Dr. Adolfo asked me a couple questions to get to know me a little then proceeded to inspect my wounds. She was very empathetic towards my situation and truly listened to my concerns. She was very straightforward with my aftercare and what was needed so that I can heal accordingly. I really love her serious demeanor and I truly appreciate how she sends you home with a care plan. She doesn't just prescribe medication and send you on your way, she thoroughly explains everything you need to do at home. Her practice is very clean and her staff is very friendly and through. Just my luck, I recently got bit again by a friend's dog that I was looking after. I called Dr. Adolfo's office to schedule an appointment and she was booked till the following week. I expressed my concerns to the office staff about infection and time off from work and Dr. Adolfo made time to fit me into her schedule. Her calming demeanor puts me at ease. She listened to my story on what had happened, inspected my wounds and worked with me to accommodate my work requirements so that I can properly heal my hand. The process on Doxy was rather easy and, besides the rude front desk girl, went smoothly once it began. Dr Banerji is a great dr, ive seen him before, i am only giving 4 of 5 stars because his staff would have been the reason i would have canceled to find a new Dr had he not logged in to chat with me. I advised him of the below review and he took my card info himself and saw that it was corrected. Thank you, Dr Banerji. First, I left work early for this appointment and called to pay my copay on my way home in an effort to stay on time for my 4pm appointment time. The girl that answered was absolutely awful. I asked her to read my card number back to me because I may have missed the last 4 correctly, she refused, stating she only had the last four and i asked again what they were. She gave them to me and i told her "im sorry I misread the last 4, its hard to see" and she said " well it already went through" I said its not my card number and she responded "well if it gets rejected we'll call you back" and then hung up on me. I had planned to advise Dr Banerji when I saw him for the electronic appointment on my phone and that i would be writing this review to protect myself incase the rightful card owner had the charge investigated. However, I never got the opportunity to do that because, although I logged in 5 min before 4pm, no one ever answered my web camera apt. I waited and called the office back about 4:48pm and the same rude girl answered and said he was running behind and hung up on me again. At one point we decided call our HR on site and confirmed it was faxed and marked delivered and when confronting the girl she said fax takes anywhere from 2 hours to 24 hours to come. Which is ridiculous and false! I work in health care and is faxing paperwork all the time and so I know it does not work like that. Because of this delay my mom FLMA paper keeps expiring and we keep having to renew and is delaying care.
