We moved every out out of the way for them before scheduled arrival. They were to be here for 9:30am. When no one showed up. we called them around 10:30am. The woman stated that we had cancelled. We did not. The error was definitely on them, not she nonchalantly said they could not show now til the middle of December. We could have used the vacation day doing something fun. We stayed in a giant little villa with a full kitchen & dining area- full bathroom- one bedroom & a large fold out couch in the living room. It was more than big enough for 3 of us plus our dog! They're pet friendly which is refreshing!! Now this place is set up like a little village with the center being the front desk- inside the main area- they also have a ton of little extras such as a large movie theatre, gym/fitness center, game room, business/computer room & more. Everything is very nice, well taken care of & appears brand new. They also have the large indoor pool that connects to this building & behind it a full sized playground. My son LOVED staying here! He's a smart 6 year old & he thoroughly enjoyed the pool, playground, game & rec room! Our little villa was walking distance to the main building- being about a 6 or so minute walk or about 2 blocks! Very easy to find & go in & out. The staff was also really nice friendly and accommodating. I didn't hear or see too many other guests during our stay- which was pretty nice as well. We had the entire indoor pool to ourselves for a good 3-4 hours which is amazing! Overall I was MORE than happy with this place. I would absolutely return. Everything was CLEAN, in working order, & relatively new- which is nice! One of my biggest pet peeves is paying to stay at a hotel & then seeing their amenities are anything but & the microwave, mini fridge & tv are older then the ones in my home- that's disappointing. Angie was an attentive and welcoming host, and her country breakfast could not be beat for miles around. A little whimsical as far as decorations and interior design, but extremely charming and cozy. Angie is one of the kindest, most hospitable bed and breakfast hosts I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She would check in, ask if we needed anything, but without hovering. I think it is advertised as "your Grandma's house in the country" so you shouldn't expect 5 star amenities, but everything is clean, maintained, and well decorated to suit the "grandma's house in the country" aesthetic. I think they said it used to be a boarding house. We would absolutely stay again just for Angie's kind hospitality and delicious breakfast. I don't know if they are still doing this, but if you pay cash, they'll give you a slight discount. I would recommend if you're a sensitive sleeper bringing a noise machine or using your phone for white noise to help block out the street traffic, but even that was pretty minimal. Also, don't worry about the sulfur smell in the water when taking a shower, the water is piped in from an underground well, but it is 100% safe to use. Loved the Roth House!

Just the two of us but we decided to rent the container for four people. Glad we did, it was just enough space. One thing to keep in mind is they don't provide utensils. Water was leaking frm the shower door. Walked out to a puddle on the floor. There was also a brownish stain in the toilet. It was a rainy weekend when we went. So we ended up having internet and wifi that first and only night only. Called and spoke with someone, was told there's an outage due to weather. The umbrella outside had a hole so didnt help much when we were grilling in the rain.

They did everything from wiping down the walls, cleaning the windows, removing the dust bunnies from the radiators, cleaning the furniture, vacuuming and steam cleaning the carpets. The job took longer than estimated, but they were willing to see the job to the end. I would recommend them if you need move in/move out cleaning.
