The outside is a little plain but the inside is a vintage dream yet with every modern convenience you need. We happened to call last minute and the owner met us there in 10 minutes and explained the history of the house. She and her husband bought it and restored it back to its original beauty. There's a photo album of everything they did to restore the house and the antiques she purchased for the rooms are stunning. Can't say enough about how cool this house is!

After reading reviews and stories online I was nervous about staying there. I'm so glad I didn't rely on review. The hotel had been recently updated we walked in and it was clean and the 2 beds nicely made. First thing I did was pull back sheets and blankets making sure no bugs. Yay no bugs. The sheets were clean and beds comfy. The staff was friendly. I spoke with the managers grandfather and thought at first he was being rude. The next morning the next lady who works there explained he barely understand English and speaks it. So I felt like a jerk assuming. any ways I'm staying here again when we visit my husband grandfather. Btw we switched room the chain was broken and there was a dead spider in the first this is where I encountered the older man who I thought was rude. The ac also wasn't very cold. But the 2nd room was great.

Room was clean but overall one can suspect the owner is just doing the bare minimum and not maintaining and not wanting to ensure the customer experience is a good one. Did not bother using the other amenities as it was clear they are poorly providing a quality hospitality service.

There was a HUGE crack across our window that was TAPED with packing tape as a solution and the bathroom door wouldn't close or lock. There was also a huge patch job on the ceiling by the window like it had previously leaked. The lobby and hallways were hot and NONE of the ice machines worked. I'm pretty shocked at how this room looked. Very disappointed!!

Incredible high end buffet curated by the Master Chef, Gerard Thompson. We were served the freshest fruits/specialty salads, multiple brunch items using fresh locally raised ingredients, a melt in your mouth beef tenderloin, sushi grade tuna rolls, and ending with delectable deserts. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and there were plenty of activities to do across the property. I tried my hand at archery, axe throwing, and lasso (among other things for the first time), and the team there were patient and friendly throughout it all. My accommodations were great, I appreciated little touches like the eye mask and earplugs, and I also enjoyed the food as well. If you want a getaway with family, or a business group, this could be a good option!
