3 starts are because the tech was really nice and the salon is pretty but that's about it. $70 for gel hands and regular polish toes. No French nothing just a little glitter on the tip and they didn't even fully remove my old gel from my hands. She scrapped my nails so much to remove the gel that my nails all broke afterwards. Luckily I tried them out before doing my wedding nails who knows how much they would have charged since now I need acrylic nails with French and gel toes. read more

I will say I went in for apres nails and a pedicure and I won't say the technicians name but I would not recommend this place. The technicians were, as stated on other reviews, talking to each other a lot, stopping their work to FaceTime , laughing and whatnot. It's okay to converse among coworkers but it did feel like it went over their work. My technician was very nice and helpful however she made me bleed on multiple nails and did hurt me while doing my manicure and pedicure and kept blaming it on my last technician. My nails popped off twice during two different weeks while here I am typing with week old apres nails from another place and they are not falling off . read more

My first time here. I was cut to the point of bleeding 3 times during my mani pedi. My nails were filed into inconsistent shapes and lengths. The technician seemed very inexperienced with dip. She was aggressive/hap hazard with the tools, and kept nicking me with them. Very painful experience and I am currently fixing my nails at home.. Update - my dip manicure lasted less than 2 weeks before snagging on things and chipping. At other salons they last 3-4 weeks easily. My nails underneath are extremely damaged from the aggressive hacking with the tools. Do not get dip here. read more

They're nice, they're meticulous, but I don't recommend coming here for dip nails. The first time I made an appt for dip, I was talked into doing builder gel with the explanation that the result would be better for some reason, but just as hard as dip and only $5 more. Ok, fine. Tried it. But they were soft, not what I wanted, so I made another appt for dip. Next lady also tries to upsell me on the builder again. I tell her no, I did that last time. She then tells me that whoever did it didn't do it well, it should be much harder. But I declined, I wanted dip, even though now I was nervous that it seemed no one I'd worked with so far was comfortable doing dip. After only a week, the paint started to lift. I made another appointment, but due to my work schedule it was going to be a few days before they had a time that worked for me. In the mean time, the paint on one nail ended up getting ripped off, broke the tip of my nail. A few days later, my hair gets caught between my thumb nail and the paint, it falls off too and look at that, a green finger nail. My nails are brittle and broken, I have bacteria growing under at least one. It hasn't even been two weeks since I had it done. I tried to be forgiving about the whole thing, but the worse the state of my nails got, the more it bothered me that she couldn't even get the shape right. I came in with super rounded nails, she asked me how I liked them and I said "just like that, round," and somehow I left with a rounded out square shape. I'm extremely frustrated. Do your dip elsewhere or find out who in this salon knows how to do it well and don't trust anyone else. read more

There are a lot of local regulars who come here weekly and have fixed appointments. The receptionist/salon manager, Juliet, is very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Recently had the best experience doing dip powder nails and pedicure with Dayana. Let me just begin by saying she is the absolutelt best manicurist I have ever had. Especially with dip! She pays such close attention to detail and makes sure everything is smooth and perfectly, and I mean perfectly" even. Came in on a Monday as a walk in with an urgency to get my nails done and thank God they were open, because I usually see nail salons closed on Monday's so that was already a plus for me. It was quite empty due to it being a rainy day, so I was the only customer there. First thing I noticed was how cute the salon was. I felt like I had seen all their wall decor in Pinterest so I automatically loved the vibe and it smells so good. The lady that did my nails saw that I had a nail that was almost breaking so she did a gel dip on one nail, so instead of filing it down, she tried to help the nail. Thank god because now that I noticed what a difference the dip feels, I'm definitely doing all my nails like that next time. Unlike other nail salons, they treat the staff here with RESPECT and treat them like family. The owner is also always there which IMO speaks volumes. She is extremely detailed when it comes to my mani and pedi, and I always leave super happy with the work she does. *You are not able to leave a tip on the card* Your only option is cash or Cash App. This isn't a big deal to me, and I prefer to give it to her directly anyways, so they don't lose any stars for this. I was getting my nails done here for over 4 months and I have no complaints about the quality and attention of the nail techs and nail polish selection is great however there were a few times I would have my appointment booked always a month in advance there were multiple times I would walk in with a scheduled appt they always ready someone there with the tech i made the appt with. I never complained. I noticed my nails would chip a few times each time as well I would just go back fix it and again not complain. I had an emergency today when I cancelled the morning through text as I woke up unwell they charged me $10 when I already spend over $110 each time there. The owner she only cared about the charge and didn't even care to attend to client who has been going there for some time. read more
