This is my first time at this office, two hrs later and no injections! I haven't started any treatment yet, although I thought I would be getting a TPI. During my appointment, I was informed that they would have to request the notes from my cervical medial branch block doctor and my previous pain management doctor. This was a little disappointing given that I waited two weeks for this appointment and had previously provided my MRIS. There was no previous mention about my prior doctor's notes. I was also informed that they need to check for pre-approval for my tpi. Again, I explained to this doctor that my insurance doesn't require pre-approval. I called my insurance as soon as I left this office and they informed me that they will contact pain specialists of Nevada in the morning since they were already closed to inform them of their procedure. Dr Nguyen discussed other options with me like an epidural. We also discussed their MLS laser while I was there. I did explain to Dr helmi that I had some red laser treatment at a prior chiropractic office. He claimed that laser was a superficial laser that only went skin deep. Their laser supposedly goes deeper. Two days later, I called in and spoke to I Sandy. She agreed there should be no issue since my insurance doesn't require pre-approval I asked to speak to her manager. 12 minutes later and I get transferred to Soroya

I offered to catheter myself to provide a drug test if they would get me a catheter from the urgent care on the other side the nurse told me they had bad blood with them! I asked for an oral swab they said they don't do that! I offered a hair follical test they don't do it! But I'm in renal kidney failure and can't provide a UA for that reason and they make no concessions and say your treatment will be drastically impacted if I can't, but I haven't been able to except for one or two times a day! In all reality the doctor that graduated from college should have said I should go to the emergency room, knowing I have multiple myeloma and that's the situation. Also that I have renal kidney failure ! Make your own decisions, but even a medical malpractice lawyer could see this is negligible! Just saying! Especially after reading everything they did and didn't write in my chart and all those patients who gave me their names in the waiting room. They should have realized I wasn't alone and I was talking to those patients and the one hugged me and gave me her information! Witnesses are incredible. Dr. Nahm is great and no issues whatsoever with the staff. This was my first pain injection and I was quite nervous but with the help of a relaxant, I barely felt anything during the procedure. Dr. Nahm's RN walked me through the process before we started and he did the same while performing the procedure. It was over in literally 5 minutes. If I need to go back someday, he's definitely my guy!
