I have been waiting since December 22 (it is February 26) for a pair of sunglasses. I have been a…read morecustomer for over 20 years but the new ownership leaves much to be desired. I gave the optometrist my glasses and a prescription saying the glasses were perfect and I wasn't sure if the prescription was correct. He chose to fill the prescription. Needless-to say, it was incorrect. He blamed the writer of the prescription saying he was trying to trick me to have anyone else filling the prescription make the wrong glasses so that I would return to him. He then used my glasses to get a new prescription. The glasses he made caused me to see double. He again blamed the old optometrist. He had me come in to see his optometrist for a brand new prescription. I was kept waiting for over 45 minutes, during which time the client scheduled after me already entered. The doctor checked my eyes but "didn't bring his equipment to test for prisms" - the one problem that the glasses he gave me had. But he promised that for the next exam I would be his first patient. The next week I showed up and lo and behold the doctor was with another patient. He told me he didn't realize he promised me the first appointment and said "I guess I need a REAL appointment book". The glasses that were then made were still wrong and made me see double. He refused to refund my money and I am still waiting for a solution. When I originally ordered the glasses I called after over four weeks because I hadn't heard from them. I was told "The glasses are here but I don't know if they came back from the maker or weren't sent out yet. I'll call you tomorrow to let you know. Four days later I called him because I hadn't heard from them and was told - Oh yes, they're ready. I don't know why you weren't called.

UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE - Disrespectful and dishonest…read more Before the exam, I presented my insurance voucher. No one mentioned any issue with coverage. The doctor finally saw me (25 minutes after my appointment time) and only AFTER the exam was completed did Vanessa at the front desk suddenly claim it "doesn't cover contact lenses." This should have been communicated upfront. Anything else feels misleading at best. Felt extremely deceptive and dishonest on their part. When my mom calmly asked for clarification, Vanessa became increasingly condescending and dismissive, speaking to her in a patronizing tone. Another employee then inserted herself into the situation and immediately escalated it by raising her voice and talking over us. At NO point at all were we being rude. There was no reason for them to be hostile. We were simply asking reasonable questions. My mom doesn't speak perfect English, and the way they addressed her felt unnecessarily harsh and lacking in basic respect or patience. It created a very uncomfortable dynamic that no customer should have to deal with. I had to call them out on this and told them that they were being rude, to which they simply doubled down. Even after repeatedly asking why we weren't just INFORMED about the lack of coverage before the exam, no one could provide a straight answer...just deflection and attitude. Not only have I been to a handful of different eye doctors before and have never experienced this, but also I've been coming here since I was a child for my glasses, which makes this even more disappointing. This office lacks transparency, accountability, and respect for its clients. They are perfectly willing to provide services without clearly explaining costs. And then they'll try to treat you poorly if you question it. Take your money somewhere that actually values honesty and basic customer service.

I called the same day for an appointment and they were able to fit me in. No wait! As I entered both Ladies were welcoming and briefed me with my insurances.(which I loved, I never know which insures covers what) Social distance was a priority. Everything was clean and welcoming. The doctor was able to see me right away, I literally spent no more than 45 min with exam. She was extremely nice, easy to speak to, (some doctors get right to the point and brief) she was very thorough, explained the exams and completed the different eye tests! She took her time where I didn't feel like I was a number or a patient entering a revolving door! I inquired about colored contacts she even provided me with samples of different colored contacts!
