After all is said and done, I walked out with a mini fro...not curls, but a fro. It wasn't until I got home that I realized just how much of my hair was cut. I specifically asked for a trim, but so much of my hair had been cut. I am not happy with the services I received. There's nothing to be done now because my hair is gone. Just be aware.

The process continued with the relaxing water punch, scalp mask pack, and light shampoo (again using organic, handmade ingredients), followed by a waterfall with CO2, conditioner, and another scalp analysis. Hana was very thorough. I could feel that every inch of my scalp was treated well. No shortcuts, I would say. Location + Appearance + Price - Hair + Technique +/- Luz did not use various size brushes and combs when blow drying my hair (I was used to that); she used light spritz of sheen/gloss during flat-ironing (I was not used to that); I paid $40 (on the East Coast $25 is the cheapest and $30 the highest I ever paid for what is called a "Doobie").
